Haha yess! My play style stems from my first day playing warband and I wanted to get to know the troops before getting overwhelmed so just stuck with the one culture - 8(?) years later I’ve still kept that up 🤣
Honestly I’d love to see this over a longer period of time, multiple episodes dedicated to your decisions and seeing your thought process throughout. I also believe it would be easier on you for editing, instead of cramming 20+ hours of gameplay into 30 minutes.

@@swft89 well you’re in luck because I’m going to do all the factions! It does take me a long time (2 months (I have a 1 year old))to produce but they’re all coming! (And maybe like a bonus bandit only run? Or an ‘execute all the lords’ run?)
YES! i learnt that during/after this playthrough - i did a poll post about this and it turns out 79% of voters prefer pugios or just don't know about the throwing daggers, 9% of voters chose them!
Usually after I wipe a kingdom out I go around and donate all lord prisoners to my vassals before I make peace for big relation gains and sweet sweet influence, again, great vid
Man I love these! I'm pleasantly surprised at the lack of rebellions you faced with same culture-only vassals so that was super cool to see! I think next time, focusing on getting your wife to be a party leader instead of 4 companions will be a good idea, since so many are low-level with a focus on charm and intelligence, although that still depends on who you can manage to marry. Did you manage to get immortal charm? I find that having that perk is huge for setting up and maintaining control but I still found myself having to "joker strat" my own vassals (good natured and fire brand are huge for this) as I can drain my vassals of just enough influence to have them keep their war plans to themselves but still field parties. I look forward to the next installment, I saw Khuzait are in the que and I think that start should be pretty easy since they are weak in sieges as AI. Your clan member death count was insane, I don't think I've ever seen so many going down in a run. Godspeed for the next run may you ride with the Khan's Guard to victory!
Yes I had immortal charm! I think I had too many vassals? I had all the Battanian clans apart from King Caladogs, that’s the only thing I can think of. So I trained Taorse to be a steward/engineer as she had good stats to make her a better governor (I’ve never focussed on governors before, and I think she only came in handy in the first town to boost militia recruitment - maybe I’m not playing governors correctly though. It’s funny because in my last video I remember giving my vassals at least 10k influence each - this is why I love this game, it’s a different experience every time! I don’t know how to best/properly announce this (I’m very new to this) but the roadmap of this channel is; Khuzait + no smithing Aseri + no smithing + no bow Sturgia + no smithing + no bow + no riding Vlandia all of the above + clan only (and the only run to be in Champaign mode) Thanks for your comment and I’m glad you liked the video!
@@bim_94 ooh I like the road map! I think for pre-built companions as governors you're in a tough spot, oddly the melee focused ones make solid govenors for a bit since a lot of the combat skills add militia and security, but it's tough. I think one change for the roadmap is maybe allow merc work for Vlandia, since it's a pretty big perk for the culture and it allows for a new talking point.
@@bim_94 You will want to find perks that will increase loyalty per day for your governors. There are a couple of perks that are mid to high level, and they increase the loyalty per day by 1. That is a HUGE bonus because it negates the different culture hit, and you can focus more on the other aspects of governing. Make sure to handle vassal issues as they pop up, too, because they affect loyalty and prosperity respectively. It can also affect security, so make sure you are keeping your notables happy. If you are giving cities and castles to vassals, make double sure to keep their notables happy because the AI generally won't. It's one of the irritating things about this game, honestly, the AI doesn't work for anything even if it could mean saving themselves from rebellion. The thing I don't like about this game is the tedium increases on you no matter what, even if you delegate to other clans.
I love this! Thank you for your message - I’ve actually never focussed on governors, I’ve not had many issues I can’t solve myself (the perk where if you wait in a town it’ll increase loyalty comes to mind) and I’ve always like either party leaders or companions that help with the smithing grind (I can’t seem to play any other way lol)
@bim_94 if you make your companions party leaders, turn around and make them caravan leaders after their scouting and medicine go up. The resulting perk increase in scouting and trade are pretty worthwhile. Also, make sure you train up some engineers as governors because they can help your build times if the cities aren't developed to your liking. I make party leaders as a training ground for future governors, especially my family members. Same with merchant caravans, honestly, because trade can also be a useful perk tree for governing if you know what you want out of it. This is great if you want to profit and don't mind waiting on the buildings.
Your bow didnt bug out, itsa longbow, cant use on horseback, you need riding 200 for the trait. Also, elite units spawn only in castle villages, so frewuent them for replenishment, or use Improved Garrison mod, which you can set up to recruit what you want as garrison forces into your towns and castles, Once you have that, you can just return to your place, grab the recruited forces, and it will start recruiting the same again.
I realised the bow wasn’t meant on horseback after the battle lol. I knew noble units only spawned in villages but I didn’t know it was the castle specific villages! Thanks for the tip! - and that mod sounds like an absolute hand changer!
Btw, once you have the -100% prisoner escape chance you can simply capture one town and just wait for them to send wave after wave of armies to recapture it. Then, you just defeat them and capture them. Once they are down to a handful of lords you can just steamroll through their fiefs np
Is this possible in the OG MB? I have captured the queen of a rival kingdom and i put her in a prison in my castle and have surrounded her with my best troops hoping she never escapes, because after awhile my prisoners always escape when they are with me while i ride out so my logic would be they cannot escape while in my castle.
That’s a good tip actually! Especially once 1.3 drops and liquidates broken factions! Also I’ve never played OG MB but I do know warband - and im pretty sure there’s never a -100% escape chance, might need verification though it’s been a while!
@@bim_94 yeah I'll have to check the fandom wiki for information on it aswell, I've gotten multiple denar trade deals for her and rejected them all lol so now i am anxious to get the notification of her escape 🥲.

