Is the United States of America one of the countries exempt from medical examination when applying for permanent residency? Or does that only count towards temporary residency of over 6 months?

Good day. Is there any specific requirement for vision as I have low vision in both eyes and it cannot be improved through glasses. I can do all my routine work without any assistance. I'm doing a job and I can drive as well during the day. The medications I use require not more than $5 a month. My condition is also not contagious.
