Nietzsche didn't give rise to nihilism he diagnosed it.

Really in the end, I think the issue here lies in academics lasing their statements with emotionally skewed opinion. Someone, somewhere a long time ago just up and decided to claim Nietzche hated stoicism because he had some criticism of it and that guy just kept telling everyone that Nietzche hated stoicism until it stuck.
This is how knowledge becomes impure.
This is how we go from Moses starting a strategic bush fire to deter Egyptian cavalry while leading a group of Israelites across the Reed sea during a low tide, probably on a sand bar to Moses parting the literal Red sea and leading tens of thousands of Israelites across in an inconceivable amount of time.
Take my Moses comparison as a sort of complex metaphor that was meant to have a lot to unpack.
The telephone game is a serious bug in the academic "matrix" so to say and people like Nietzche, Moses, Jesus, Siddhartha Gautama, Hercules, Son Goku, Odin, Hermes trismegistus get deified and their words become twisted from their original truth. Now, I am a Christian but I will not deify Jesus. He did that himself and doesn't need over exaggeration and the embellishment of charismatic preaching and grandiose, borderline idolatrous worship.
"RAAHHH NIETZCHE HAAAAATES STOICISM RAAHHH" they all say but he just had some disagreements is all lol

Yes, i did mention in start of video that the word hate wouldn't suit the whole situation. But NIETZSCHE never liked stoicism at most part!

@@PhiloNauticaa I wasn't arguing with you. I was rambling on in agreement. We live in a world where people are so overwhelmed with constant debate so I don't blame you for not noticing.
It's ok. I'm just an autistic guy with trouble communicating ideas. You made a wonderful video!
You have all the capabilities of any big TH-cam philosopher but more importantly, I get the vibe that you are striving for objectivity moreso than the others so forgive me for overloading you. I just got a little excited after watching this 🥴
Have your peace of mind. You are doing an awesome job and if you ever feel.like no one respects you, at the very least, for what it's worth, you have earned respect and I don't even know you!
Forgive me for being so enigmatic. I am drunk with love these days.

@@PhiloNauticaa Yes. Shamanism is very scary. Sorry for acting out. This is the last philosophical expression I wanted to delve into but I am so I can relate to new agers and it is getting wild.
I am well rested and grounded now though. Just a little unhinged 🤪

What's happening feels worse than nihilism.

Wow he just did not understand what stoicism is. This is why I listen to all and follow none. It's all about stop thinking when you don't need it and live in harmony with your environment. he did not understand that it's about change what you can which is mostly your conditioned mind and accept what you can't change. All very simple when you see it. It's not about learning it's about seeing the world like a new born which is pure and uncontaminated by other minds. We are born enlightened into paradise but are conditioned to be blind to it. By the way did I tell you that words are just annoying sounds lol

Will to Power were only ideas that most scholars believe Nietzsche disregarded. They were published after his death and edited by his fascist sister.

Nietzsche was a madmen, until he lost all consciousness, writing progressively against all that he was supposed to respect: Christianity, that represented his father and his ancestors, Greek philosophers, that he adore. To say that his eternal return is different to what the Stoics taught, is to be in a mistake... he was just a sick man, thrashing about everything that he considered sacred. A reflection of his time.

Yes, He was a madman, caught syphilis after a prostitute, start living with his sister. Didn't follow ubermensch for himself!

He is a mad man but it would be ignorant to dismiss his views completely
We all live life through our own limited perspective only when we start considering others perspective can we actually know what the world is truely like
