Bit confused here. My wife and her son did an upfront medical exam (panel physician) in Oct. 2022. Wife has an open work permit now good until Dec. 2024. Why would IRCC send me an email few days ago regarding IMM 1017 form; surely, they don't need to go through another medical exam. I am going to visit the original panel physician as well, to try and get some clarity on this. IRCC already received the previous medical results and there were no issues noted. Is this perhaps related to applying for a PR card as well as the work permit?
hello, I had my biometic done in Nepal. I went to IOM where medical exam is done.They asked me for IME number for booking medical date. i didn't know that it would required .I checked in my portal, there was only UCI and Applicant number. how to get IME number for medical booking?

I had second medical for canada my x ray was abnormal they gave me appointment next day that day I was sick and my covid test was positive when I called them to give me another appointment they told me they send it to canada . now I don't know what I do?

I received a Furtherance letter for medical exam . I called the clinic where I performed my medical exam but they said they should receive the note first from CIC regarding the additional testing. So it seems that CIC already asked me to do additional medical tests but in my the clinic said they cannot find anything yet in my eMedical file what should I do

I m PNP candidate through express entry outland. I recently got my eye injured accidentally and lost central vision. Can we do upfront medical exam after submitting the Canada work permit visa application
Generally speaking, the concept of upfront medical exam is to do it before application.
Hello i applied October 2020 for PR as a Québec skill worker with my family and my 6 years old son passport will soon be expired and dont think that we can renew as the Embassy that is in Canada dont offer the service of renewing the passports but they offer à vérification letter asking IRCC to procced with the applicant.
The questions for you would be does IRCC as the passport in the end of the procces?

Hi, I applied for permanent residency through spousal sponsorship within Canada. I just received the IMM 1017E form, I am a British Citizen, when I go online it says that I do not need a medical exam from the UK. Im abit confused at this point.
Generally speaking, medical exam is mandatory for PR applications regardless of your nationality.

I have a very unique situation with my Application!
I have submitted my application in CEC express entry on 6 march, 2020.
I had few updates in my account regarding medical results before.But, last Thursday(27 May,2021) when I checked my account medical status changed to ' We are reviewing your medical results '.
I called CIC customer support center on Friday and they told me that my spouse's(non accompanying) medical is expired and they are about to send new medical request for her. Agent also suggested to do upfront medical for her. Then I called few panel physician locations that afternoon and luckily got an appointment for Monday.
When we came home after finishing her medical. After 1 hour there was a request letter for her medical.
Now I am really confused about what to do next!
Should I submit upfront medical receipt using web form or do a new medical with the IME number mentioned in the letter?

@@Mr129060 That IME number is unique for each application. Depending on your application type IRCC might extend your medical for another year (inland CEC), if you are main applicant.
