saw them in 07 at their cd release in dallas at the gypsy tea room. It was absolutely the tightest hardest grooving live show I have ever seen. There will never be another band like this.
Cherry, I was lucky enough to have seen them twice. Once at the Virgin Mobile Fest in Toronto and, once at the Bamboozle Fest in NJ. I just wish I saw them when they were touring on their own. Their sets were far too short. But, it was immensely entertaining. Here's hoping that they reform one day again!
Had the pleasure of seeing the guys more than once. Off the plate!. Sadly they disbanded. This seems to happen when a group of players are all geniuses in their own right. Recently they teamed up up with 21 Pilots for a few songs. Check it out ❤
lyrics ; The crowds roll by, and I'm falling in Everyone's invisible, but it's just pretend And we all freaked out, what a shame When only tears know how To remind us we all break the same We all break the same And we all break the same And everything we've built could be our demise It's the sticks and stones that wear us down That often save our lives And we all freaked out What a shame When only tears know how To remind us we all break the same We all break the same And we all break the same The different stars tonight Will somehow fade the same And all the tears we cry Tell us were made the same And when we fall aside Let's hope we fall in place We built our different lives But they all break the same Break the same Break the same We all do We all break the same And we all…
Okay this might sound dumb, but that little thing they all do when they end their songs and everyone jumps up.. I have been doing that for years now with my band ever since I saw them doing it. It just stuck with me… I love Mutemath 🥲
They wasn't ready for that! I wish I could have seen the looks on peoples faces who had no idea who Mutemath was!
Mute Math’s performance required that storm warning. When they played ACL in 2009, they were lightning in a bottle.

These guys are nothing short of phenomenal! Especially Darren King, on those drums!! Really wish I could have seen them in concert.

You aint lyin, the drummers goin hard. Clean and perfect tempo!
lmfao
Saw a full set on 2 different occasions and they were truly amazing, and I do mean amazing.
Man you missed out on great times. Still got videos though!
I keep coming back to this performance a few times a year. Just peak.
I know the audience was in total awe. They had never seen a performance like this on Cohan.
Easily one of the most awesome rock bands to come out in the last 10 years. This performance was sick!
I was there that day on the show. What an awesome performance! I had never heard of them before that day.
this song still deserves more that it has ever got.....amazing from day one.
God I love this so much
Amazing performance! That Fender Rhodes is getting a serious beating!

To this day in the year of our lord 2024, this is the best live performance Conan, if not all of late night TV.
They crushed live when they had Darren King ❤🎉
lyrics ;
The crowds roll by, and I'm falling in
Everyone's invisible, but it's just pretend
And we all freaked out, what a shame
When only tears know how
To remind us we all break the same
We all break the same
And we all break the same
And everything we've built could be our demise
It's the sticks and stones that wear us down
That often save our lives
And we all freaked out
What a shame
When only tears know how
To remind us we all break the same
We all break the same
And we all break the same
The different stars tonight
Will somehow fade the same
And all the tears we cry
Tell us were made the same
And when we fall aside
Let's hope we fall in place
We built our different lives
But they all break the same
Break the same
Break the same
We all do
We all break the same
And we all…
Epic still to this day 😂
I get so giddy seeing them perform, my Beatles
Great stuf!! Watch out for that T-Storm Newton County!
Drummer cold kickin it!
Major love!!!!
Conan just f'ing gets it
UNBELIEVABLE
Darren literally wished he had more hands to play the drums with. It really is a pity these guys split.
Ummmm….the best Live musical performance on television??? Ever???? 😮
Thunderstorm warnings indeed.
I hope everyone was okay in that T storm.
The warning or Darrens drumming?
Great drums
first thing we need is a song where I can do a handstand on my piano and then beat the crap out of it
I mean the song is awesome, but some of those towns are about to get hammered by that storm….
Conan was like... "Yeah that was uh... Mutemath... uh..."
he says "that was the best thing I've seen in a while" at the end
Holy spirit storm. #thunder
🕵🎶
Very late to this party, but is this the band Black Midi wish they were?
To paraphrase the old saying, Mutemath never sold many records, but every kid who bought one went out and started a band.
This is very good bait. Great work. Too bad no one is here to take it.
lmfao
@@phillipemery572 real talk.
