    i belong to the USA spay and release for cats feral and abandoned strays. so i have an issue, because of pandemic and spca closed doors to accepting patients or litters for adoption and the waiting time on the list for usa spay release i couldnt round up the feral and stray cats running all thru out my woods and farm which btw is main hwy frontage with many creeks and im assuming thats why i see so many people stopping and putting litters out beside the hwy, pregnant mothers and b4 pandemic i never had the massive problem as now, having to hold on to these females thru their pregnancies or there litters maturing and becoming pregnant. so i just had 6 females deliver litters, these are stray and half feral which is fine because the entire point of the spay usa is they have to be released back into the wild however the litter i feel needs be be inside since i have numerous preditors lurking about also these litters will be up for adoption and they wont have a chance finding a home if a person cant pick it up and constaantly scratched and bit by a kitten raised outside in the wild so now i have 20 kittens inside my non inside cat house and the 6 mothers. all females delivered days to a week apart from each other & now they are running all over my house.. they arent all wheened yet. some are 3 months now and other 8 to 10 weeks???? ive lost count. last week i noticed one of the mommas had diarrhea, i thought it was bc i changed food, and she also had 7 kittens and they just were sucking her dry. so i watched her closely, then her sister started with it also and i had been watching for worms, which after weeks i finally have seen them which i believe they are hookworms or whip worms. i cant take any to a vet, this is a volunteer group and i just catch, set appointment , carry females to spca and bring back to my farm and set free again. some stay now and then, some leave, but at least they will not be bringing unwanted or cared for babies into this already over populated and neglected kittens we had bc of irresponsible people who think theyre so cute and their children want one but they dont want to be responsible or even human beings and take care of them and they wind up at places like mine dumped on the side of a hwy. its horrible, ive seen people throwing kittens out the car window while still moving. im sorry i got of tract. so all these females are sisters and the mother that started it all that is so wild i still cant get close to her. the sisters all nurse each others kittens. its amusing really and i have no ideal whos is whos anymore and now ive noticed a few kittens have diarrhea. i have no income to buy food so spca will give me some however with this many i stuck with ive had to ask friends to help now and then while im waiting for them to start on food and females accepted. females milk has to be dried up b4 they can be spayed. so with no money and 23 kittens and 6 mommas. i cant afford to even take a fecal sample by any vet without being charged office visit and testing and then prescription for dewormer and diarrhea for 28 cats. ive been seaching high and low on the net for dewormers for this moms and babies also a quad dewormer and all has to be either free would be great for me especially since they arent my cats but i try to do what i can as with everything in life bc there are already way to many people that just turn their heads to helping anyone or anything other then themselves and it rubs off on others as well just like a pandemic. people just stopped caring and loving one another anymore. its sad. anyway is there a product i can give these mommas and the diff age and size kittens for diarrhea, also a dewormer that hopefully cover all 4 worms for moms and kittens also. i need to do something but honestly with no income and very little retirement savings left it needs to work as well as cost effective for my funds. i live basically of grid and grow and raise my food for year round. its just me so it doesnt take much. any suggestions i would be so great ful bc until i finally came across your website all ive heard is bring them in, run test, and theres nothing over the counter i could use for nursing moms and babies. I KNOW THERE HAS TO BE SINCE I DO HAVE ANIMALS ON MY FARM I HAVE TO WORM BUT THATS ENTIRELY DIFF THEN THESE LITTLE DELICATE MOMS AND BABIES. THANK YOU.
    SHERRY....

      Lean, with diarrhea, we recommend to give a probiotic 2-3 times a day. Diarrhea usually will clear up in 48/72 hrs, If it lasts longer, I would take a stool sample to your vet. Ask them to do a PCR test. This test will tell if the issues is being caused by a parasite, bacterial, viral or other reason. Sheryl at Revival.

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good morning Josselyne, I so sorry to hear your puppy is having an issue with diarrhea. I would first recommend taking a stool sample to your local vet and ask them to do a PCR test. This will provide you with the information on what is causing the diarrhea. Whether it's bacterial, viral or other such as giardia or coccidia so it can be treated properly. The test isn't expensive for them to do. I would also recommend to give the puppy some electrolytes to replenish lost body fluids. Pedialyte in the childrens section can be purchased, just mix it 50% water with 50% pedialyte. Also a probiotic in the food will help reduce diarrhea> here's the link for our GI synbiotics> www.revivalanimal.com/product/doc-roys-gi-synbiotics?sku=60365-1143. Adding pumpkin puree to the food can also help with digestion and diarrhea. These things can help your puppy for now until you get the test results. Once you have the results you'll be able to treat the cause of the diarrhea. Sheryl at Revival.

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good morning Charlene Santos, it is normal for an animal to have a little diarrhea when taking an antibiotic. Antibiotics are expelled from the body through the intestines. When they're expelled, they also will take any good bacteria in the gut out which is the reason for the cause of the diarrhea. Adding a probiotic to the diet, such as the GI Synbiotics 2-3 times a day, will help reduce the diarrhea. I would also recommend an electrolyte, such as the Puppy Lyte to help replenish lost body fluids. Sheryl at Revival.

      Good morning My Only Rose, We recommend to give puppies and electrolyte first to replenish lost body fluids. We also recommend a probiotic to help with digestion and to reduce diarrhea. Should you let a puppy with diarrhoea feed as normal?

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good morning Renee Nay nay nay, Puppies will sometimes get diarrhea when mom's milk is coming in good and they over eat. For overeating diarrhea, we give electrolytes, such as Breeders' Edge® Puppy or Kitten Lyte to fill their tummies so they feel full and back off nursing. That usually solves it. We also recommend giving puppies the GI synbiotics. The probiotic will help with digestion and also reduce diarrhea> here's the link for you> www.revivalanimal.com/product/doc-roys-gi-synbiotics?sku=60365-493. Sheryl at Revival.

    Have a litter of 5 week old puppies and they have diarrhea what can I give them to stop/ harden their stools thanks

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good morning Vlr213, I would recommend first to give an electrolyte to help replenish lost body fluids and a probiotic to help with digestion and reduce diarrhea. If the diarrhea continues, then I would recommend to take a stool sample to your vet and ask for a PCR test to determine the cause of the diarrhea, whether it's bacterial, viral, giardia, coccidia, or other. My puppy is 7 weeks, has been having diarrhea for about 1 week not sure if it is the puppy formula I am feeding him, what can help ? Can I give him probiotics? He has remained been playful and eating the formula

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good afternoon Noemi, I would recommend to add a little more water to the formula, this will also help to reduce loose stools. When giving the probiotic, we recommend to give the gi synbiotics gel 2-3 times a day to help reduce diarrhea and to also help with digestion. Diarrhea is usually cleared up in 2-3 days, if its been longer, I would recommend taking a stool sample to your vet and ask them to do a PCR test. This will let you know what is causing the diarrhea. Whether is viral, bacterial, giardia, coccidia or other so it can be treated properly. Sheryl at Revival.

      Good morning Roma Gadiana, We recommend to first give puppies an electrolyte to replenish lost body fluids. Here's the link for the Puppy Lyte> www.revivalanimal.com/product/breeders-edge-puppy-lyte-kitten-lyte?sku=63270-498. We also recommend the Doc Roy's GI Synbiotics. This both a prebiotic and probiotic. It will help reduce the diarrhea and also helps with digestion. Here's the link> www.revivalanimal.com/product/doc-roys-gi-synbiotics?sku=60365-493. The vets in NH are useless. I can't find a vet that actually cares about their patients.
