Why would the DM have to pay, but the players not? Just have the players pay for their own copy if you all like the program. If you and your players don't have the money, use something free.

All these suggestions seem to create a lot of objects to render. This seems a very inefficient way to make 3D models.

I'm giving a comment mostly to help this get around more, and also to show I have hope for things to get better. It's truly awful what's been happening and I hate how overshadowed it's been.

Just to note, the comment about Isobel Yeung being "as stern as possible without being directly confrontational" requires the additional context that the interview was taking place in Russia, where even within the last week a foreign journalist had been arrested. There were significant risks being taken even by going to Russia, let alone by actually taking someone in power and trying to hold their feet to the fire. The fact that she wasn't directly confrontational shows restraint for her safety and that of her team, as well as great tact in how she approached the questions to properly expose the subject.

I have mild ADHD and when I start really role playing I go into tunnel mode, in 3 hours later I wonder why all the other players want to take a break to go to the bathroom after only what feels like about 15 minutes subjective time.😅

Can you show us a prompt of how you got the map at 2:04? How did you get that color and art style? I thought to use "water color" in my prompt, but it doesn't seems to be so. I find the biggest issue with generating battle maps is the AI love to put the grid lines on the map even when I told it not to. I also tried to ask the map from a top-down angle, so the grid on Roll20 would lay properly, but it just randomly does it at whatever angle it likes.

Imagine putting this shit ton of work into the map and your party just refuses to enter the spooky cathedral and instead spend 3 sessions getting that abandoned tavern they slept in back up and running.

I was just looking into this, good news the dm can now buy seats so the players can be free guests, bad news it's like 20 bucks a seat, so the average group is going to cost the dm $100, good news it's permanent so compared to something like roll20 pro which is a subscription it will be cheaper if you continue to use it for at least a year, and lets be honest, even with the bugs this looks way better than roll 20 pro.
