Love your videos for Talespire building tips! FYI: There is another unfinished Fog of War under Settings > Other Settings > Fog of War Tech Demo. Set an unused keybind, ie: [ or ]. When in Build mode, use the Multiselect tool to highlight the room/area, then use the keybind for the Fill region with Fog. It will fill your selection with black area/boxes. Players can reveal by line of sight and the area will auto-adjust with jagged lines to keep inside rooms/walls hidden. Downside is that even the GM cannot see in that area until the player reveals it (or extreme zoom in to see past the barrier wall in the black section).
Awesome as always. Regarding links 06:55, did you know that you can attach a link to the mini. First copy the URL to clipboard, then turn on the GM overlay (Tab), hit paste Ctrl V and your cursor turns into a link symbol. Click on the mini and you will have linked that URL to that mini. To retrieve the link simply right click and you will see a link symbol on the radial and there you have it, its great to use if you have an online sound you wish to play for the monsters roar or ambience for a scene.
I learned new things as always! Awesome! 00:00 Intro 01:30 Use TaleTavern 02:16 Check any Imported Maps for NPCs 04:04 Hidden Treasures or Secret Doors 05:16 Stats Wheel for NPCs + Enemies 05:52 Setting up Combat Encounters 06:37 Invisible Reminders 07:19 Keep Extra NPCs within Reach 08:20 Hide Volumes 09:09 Atmosphere Settings 10:47 No time to Prep? Trap a door!
I hate using it, it’s slowing down the release because I keep second guessing the ethics and it lowers my motivation to keep working. I appreciate the thumbs up though, most people seem to feel that way so it’s encouraging feedback to get. ❤️
One way to avoid repetitiveness in atmospheric sound is to have a second sound source playing a different track (noise without music) of a different length.
Yeah, totally - though it wouldn't transfer Minis, that way - only building pieces. You would have to place any minis required by that space after moving the chunk
Not quite - I have a video on my channel to show how to play it with just one copy, but somewhat recently BouncyRock added a concept called "Seats," where rather than buy a full copy people can add seats to their version to accommodate players without it.

Wish I could pin more than one comment! I’ll put this in a future vid

As an artist I want to say that it was delightful to see that disclaimer about AI art in your book. Good luck with your future endeavours!

That last tip, hahahah. So these are your secrets to running your famously flawless sessions
Always helpful with your Talespire knowledge sharing
Love this video!
These tips definitely do help out alot. Thanks
Is it possible to lake a modular map with lots of chunks, and move them out of the dark zones one by one like a puzzle depending on what players do?
Yeah, totally - though it wouldn't transfer Minis, that way - only building pieces. You would have to place any minis required by that space after moving the chunk
Don't all players also have to own the software to play?
Not quite - I have a video on my channel to show how to play it with just one copy, but somewhat recently BouncyRock added a concept called "Seats," where rather than buy a full copy people can add seats to their version to accommodate players without it.