Fun fact: Battanian Fian Champion are the best archers in bannerlord 2, due to their high power, good armour and weapons and they have the most arrows and range in the game (if you don't count crossbowmen)
I have found that you can actually combat warmongering clans by doing what I like to call "Shadow Ruling", while using the 175 charm perk "Good Natured" (you get 100% of the influence back you spent on a kingdom decision if it fails). Basically you "Abdicate" the throne and then blow through the other lords' influence by repeatedly making proposals they oppose (they will spend max influence every time). Once they have wasted all of their influence you can make whatever kingdom decisions you want bc they will not have influence to oppose you, allowing you to "rule from the shadows". (You do need to wear down their influence fairly regularly, however).

1:10 the game wasn't glitched it was working as intended, long bows cant be used on horse back unless you have a perk to do so (saying it before watching the rest of the video, now I saw it haha) (^~^;)ゞ
It was a lot easier than I thought, the only thing was at the very late game I couldn’t seem to find any of the noble troop tree recruits to train to Fian Champians, but still the infantry held up!
I like using plugins for smithing, but I found that eastern highland daggers are better considering they are basically the same, but come in larger quantities.
Good tip! I don’t used mods or anything but I do remember there was one version of the game that if you just hit enter you crafted the item, regardless if you were out of stamina or not ❤️ it’s funny because when that was patched I ended up quitting the run 🤣
@@bim_94 thanks for responding, I used to travel all across the empire and couldn’t find any pugios, so when I tried different weapons and I discovered how op eastern highland daggers were I loved them, and only had to go to a few towns across my whole play through. I just wanted to add that tip cause your videos are good.
That actually makes so much more sense haha. And yes you’re right, if you just do a loop of the Battania towns you can probably fill up more than you could looping Empire for pugios! Although I have found a stack of 40 for purchase in one town before!
I was confused why you equipped that bow, glad you realized why you couldn't use it; I had the same experience but with a crossbow. Battania isn't bad unless the computer is playing them, they're just surrounded and since they aren't in Warband, I'm guessing that's intentional. I'm also doing Battania but I'm using Valandian cavalry because holy shit does Battania have terrible cavalry. I'm also executing all the men from any faction that isn't from the north because then they have to marry my clan to survive.
So many people tell me that the Bow wasn’t a glitch and then reply to their own comment saying ‘oh, just watched the rest of it’ haha thanks for waiting 🤣 Battanian and Vlandian would be a good mix also because you could recruit them all in one clean circuit, I like it! Love that marriage tactic haha there excellent 🤣🤣
@@bim_94 I did type it but I wait until I finish a video before commenting because of this exact kinda thing. Yeah I know Vlandians aren't technically mercenaries anymore, but I feel like they are the most like that of the actual factions, and using them on a non-empire run feels somewhat fitting. I could just not use cavalry at all, but that's not as fun. Yeah they'll hate me for a while for killing all the men, but if you let them go after battle a few times they get over it.
Best generic tips I can think of is - a longer infantry line normally perfume better than a deep one, I currently have an army that has 500 infantry and I normally go into battle with them 2 deep and really long, send cavalry to reduce enemy cavalry but don’t charge, send infantry right up to enemy infantry and when they are close enough to flight THEN charge the infantry and cavalry

