Thanks ! I was sooo looking for on how to apply RTV to a Keenovo pad. Not having done this before i was not sure how malleable the Silicon is. This video helped a lot to figure out how it will likely be. I'll have to glue the pad to an Alu casted bed. Would you reccomend as you did to apply the silicone to the pad rather then to the Alu bed, right ? ( i was thinking the opposite )
Was the IR thermometer going through the glass, reading the pad vs the thermistor reading the temperature of the glass? If so just mount the thermistor to the underside of the silicone pad? Saves modifying it if it works like I think
Yes, changing the position of the thermistor to the underside of the glass would have worked but the heating pad was already glued to the glass. The electronics mods where easier than tearing it all apart and possibly breaking the glass or damaging the heating pad.
Great video.
What if you use the hotend cooler on signal to turn the thermal bed on and off when you're done printing?

Fahrenheit?
Thanks bro 😌 , it's helpful a lot .
Please wiring setup tell me
Can you cut the mat to a different size?
No, the mats come in specific sizes. Cutting would damage the heating elements imbedded in the silicone mat.
The type of glass ?
Borosilicate
