I present the process of creating parts based on the original. Very often I get requests to show how to cast parts from resin or other materials. In this video I make wheels and tires for matchbox models.

Excellent video. The only thing I will comment on is the mixture of the pink compound. I believe it should have been mixed a little more thoroughly....the white streaks throughout the mixture slows down the cure time. It should be a uniform pink.

Of course you are right but with pink hardening time it is still very fast in the worst case after four hours everything is very hard Regards

Jak wypada średnica kopii w porównaniu z oryginałem? Chodzi mi o pomiar np. suwmiarką. Czy taka metoda kopiowania nie będzie miała jakiegoś skurczu w porównaniu do oryginału?

Skurcz nie występuje. Tak jak widać na filmie stosuję pierścienie aby śr. wew była mniejsza .Wtedy opona lepiej się trzyma na osi . Pozdrawiam

loose tires can it be mounted to the model but on the rims you have to give rings so that the tires do not fly. Regards

What is the blue stuff u use for the mold

This is the same silicone as pink only with a blue activator. Pink dries in 3 hours and blue in six. the molding silicone is called mm940. you can buy it online

if the wheels are made of soft rubber, yes, but if they are plastic, then they need to be cast from polyurethane resin

Sehr schönes Video über deine Arbeit bei der Erstellung von Resinrädern. Es zeigt auch die gewisse Sorgfalt die für ein gutes Ergebnis gebraucht wird. Da könnte der Eine oder Andere Kleinserienhersteller sich bestimmt etwas abschauen.

Bardzo fajny film o twojej pracy przy tworzeniu Resinrädern. Pokazuje także pewną ostrożność potrzebną do uzyskania dobrego rezultatu. Ponieważ jeden lub drugi producent niewielkich serii z pewnością mógłby wyglądać nieco inaczej.
