LKQ Corporation was founded because a need was realized for a sustainable future for vehicles at their end-of-life. Today it is the largest recycler of vehicles in the world, and its North American business contributes to a circular economy by recycling more than 90% of the materials from the vehicles the company procures that would otherwise ending up in landfills.