I remember early on thinking I had aced the game and confidently went up against these techno Vikings for the first time and…yep got absolutely stomped! I have actually made a ‘how to fight against Sturgia’ video that may be helpful to you! If not, then you better bend the knee to King Raganvad 🫡🤣
Nice Video. Do you have a character creation guide for this playthrough? There's not much too see in your short pics from your build. Looking forward to your answer. Have a nice day.
I don’t but that’s a good idea, I hadn’t thought about that. My character builds stray slightly but are all based on Strat Gaming’s world conquest video from about a year ago, not the solo clan one he did just recently but the ‘Frederick the Great’ playthrough has an excellent character creation segment that’s really helped me!
After seeing how you misclicked on disguise yourself to enter the castle button instead of besieging it, I really think talewords should make an improvement here on the UI and perhaps either move that option further apart or add a secondary pop up when you choose it, asking you if you are sure or not. I would simply abandon the run if that happened to me.
Haha I was pretty devastated! To be completely honest I’ve never explored that feature and you’re absolutely right - I expected an ‘are you sure?’ Screen. I didn’t even know what I had done until I saw the footage lol
10 attribute points (as I was working getting charm and leadership as high as possible) therefore combined with one focus point you can reach level 130 max! There’s a formula that should be searchable on google ‘bannerlord skill cap formula’ so you can plan your points 😊
also, as a king let's say, i'd love for us to be able to tell other armies where to go, just give us some way to control them so they arent completely useless :/
YES YES YES YES YES! You can set them to ‘offensive/defensive/neutral’ for different factions when at war but I honestly don’t see what a difference that does - imagine if you can set a patrol route for parties/armies! Like you could say ‘I want you to patrol around 1,2,3 towns’ etc!
@@bim_94 i can't believe it's not a thing yet tbh xd end game is so pathetically boring at some point that i never go past cus id simply have to spent 50 hrs doing the same thing over and over
Whenever I play and take a castle/town all the enemies declare war. Then multiple armies come. Usually beat first but can’t beat them all. How do you make it that all the enemies do not attack you?
So in this video, with the help from smithing, I had like $3m at that point so I could easily afford any peace deals I wanted. I edited out the wars where there was no combat so it would look like it is happening less in this video - They definitely did declare war but thanks to finances I was able to just do peace. Also to note - every playthrough is different, I've played runs that are massively more hostile/passive than others randomly. I guess it's just down to AI
I don’t currently, I’ll suggest Strat Gaming and Flesson19 - two excellent bannerlord professionals! Strat gaming has a world conquest guide and Flesson has videos and guides on the intricacy of workshops etc!
Wow, I'm surprised you've never before realized that longbows couldn't be used horseback. Heavy crossbows and pikes are similarly restricted, and originally so were the really big shields (though I haven't noticed that lately, which could be due to playing with RBM). I guess you just aren't used to checking your equipment properties. Still waiting on a perk that lets you use pikes on horseback, since they're now the only type of equipment that doesn't have one ... but considering I can make a polearm with over 300 reach and that's nearly as long as the biggest pikes in the base game, it's not too much of a problem. If you struggle to raise scouting levels quickly, you should consider running around solo or with a small, fast party while at war with a major faction. Armies will zero in on you but can never catch you, so you can lead them around in circles for days getting tons of scouting xp while they waste time until their armies collapse and in some cases start to starve. TONS of xp to level on that even an untrained scout can pick up, and potentially easy noble kills if they aren't smart enough to resupply. Another tip for culture-only runs, every bandit unit in the base game except for looters can become