Wow! Finally, it's a super simple description of how to do this. No diodes or complicated explanations. Thanks.

You did it perfectly, you can also put a manual valve on the gravity down to slow the box when it has a heavy load or open the valve to allow more oil through when it is cold. I always thought gravity down was better but you hear everyone bragging about their power down lol good job

Amazing. Very descriptive and slow and easy. Thank you

Wired as you show but my pump motor surges on and off rather than maintain a constant lift. What’s causing this?

Bad ground... All fixed and works great!

If I wanted power down. I would put the white wire on the power down and eliminate the jump wire?

This wiring Method Works perfectly if you have a dump trailer that is power up and gravity down. If your trailer is Power up and gravity down you do not need the diodes. However If your trailer is power up and power down you will need To use the diodes. So in that case use the instruction video Which Instructs you to use the diodes.

      Where do we find that?

My wiring is different. Black, brown, blue, geen (striped) My wires are also tiny compared to what you have there.

So I got this wired up today power up gravity down. How do I get power down? When I gravity down all of my fluid came shooting out of the reservoir cap.

I agree this is a problem I don’t recommend the gravity down at all!! There is another video out that shows you how to do power down it uses diods it’s same harbor freight remote I’m doing mine now

Do you know what size the fuse is on the signal box?

      20mm 3.5 amp

I cannot get mine to work. I can get it to only go down. If I reverse, I can only get it to go up.

I would keep the wired controller in there
In the moment you need it most the batteries in the remote will die

I believe you got your selonoid backwards

Need some diodes buddy. Put diodes on the up and down jumpers over to the pump. Then it won’t back feed
