Thanks for taking time to make this helped me save a lot of money!! Screw what the haters are saying !! If people don't like the video don't watch it !!
Thanks for the video young man it was very informative and it helps a great deal to know what's intailed when you tackle a task like remove a ignition switch lock with or without keys. keep up the good work my friend. cgiles iii
I almost dies at 1:23,dropped the blunt between the seats as well..."oh Fuck it", I live by that theory!!! lmao, thanks for posting.I looked everywhere but couldn't find a single thread or video about which way the bearings go...I just stuck mine in and shoved the wheel on...guess I will be taking it back apart and using the compression tool you had there to do it right...
@johnh6791 u got the bearings then a silver ring that sit in between them.. then another piece.. then the spring... do u just let the silver ring sit in between the bearings freely cause mine was pressed onto the stem.. but I can't get it back around it..
Bitchen fucking video !! All the ones on here . I did this shit 3 times becouse I dint get it right . Firs got everything back in the ignition switch was not set in place there this one metal thing looks like a flat mushroom . That attaches to the rod in the column that turns the car on . Second I dint put the back bearing . Took it all off again . By this time I got good and third but not least I put the part he pulls out at 9:55 it like a dish I thought the spring sat in it . So wen I put it together the actual steering wheel was fucking loose as a goose . . Thanks for this amazing video and the detail . Man the detail . Mentioning every part seems boring but wen you in the mix and are sitting with the steering wheel on your hands and under pressure becouse the whole colum decided to take a shit after dinner at night in Los Feliz ca . Oh man thank you video man 👍👍🌍👍👌🛠🔩. For the record the pins that come out the sides like Frankenstein 🎃 the thread are grade 8 --32 thread . Great video here how to make that tool----. Thanks for the video ! The Short version comment
and yes it's a plastic cage around the bearings....go GMC! lmao it will snap the outer ring off with just a nudge... be extremely careful when messing with this piece..!!!
i hate watching 10-15 minute videos to get 2 minutes worth of info. maybe i process information faster than most but i dont need a 10 second pause between sentences. lets get shit done!
Thanks for posting this, only video I've found that has that damn linkeage in the extra box on the side.

@@youngjj757 Mine must have been worn and easier to remove and replace. Maybe you can use a deep socket or a piece of pipe to tap it back into place.
My key won't go to the lock position or go back to acc position

Problem so far with the videos is everyone blows right past the Hazard button removal. off.
Opps, duh, it has a screw. I've gone this far without breaking anything getting the cylinder out.