either the normal or noble units of a faction (looters only act as standard recruits, as they have no bandit upgrades). Forest bandits become Fians, Sea Raiders Druzhnikk, etc. Get yourself 150 in roguery, leadership, and steward (to donate gear for xp) and you can recruit hundreds of top tier noble units very quickly, from a wider area than you can recruit troops directly for that faction. Btw, if you haven't seen Strat Gaming's channels, you may want to check him out. Some of the best bannerlord tactics guides I've ever seen, with a lot of testing to find out what works. He has a favorite tactic for whittling down an enemy kingdom in the beginning of a war. He'll conquer a castle and leave it with a weak or nonexistent garrison, relying on free militia to defend it, and keeping his forces nearby, but not inside. The weak garrison will attract every enemy lord in the war, which he can run around picking off one by one to hold forever, or if they arrive in armies, he'll let them siege until their army is weaker (since autocalc sieges are always skewed toward the defenders) and then hit them before they can finish the siege. My personal take on this tactic is that you should set up one city as a fortress with a large garrison and a skilled governor, ideally with the prisoner perks from Riding, Roguery, and Engineering (totally 90% less prisoner escape) and some defensive perks, including anything that cuts the cost of garrisons and extends food stockpiles during a siege as the AI seems to love starving out garrisons. That should be your main base where you can dump prisoners and loot/troops beyond what you need so that you can stay mobile. The castle should be governed by someone with as many +militia and +loyalty perks as possible, and then you can pull them out before a siege begins, or give them some defensive perks as well and let them try to hold it. Then you can hold all nobles in your personal party to guarantee they stay until the war is basically done, and dump them into your stronghold once it's basically over. Use only your own clan parties to form armies and let any recruited nobles seek out and destroy any rising lords from fallen factions, making sure to give them concentrated territory so they won't have divided attention. And if you want to do more of these culture-only runs and are okay with mods, I would highly recommend the mod Distinguished Service, which allows normal units that do well in battle to be upgraded into companions with appropriate skills and gear. This mod also gives two chances to pick additional training for these new companions, which can net you an instant medic, engineer, scout, or quartermaster, or give a head-start on training a party leader or governor. EZ-mode, pick the same training in both menus and you can end up with skills over 300 (I once got lucky with an engineer at 400 skill, which is the max level I set in XPtweaks), or you can only divide training choices to limit yourself.
I do normally check the weapon stats but that now was the lowest tier noble now, I didn’t expect it to be that good and I was so surprised that I convinced myself that it just be a glitch and not my error 🤣 I love that scouting tip! I never thought of that! And I’ve never explored roguery (before the Khuzait run I’ve just finished) so I’ll probably be hitting those stats in future playthroughs and might do that bandit prisoner - troop tip too Huge fan of strat gaming! I would not be able to play this game if it wasn’t for him! He’s half the inspiration to my video style actually(him and a history channel called HistoryMarche) I’ve always advocated for complete vanilla plays, so everyone can understand and even follow along BUT I did just get one that lets me rename companions and lords after my channel members, and I’m half tempted to look at this mod that makes all lords and companions only recruit their own culture troops - but they might not be very well balanced and it’ll probably change the game too much, I’m not sure! I’m not a mod person Thanks for the comments though! I’m not a ‘good’ player (just a wannabe content creator) but I do love the gene and love the in depth discussions like this!
How did the other neighbouring kingdoms not declare war on you in a dogpile? When I've tried going independent kingdoms such as Khuzait will declare war and travel across the entire continent to take a piece of me.

