Hello, first of all, greetings from Argentina, I want to pass me on to sony, I am a canon user, but today I am in a great dilemma, I don't know if the A7RIII is worth it when the A7IV is there, I only take pictures of animals, sports, portrait photos, products. Today almost reaching 2023, is it really worth A7RIII or should I go for A7IV?
Good question! Personally i haven’t used the R7 but it looks like a great camera. It’s really fast and has a good price! The Sony is a bit more expensive but it has a larger sensor. So both are good options, personally I would go with the Sony for the extra quality
That is a hard question! Depends on the type of shots you want to take! But for someone starting out I would probably recommend something like a 24-70mm or similar. Just to cover a larger span. And would look for something with a lower aperture to get a lens that is better in lower light! 🤗
I had a A7Rii with a faulty shutter, I could only use it in silent mode, Had terrible battery life but usable with the battery grip. I bought a brand new Sony A7c and love that camera both for photos and video. after using it for some time I found out that I really missed the 44mp sensor and the viewfinder. So I found a used A7Riii in almost mint condition. I love that camera. I will keep on using my A7c for travel and video and might take it with me if I know I will be shooting in poor light, (Not sure if its better than A7rii in low light yet)
Had no idea the a7Rii had those problems! But I am glad you have found a setup that works! The A7c looks really nice. Would love to try one. I think it could be a good “daily” camera
@@martinwikestad yes the A7Rii shutter could only be used indoors or when it's warm outside, living in Iceland made it unusable. A7Riii I love. no problems what so ever and the battery life is much improved.
@@martinwikestad Yes ! The RIV have much better resolution of the sensor, better grib, better EVF - you cannot get back to a Camera with less resolution of the EVF. But if 42 MP are enough for you the R3 are a very good choice, it has just been on offer in Europe for 1550 Euros new. which are close to secondhand prices !
Hey man, That´s interesting! I compared it with previous cameras i have had and felt like it was worse. But you have a point, Would be interesting to do some testing of the battery life on a few of the newer cameras! 😀

I think that the A7iv is propably the better option for most people! Maybe not for everyone but the A7IV is really good!

The Sony A7RIII are a great Camera in 2022 and will be for years ! I had the A7RIII, but now I use A7RIV and A7RIVA
