Funny- we have lots of new people in Atlantic Canada but churches down here ignore the opportunity to reach out to them. But then, they ignore the drop of numbers in churches here. Population of Moncton, NB: 160,000 ...16 baptist churches averaging about 100 people= 1,600 ... or 1% of the area. Good thing we have Glad Tidings and the Wesleyans so as to triple that number. But if we were to reach out to new arrivals ... we could easily reach 7% or 8% of this area. We cannot even reach long time residents.
