- Damansara Utama state assemblyperson Yeo Bee Yin could not help but choke back tears as she announced her decision to contest in Johor.
Yeo who is from Segamat told some 1,000 people present at her book launch "Reimagining Malaysia" yesterday night that she had decided to accept the party's suggestion to move out from the constituency and move out to Johor to contest there.
Highly respected woman. We need more people like you in Malaysia.

Feel sad to leave her constituents after many years of working for them, can't control tears up her eye having to say goodbye to all her supporters from Damansara Utama in the coming election, unable to serve you all in the coming year anymore. I know it is going to be a tough battle ground in Johore for you, it is an Umno stronghold southern state, very difficult for any opposition party to attack, not even mention higher chance to spend time in prison as opposition party candidate. It sure take a lot of personal commitment and courage for her take on that challenge.

and 4 years later, she left Johor (Bakri) and went back to Selangor (Puchong) and the same tears started streaming down
She is now married and has 3 kids - husband and children all living in Selangor.

I don't think it's a good idea for politicians to behave like nomads and move from one constituency to another constituency once they have built up rapport with her supporters there.I think a politician should only relocate if he or she can't win or has no confidence in re-election in his or her constituency.Why play musical chairs when you have a secured win in a constituency that you have already put in some hard work for the past 4 to 8years.
I hope the party has a good strategy. I hope it's not to give up her Base for a parachute candidate! All newcomers should be made to build up a base on their own merit. We didn't see the old party stalwarts changing their Base every five years
