Studies show that the more attractive you are, the more you get away with and the more is handed to you. Attractive woman get better treatment overall. When I talk to a woman that has covered up, I'm forced to judge her by her character and not by her looks. The Hijab forces men and woman alike to judge woman by their intelligence and character and not looks and curves.

Most of women who question about hijab don't feel like wanna cover their beauty. They wanna show it to all people. But most of Muslim women wear hijab because of their own willingness. Actually, It goes both way but it stress on the women side because they hold the key. Nowadays, it's hard for man to lower their gazes because everywhere you go to do some business of yours, you will find that temptation all over the places even a little, such as from bank, restaurant, market, hall, on the street, or any places except that you live alone in the forest.
You are not forced to look at any woman in a lustful way. Just like Women are attracted to men too, but they also can choose to lust after a man or not. No one is forcing men to lust after a woman who is not fully covered. It's equally as hard for women to not lust over a man.

He loves our women that he gave us a formula of what to do and what not do and we either listen or not. Statistics do show that in Islamic countries or in countries where women dress with Modesty, rate of molestation is very low compared to those countries where women dress in a provocative way. Just 50 years back, this problem was much less even in Westerns countries just because clotting trends were not so edgy back then. Sounds a lot like the blame game. They have always existed, not just in the west. Also, The west only popularized those inventions because of the culture of free enterprise. In Islam there's no concept of holier than thou . Women were required to keep their veils even when talking to Prophets. If you study history you will realize that concept of people wearing immodest clothes came from Western movements of liberty. But if you look at Eastern countries like China and India the concept of people wearing modest clothes existed in their cultures irrespective of their religion.

West and East is purly Geographical terms, I think the terms developed from the Medieval age, where the Empire towards the West i.e the Roman Empire being the biggest empire that side of the worlds has seen. Then you have the east where it is the Eastern side of the world (mapwise) i.e the Islamic Empire that came after the Persians. Something like that I guess. Again this is my own kinda logic put into it, However, nowadays, it is clear that by west we mean Europe and US mainly since they are in the western side of the world. And to address your point about Liberation, it is a tricky think, in fact some opinions state that there is no such thing as freedom, a person is born free but chained everywhere, meaning you are always going to be a slave of something in your life. The point Mr Deedat is making that hijab and modest clothing are meant to instill moral and ethical mind when looking at opposite sex, when you said these have a problem with every country you forgot 2 things... sexualising woman has spread around the globe, especially more so by Western advertisement and media. Statistics do show that in Islamic countries or in countries where women dress with Modesty, rate of molestation is very low compared to those countries where women dress in a provocative way. Just 50 years back, this problem was much less even in Westerns countries just because clotting trends were not so edgy back then. Having said that, Sick people are everywhere and in every age, but Ahmed Deedat was referring to general trends and you can verify these statistics anytime.

As per Islam hijab is when you pray or when meeting "stranger" men, And Btw in Quran its specificed that once the women is an elderly you don't have to wear any cover up so it's only partial part of women life, further more you are free to ask any Muslim women you know if she's forced to do so and the answer will be no.. Even in countries like the US Muslim women still wear hijab so it is a "choice" .. To be a Muslim is a choice as well.. However some Arab "tribes" like the tribes in Saudi, do force restrictions on women due to traditions not due to Islam, since they used to oppress women even before mohammed pbuh.. What I know is that 9 year old girls have to wear hijab in some, maybe most, Muslim countries. Certaintly well before they are adults, i.e. 18 or 21 years old.

bro, such things started from western countries only. when we were small, elders used to say that. Nowdays, such practices has spread all over the world. Just like wearing coat, which is a western thing, nowadays, everywhere in the world people wear coats which is a british or american dress. Also, another example is English language. In past every body had rheir own languages. Now English is seen as a compulsory language for everyone in the world. So thats why Ahmed deedat said that even women's wearing clothes half naked is a trend brought up by westerns for sure... Only now it is seen in many countries. So of course western people have influenced others to live like that (which is unhealthy). since you are brought up in Canada, i think you might not know or understand this well.
btw, I'm not saying that the westerns are only the reason for other countries to adapt such lifestyle. Because for example indians were very modesty and used to cover their body well and maintained healthy lifestyle. Sounds a lot like the blame game. They have always existed, not just in the west. Also, The west only popularized those inventions because of the culture of free enterprise. If you check history you would see the inventions if flying devices among other things were created in the middle east other parts of the world. In Islam there's no concept of holier than thou . Women were required to keep their veils even when talking to Prophets.
If you study history you will realize that concept of people wearing immodest clothes came from Western movements of liberty. But if you look at Eastern countries like China and India the concept of people wearing modest clothes existed in their cultures irrespective of their religion.

West and East is purly Geographical terms, I think the terms developed from the Medieval age, where the Empire towards the West i.e the Roman Empire being the biggest empire that side of the worlds has seen. Then you have the east where it is the Eastern side of the world (mapwise) i.e the Islamic Empire that came after the Persians. Something like that I guess. Again this is my own kinda logic put into it, However, nowadays, it is clear that by west we mean Europe and US mainly since they are in the western side of the world.
And to address your point about Liberation, it is a tricky think, in fact some opinions state that there is no such thing as freedom, a person is born free but chained everywhere, meaning you are always going to be a slave of something in your life. So from that kinda logic, the only way to be free in this world is to be a slave to the Creator of this World.