Was there a particular moment you’re talking about? I’d gladly upload the sieges. My strategy with sieges (if possible unless there’s a larger army coming at me) is to break both walls and hop on a mangonel myself and aim at the gap. In one of the sieges I actually took it without entering the castle but that’s only ever helped that one time. Sieges give advantage to the defenders so even if you’re evenly matched they’ll still have more troops, great way to even the field!
Thanks for the quick awnser @@bim_94, i will have to try that. But i just feel like you are playing on freebooter, given the insane K/D you have (due to your insane skill at this game). If you could upload some of your battles here and there, i think it could help some of us not as good players 😅

I get this question a lot and I honestly did very little to avoid them, they just Ryder happen. Battania gave a+1 militia culture bonus so maybe that was literally the thing keeping the kingdom together lol. I only used a governor once in my first town but then when I started sieging again I took her back
Author are companions really dead or is that you showed mercy once you captured town? As I have seen similar thing happen to me when my cruel companion left when I decided not to pillage or devastate the city
In this playthrough they died at such a huge rate it was crazy, I've had other playthroughs where they leave me (either in my Aserai video or the current sturgia one that I'm still editing + I can't remember which lol) and I say it in the video. Can confirm all 10 or so companions that I said die, died!
Question, how do you prevent rebels from taking over settlements? Im pretty new to the game and after taking a Southern Sturgian town it fell to rebels and I got absolutely wiped by the Sturgians who declared war soon after. (My imperial overlords were stuck dying in Aserai, yay.)
You can put a companion with the same culture as a governor, or even train up a companion in steward/engineering to be a better governors (but honestly I don’t often use governors) but I choose all the kingdom policies that effect loyalty and I’ve never lost a town! Strat Gaming did a fantastic world conquest guide that I’d highly recommend watching if you haven’t already! I was new, a little burnt out and needed help with the game and after finding him it made me obsessed!
One of the perks that means the most to me regarding Loyalty is one where if you ‘wait’ in a town it’ll increase the loyalty - can’t remember which skill this is in unfortunately but this is probably the most helpful, especially if you combine that with waiting for the smithing stamina bar to refill! I normally wait until the ‘risk of rebellion’ notice disappears then move on 😊
Thanks! That's basically how I've been feeling for a while, train up troops, be a mercenary, get my self entirely deleted by a rebellion or big Faction, and then start a new playthrough. I'll definitely check the video and perks out. Cheers!
I am looking at the battanian troop tree on the Wiki and it might make more sense reading this while looking at that too I looked at each top tier troops equipment and decided that there was almost no difference in the ‘Wildling’ and the ‘Oathsworn’ Meaning that I just did a 50/50 split from ‘volunteer’ to both ‘clan warrior’ and ‘wood runner’ - the clan warriors would be upgraded to Oathsworn (I did not upgrade to horsemen often (Battanian cavalry = bad)) and wood runners would be upgraded to Veteran Falxman (I did not EVER upgrade to mounted skirmishers as Javelin cavalry never hit!) And as I came across high born youths then obviously there’s my Fian champions (best archers/unit in game) But I did not plan a composition like ‘30% archers 50% cavalry…etc, I picked up everything and dumped the excess in towns for more opportunities to replenish later if I fell so I could get 100’s troops back instantly
So the lowest I went with funds was about $40k I did a guide on smithing and that’s what pulled me through - I’m filming my next campaign where a new rule means I’m not allowed smithing and I was in debt for 10 years lol
Absolutely, that’s why I struggled taking land from Vlandia first. I had to abandon the fighting a few times just to recruit - they’re nearby but I lost castles every time

2:24 Ever since I started naming my main characters Breadan I see Battanian npcs with that name everywhere; now I see they're even showing up in other peoples games! Thank you Taleworlds I guess...
Haha no way! Honestly I think there were 4 in this game, 2 of them were ‘Breadan Cowtheif’ 🤣
This is literally how I roleplay everytime lol. I suck too so not doing it for the fun of a challenge 😂
Haha yess!
My play style stems from my first day playing warband and I wanted to get to know the troops before getting overwhelmed so just stuck with the one culture - 8(?) years later I’ve still kept that up 🤣
Mono culture is the only way. Luckily there's a mod that converts captured towns and villages to produce units from the owners culture.
@tomoffinland123 that would be handy! I’ve heard of another mod that stops your faction recruiting other culture troops, this was pure vanilla though
28:11 xD "princess turns eleven and as a present we declare war on the northern empire" hahahaha
Hahaha what a thoughtful gift 🤣
Needs more views bro this is amazing
You’re too kind! It’s actually nearly tripled in views the last 24 hours 😮
That's why I don't play with companion death on. They drop like flies, but take so long to level...
It honestly has never been as bad as this! It was getting silly 🤣
Amazing video again Bim
Amazing comment again @SecretSnip3r!
Honestly I’d love to see this over a longer period of time, multiple episodes dedicated to your decisions and seeing your thought process throughout. I also believe it would be easier on you for editing, instead of cramming 20+ hours of gameplay into 30 minutes.
I love that idea! Thank you for your wonderful comment! I honestly didn’t expect this to be so popular and I really only did it for me, but now there’s so many of you with so many great ideas!
Thank you for the feedback I’m so new at this i honestly have no idea what I’m doing 🤣
Oh, and the ‘20+ hours of gameplay’ was in fact 97 hours! 😮
Such a cool way you make this, good job! Imagine how many time u spend o this
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy it - yeah they literally take me 2 months to play/edit
I love your style man! Doing a Battanian only playthrough on my channel right now too!
Thanks Winds! Your channel is really kicking off well done! Hard work paying off!

