Thank you for your kind comment.
At this air show there was also many German fighters. You can see them in my uploads "Legendary Fighters".
The Corsair did an emergency landing because the pilot noticed a problem with the gear. That was the reason why he land on grass instead of the concrete runway.
Best regards, RCSA
RCScaleAirplanes thank you for this
Thanks Buck ツ
I hope that this year will be as good as the last, and that I am able to make some nice videos of the great events.
Best regards, Horst
I love the sound of the large RC planes its something that gets really missed by the smaller RC's.
Nothing to do with scale, really. It is about the engine type. There are plenty of large rc planes that sound like shit.
@@lanesplitter8723 even the small radials don't sound good, id have to say the worst are the 2 strokes lol flying chainsaws
@@cloaked2562 I have a small radial and it sounds substantially better than a two stroke. But I agree if you're talking, say, a 1/6 scale you're almost better off with a single 4 stroke. It makes a frontier, more realistic sound.
Thanks Pete for your kind comment.
The P-47 lost the lower fuselage cover. At 3:48 you can see very well which piece is missing.
Many thanks for your kind comment.
You're right. Most exhaust systems are modified for two reasons:
1- to fit into the plane
2- to give it a special sound
If you like to see a video of those Moki's, have a look on my video of the biplane UDET where the engine is not covered.
Many thanks, Roman for comming back after 5 month with such a great comment. Much appreciated !!!
I've been in Ohio in the late 70's ... it's a nice plane to live !!!
Best regards, Horst
You're doing right, Jaron. Many young pilots came from the SIM to the modellers airplane and they are good on the sticks.
Thanks my friend. Yes this was the last flight of the Corsair at this day.
Thank you James. You're right ... the sound of those birds are awesome. I think that the audio quality is near to the original one.
Best regards my friend
Horst
Thank you for your kind comment!
The "hard landing" of the Corsair was due to a retract gear problem, which the pilot noticed during the flight and therefore he decided to land in the grass. No big damage at the plane.
Best regards, RCSA
Thank you !!!
All are 1/4 scale. For the engines used please read the video description.
Many thanks for your kind compliments.
Thank you very much for your compliments. Much appreciated.
I am sure that these pilots occasionally look at this video and they are happy to receive such great comments!!!
Many thanks.

I watched your video "Gears working on F4U.MOV " and the gears on your Corsair are working well ツ
The Navy Corsair... the sexiest airplane, ever!!
Idk. The p-47 thunderbolt looks like a flying milk jug....... my type
I fully agree. I never thought I could be aroused by a machine. But I touched a Corsair and felt quite stimulated. It is an amazingly beautiful aircraft.
I think there is nothing quite as enjoyable to watch as a group of friends who all follow the same passion. What beautiful planes as well!
Thank you so much for your fantastic comment, which I really appreciate.
Good luck also to you ... and if you are a Rc Modeller, always ahppy landings.
Best regards from RCSA
The time in building and attention to detail, is where you find yourself daydreaming like a kid in school. Seeing your self in the cockpit, flipping switches and doing your checklist. seeing it fly is just the frosting on the cake, for all the work.
Great stuff.
Many thanks. The "hard landing" was due to a retract gear problem, which the pilot noticed during the flight and therefore he decided to land in the grass. No big damage at the plane.
You're always welcome, Roy. ... Thanks for your tumbs UP !!!
Many thanks for your great comment which I really appreciate.

Thank you very much for your compliments, which I greatly appreciate.
Many thanks Ryan for your kind comment.
Sounds from the miniature IC engines are addictive. Great great job on these miniature masterpieces. Thank you.👍👍
Mein Herz vibriert, traumhafter Film für Augen und Ohren.... Daumen hoch!
Some of the best RC warbird footage Ive seen (and Ive seen a lot).
_THANKS !!!_
Thank you very much, Jason for your great comment which I really appreciate.
Stay tuned for the newest video of a great event of last weekend ... you will ♥ it !!!
Thanks for your nice comment, which I greatly appreciate. Best regards, RCSA
Thanks my friend for your kind comment. Glad to see you here at the smaller warbirds ツ
The Corsair survived with several small scratches.
b.regards, Horst
For the engines used please read the video description. Scale props are very expensive and they are not always suitable to implement the engine power in a sufficient forward motion.
Those large scale radial engines sound superb!
Many thanks Philippe for your great comment. It's always a pleasure to read it.
Best regards, Horst
Thanks for your kind comment. Yes, the white Corsair was flying again at the same day.
Many thanks for your kind comment !
This was beautiful .. .well done video ... cant believe the landing gear folded in on the last corsair
Thank you Mike for your cool comment.
Best regards, RCSA
WOW!!! BEAUTIFUL FLYING GUYS!! That Corsair with the B on the tail is SWEET!!!! It sounds better than ALL of them. So scale...

