God does not have you on top rope or anywhere else but in your mind. Solo deaths are increasing thanks to Instagram, since people think you can learn 5.13 in a day.

It's so interesting to see Toby climb amongst dedicated boulderers and how he's able to keep up. In Storror vids you see him spider swag from time to time but seeing him in comparison to the bobats really shows how good his climbing skill has become.
toby is awesome and he just shows what massive punters the the bobats are. That could be overlooked in a good climbing video, but the filming is awful too. Anyone who's ever been on a font trip has more watchable footage.

I get that Toby is a professional parkour lad but my brain is goo trying to figure out how he is throwing up legit v9 attempts with the rest of these guys with how long he's been climbing. Dude is an absolute savage.
Toby has done some really good climbing vids with Pete Whitaker (wideboyz) worth checking out if you've not seen them.
Toby has been climbing for quite a few years, just more seriously within the last 2 years or so
He's a legit good climber. Also Josh is coming on leaps and bounds (pun intended) with his geko-like climbing abilities.. Distilled natural ability. That lad will go far!

The "you fall, you die" mantra really does help. You body has built in programming to give you all the help it can when it thinks you could die

Alex literally looks like he just crawls out of bed and climbs a rock face. He always looks sleepy 🥱
Notice how Alex just did the third boulder right when they started calling him nicknames. He was like let me put these noobs in their place calling me nicknames.

You see the precision with which Alex moves in the 2nd boulder problem. He was so smooth and controlled as he went round the corner both times. Impressive. Then everyone sends it, well done to everyone 🙂

Alex's climbing prowess has never been in doubt and it never disappoints, just causal and effortless style. However, what impresses me most is how much Toby has come on in the last year or so. Dude can hang... like proper hang!!!
The cinematography in this video is insane! The drone shots from the top, the old school projector filter, the screen ratio changes and smooth transition - all well done and tastefully executed.

Since you asked, I'm just getting some hours in for work and watching a few legends play around on some rocks! It's a great way to spend the evening!
My two favorite climbers Alex and Toby in one video is a blessing how have I not seen this yet.
i love how real they are about being scared, and everyone spotting too. good to see some honest community :)
I was in Font a few weeks ago and spent a couple days in Cuvier (much of which was near La Marie Rose) and the first day the number one thing I kept hearing over and over was "Alex Honnold was just here on Marie Rose 3 days ago!" and everyone was really excited later on when you guys posted the first video. It was very surreal falling off Marie Rose over and over thinking "Alex and the Bobat guys were just climbing on this the other day". My first day was in l'Éléphant and I actually fooled around on this boulder (it's absolutely MASSIVE) but since I was alone I was too scared to go very high on it but I thought it looked familiar and later realized it's the boulder Jerry Moffatt was climbing in The Real Thing when the rest of the guys were throwing snowballs at him rofl.
Honnold has such a graceful, effortless and clean style of climbing, it's fascinating to watch. Definitely one of the most 'stylish' climbers out there.
When Toby asked if I was eating cereal I just about dropped my damn spoon.
I used to free climb up cliffs and quarry's until I had children and then the responsibility reigned in the madness.
Been watching storror army for years and anything with mountains.
Makes me all excited inside when I watch things like this .

Really Great! What I like best about this video is that is so represents how bouldering in a group of friends pans out. On a hard problem, to begin with everyone falls off, learns from themselves but more importantly form the others too, and between you, you break it down and hopefully ride the send train.
These outdoor bouldering/adventure videos fit your guys' style SOOO well!! Would love to see more outdoor action!!!

Alex is such a legend. When he says "that was scary" you REALLY believe it was scary. It has to take such an elevated amount of stimulus to trip his adrenal system after all he's done.
It's just weird to see Alex falling... when we are all used to his crazy free solo climbs, it always feel for a second he is falling to his death :D