@@swft89 well you’re in luck because I’m going to do all the factions! It does take me a long time (2 months (I have a 1 year old))to produce but they’re all coming! (And maybe like a bonus bandit only run? Or an ‘execute all the lords’ run?)

14:34 you probably know this but you can also use "tribesman throwing daggers." they give the same as "Pugio" just 1 more iron instead of crude iron
YES! i learnt that during/after this playthrough - i did a poll post about this and it turns out 79% of voters prefer pugios or just don't know about the throwing daggers, 9% of voters chose them!
Great video! I love the story!
Thanks!
Usually after I wipe a kingdom out I go around and donate all lord prisoners to my vassals before I make peace for big relation gains and sweet sweet influence, again, great vid
I must remember this for next time! I just set the policies up and never thought about influence again!
Amazing video, felt like I was watching a movie.
Thank you! I love reading comments like this ❤️
1:18 not a glitch ranger bow can't be used on horse back until you get that perk that allows all bows to be used on horse back
1:30 I catch my mistake and realise 🤣
I don’t know how to best/properly announce this (I’m very new to this) but the roadmap of this channel is;
Khuzait + no smithing
Aseri + no smithing + no bow
Sturgia + no smithing + no bow + no riding
Vlandia all of the above + clan only (and the only run to be in Champaign mode)
Thanks for your comment and I’m glad you liked the video!
Hey, just to let you know I’ve credited you in my latest video ‘10 tips’ as the tip about the noble troops I got from this comment here!
Great video, well edited and good commentary
Thank you! I’m new to this and I’m trying really hard! 😊

They’re probably in the top 5 shock troops too lol, half way through this run they just completely disappeared almost, couldn’t find any!

Ohhh amazing, I like this a lot!

I meant pugios but I got auto corrected
So many people tell me that the Bow wasn’t a glitch and then reply to their own comment saying ‘oh, just watched the rest of it’ haha thanks for waiting 🤣
Battanian and Vlandian would be a good mix also because you could recruit them all in one clean circuit, I like it!
I do think you should try a bandit only playthrough at some point there fun :3
That's 100% one of the runs I'll be doing after I finish the original 6. They just take so long to play and edit down!
@@bim_94sweet, big fan btw
i need to know some tips to winning fights with way less troops
I’m currently making a few combat videos but was there something specific you’re having difficulty with?
@@bim_94 mainly just controlling my troops and how to position them because they die way to quickly
But I’ll continue to make more specific battle videos, and check out the ‘big battles’ playlist if you wanted to see some of my tactics in play
I know this video is older, but what is your build? I heard some of it, but it would be great to see it all in one place.

Great vid!
Thanks! 😊
Didn’t know this was a challenge haha this is the only way iv played battanian
At this point the challenge is doing a world conquest 6+ times 🤣
It's been over a year and I've only done 4 haha
Bro how'd you reach trade 125? w/ only 1 focus point? how many attribute points did you put on?
Or even better ‘attack/defend x town’!
Do you have vids on how to controle and manage town/castles/empires? Thats usually where I struggle a lot.
Good video! Enjoyed it :)
I don’t currently, I’ll suggest Strat Gaming and Flesson19 - two excellent bannerlord professionals! Strat gaming has a world conquest guide and Flesson has videos and guides on the intricacy of workshops etc!