Beautiful to watch these war birds! Shame there was no spit ! That would have been the icing on the cake for me!👍🏼
Great show!
K on the tail means Air group 3 which flew in Korea from CV-32, the Leyte. My squadron was VA-35 with AD-3,s (Skyraiders).
Thank you for your comment and for linking this video you your club page.
You have a nice area to fly ツ
Thanks again ... cheers, Horst
hi horst,
awesome vid with truly gorgeous aircraft and sounds,
what came off the p47 half way through the vid ?
not nice seeing a big bird drop her undercarriage like that, glad not too much damage,
regards pete,
What was wrong with the landings?
That weekend there was a serious headwind, making it difficult to estimate the landing speed. As you may know, Rc warbirds generally prefer to land at the grass, because after touchdown on asphalt is difficult to control the aircraft.
You`re right ... the landing gear did not lock.
Yes, they sounds great. Many thanks Kevin !
Many thanks David. Much appreciated !!!
Thanks Klaus for your great comment.
LG, Horst
Absolutely beautiful!!! Those corsairs look amazing!
you're right ... it's also mentioned in the video description.
Thank you very much for your compliments. Much appreciated.
Maybe you will find them in another place. There are many Rc clubs in Malaysia. Regards, RCSA
Thanks for your nice comment, which I greatly appreciate.
ahhh yes the belly pan as we call it over here,
nice vid mate keep em coming,
I agree with so many of the others here that the sound of the engines is "MAGICAL" - not the 2-stroke or electric sound but a "CORRECT" sound for these radial-engined classics. I must ask if these were scratch-built or are they giant scale kits? Either way, KUDOS for a labor of love!
Geez , that was just awesome viewing , gonna watch it again right now! well done.
Technical problems can occur from time to time. Fortunately the plane was only slightly damaged and flew again the next day.
You might be right, but ... as I mentioned in the video description, these five pilots from three different countries have never flown together.
Many thank's Steve !!!
Thank you for your kind comment, which I really appreciate.
Best regards, RCSA
Thank you Tim for your great comment, which I really appreciate. ... Horst
No surprise at all. I was simply observing that when the very best and most talented RC builders in Europe gather to show off their largest and best RC aircraft- they all have iconic U.S. designs. Nothing implied.......;-)
Besten Dank Markus für Deinen tollen Kommentar und den "Daumen hoch"!
Beautiful planes! Skillful piloting as well.
those moki radial engines sound incredible!
They all sound so good. Great job.
Thanks ! ... for the model data please read the video description.
Gruss, Horst
Many thanks for your great comment !
Thanks for your kind comment, which I greatly appreciate.
Wonderful Horst! I particularly liked the music intro, it was a very nice touch. I hope this year brings terrific things for you and yours.
Hallo Horst
Immer wieder Toll, was du aus deinen Kameras zauberst!!
Freue mich schon auf die Wiederholung.
Lg Franz
Great video. Those birds sound awesome at wide open throttle.
Dayumm , what a great show
And yes , they gorgeous sound is amazing too
You Men have the very best collection of R/C aircraft I've seen anywhere and the sounds are truly incredible .. My hat is off to you on your workmanship !!!!!
Thank you Romão for your kind comment. Good to know, you like it !!!
Awesome flying guys, planes look so real.
That was beautiful, thank you!
That is the best video I have watched on TH-cam in a long time! Thanks for posting!
Truly awesome! So many top end planes putting on display not to mention the audible symphony that is the radial engine, I took the landing gear off my P 47 last week, I felt his pain!
Thank you Gerry for your comment.
so much grace all at one time!! beautiful!!
_Thank you !_
Awesome as always,thank you.
Letztes Jahr war die Feuertaufe und dieses Jahr wird's vermutlich noch besser.
Thank you !
Thank you for your kind comment, which I really appreciate.
Best Video I've seen this week !

Best regards, RCSA
AWESOME PLANES JUST LOVE IT. THANKS FOR SHARING.
I don't care much for war but i Love those planes thanx for sharing!!
Many thanks !
Thanks Steve.
I have to contact the pilot to ask him for the engine data. As far as I could see, it's a 2 cylinder boxer.
WHOA, I can see myself waking up on the couch and hearing this.. Then running into the back yard looking for my AA gun.. Geez, they sound real.. Dang shame on the wheels folding.. Great video..
Danke Achim. Das war mein erster Versuch, die Piloten mit ins Geschehen einzubeziehen. Freut mich, dass es Dir gefällt ツ
Viele Grüße, Horst
These are brilliantly made and very well flown, good work.
You're always welcome Chad. TH-cam does not allow to post a link in a comment. That's why I gave you only the end of the link.
You can find the video on searching my uploaded videos. Sort the list on "oldest first" and you will see it as my 2nd upload. Have fun !!!
No problem at all.
Yes, many vids are blocked in germany due to music copyright violations :(
