Just saw Dale tonight at Off Broadway in St. Louis. He of course did this song and we all sang along. Played two rounds of Chicken Sh*t Bingo and he performed a Texas wedding for two local musicians. Great music AND humor too!
I used to hate Dale Watson I thought he was just a copycat wannabe. Then I realized he is just keeping it going. Dale Watson is one of the finest musicians and writers there is. Sorry it took me so long to figure it out
Just saw Dale and the guys at Tomball's Main Street Crossing...I've never seen a band genuinely enjoy themselves and with such a natural interaction with the audience. Dale performed every request back to back, usually with a funny little backstory usually attached! The man is not only a super sexy singer/songwriter, but his (and the guys') LOVE for the genre comes through with every note!!! I can't wait to watch them SHINE again!