I did find out straight after haha! Oops
ha ha, yea, i found out that you found out right after this comment 🤣🤣
@@quanvo9283 I love the eagerness 🤣
With the perk?
I do normally check the weapon stats but that now was the lowest tier noble now, I didn’t expect it to be that good and I was so surprised that I convinced myself that it just be a glitch and not my error 🤣
I love that scouting tip! I never thought of that! And I’ve never explored roguery (before the Khuzait run I’ve just finished) so I’ll probably be hitting those stats in future playthroughs and might do that bandit prisoner - troop tip too
Huge fan of strat gaming! I would not be able to play this game if it wasn’t for him! He’s half the inspiration to my video style actually(him and a history channel called HistoryMarche)
I’ve always advocated for complete vanilla plays, so everyone can understand and even follow along BUT I did just get one that lets me rename companions and lords after my channel members, and I’m half tempted to look at this mod that makes all lords and companions only recruit their own culture troops - but they might not be very well balanced and it’ll probably change the game too much, I’m not sure! I’m not a mod person
Thanks for the comments though! I’m not a ‘good’ player (just a wannabe content creator) but I do love the gene and love the in depth discussions like this!
The game is not bugged, you can only use longbows with the perk for it in the bow skill tree at bow level 225
watch for another 10 seconds and i realise!

If you want to preserve the walls you can build 3 trrbuchet and only destrpy catapult. Its important to put them in reserve first until all are done and deploy them all at once.i like to just charge the stairs but you can do whatever when theres no pressure from catapult.
YES BROTHER
Haha! I could have done with some Battanian Bards in battle 🥁🎺🫡
You only have 5 videos and 1200 subs. That is insane for the production quality!
Are you a streamer or something? Is this a second channel?
Two months ago I had 36 subscribers! I used to Twitch stream but I had to stop as I was working full time and had a baby - and streaming had to go!
I’m not famous if that’s what you’re saying haha! The Bannerlord community are just a lovely bunch ❤️
@@bim_94 I meant to say, your not yet famous. But this channel will grow, if you keep up the production value. Those number already are rising.
Good luck with your baby!

Hahaha no wonder I had literally 0 chance 🤣
How do you keep your cities from rebelling
I get this question a lot and I honestly did very little to avoid them, they just Ryder happen. Battania gave a+1 militia culture bonus so maybe that was literally the thing keeping the kingdom together lol.
I only used a governor once in my first town but then when I started sieging again I took her back
where can you find tools cheap early game?
Honestly I’m not a great trader, but tools is one of the only things I’ve memorised to be >100 = buy and
Princess has turned 11 and as a present we declare war on the northern empire 😅 lmao
Hahaha I had a lot of fun writing the script 🤣
Cheers!
Another question, what kind of battanians did you mainly use? So far I've been using a mix of the archers and the wood runners.
I am looking at the battanian troop tree on the Wiki and it might make more sense reading this while looking at that too
I looked at each top tier troops equipment and decided that there was almost no difference in the ‘Wildling’ and the ‘Oathsworn’
Meaning that I just did a 50/50 split from ‘volunteer’ to both ‘clan warrior’ and ‘wood runner’ - the clan warriors would be upgraded to Oathsworn (I did not upgrade to horsemen often (Battanian cavalry = bad)) and wood runners would be upgraded to Veteran Falxman (I did not EVER upgrade to mounted skirmishers as Javelin cavalry never hit!)
And as I came across high born youths then obviously there’s my Fian champions (best archers/unit in game)
But I did not plan a composition like ‘30% archers 50% cavalry…etc, I picked up everything and dumped the excess in towns for more opportunities to replenish later if I fell so I could get 100’s troops back instantly
How are ur settlements not killing u the garrisons are so expensive
So the lowest I went with funds was about $40k I did a guide on smithing and that’s what pulled me through - I’m filming my next campaign where a new rule means I’m not allowed smithing and I was in debt for 10 years lol
Lol I just saw in this in my homepage I was trying to do it with sturgia but it’s really difficult cuz the ai keeps declaring war on khuzait
Aha no way! I’m currently playing as Khuzait and at war with Sturgia now lol (sorry) how are you finding it?
Its a fun challenge to do, but really difficult since cavalry archers shread my troops before they can get good lol
My issue with Battania was they are so central, any teritory gained one direction gets eaten up in the other direction
Absolutely, that’s why I struggled taking land from Vlandia first. I had to abandon the fighting a few times just to recruit - they’re nearby but I lost castles every time
Any chance for list of mods used?
0 mods and 0 console commands! 100% vanilla
out of curiosity, in what difficulty do you play, do you mix and match settings or just go with one of the presets (freeloader, warrior, bannerlord, etc) .. trying to find the sweet spot to play without being a complete hassle nor a snowflake ride, cheers , amazing content mate! @@bim_94
