Their reason for the fast blinker isn’t correct. The bulbs are all in parallel, so they are getting the exact same voltage. That’s the voltage at the battery/alternator. The reason why it blinks faster is due to the change in resistance that happens when one of the parallel runs of the circuit is missing. When one of the parallel paths of two resistors is broken, that means the total resistance doubles from what it was before. Traditionally, blinker modules were made with a heating bi-metallic strip and a contact. When the blinker is turned on, initially the bulb lights up through the strip that is meeting a contact inside the blinker module to complete the circuit. The strip heats up and warps enough that it breaks the electrical contact until it can cool again and make contact, by which the bulb lights up and the process repeats. The change in the load on the other side of the bulb changes the speed at which this action happens. Also, these blinkers aren’t a constant interval. It will change dependent on the ambient temperature. Not a whole lot, but enough to notice your blinker and the neighboring car going in and out of sync over time. Modern cars don’t have these blinker modules anymore as the computer does it all, but the computer can also detect this change in resistance and activate the fast blink, as well as send you a message about which particular bulb is out.
Interesting! But in the example of the old car, why does this then make the blinker, blink faster? More current heard the metal faster? And the illumination is linked to the in car blinker ?

just like earphones can be used as microphones, microphones can also be used as a speaker, by plugging it into the audio output instead of the mic input, Also if you don’t have any kind of bottle opener or a lighter to open your beer bottle, just use a piece of A4 paper, by folding it back and forth in a concertina, fan like shape, hold the two ends together, so all the pleats are tightly together, then folding the paper in half, so both ends are together, it will created a strong enough lever to pop open the cap, by using it the same way as a lighter, 👍🏼

11:15 what I've always done when there's a (non-twist) bottle to be opened and no opener is find something to hit it with obliquely, such as a piece of firewood. A section of a log that hasn't been split yet is even better. Slide the bottle down the side of the log so that the cap catches on the top edge of the piece of firewood, and it'll flip it right off. (Don't try this with the edge of a table, because even though it will work, it'll mess up the table)

I was using an old-fashioned button earplug as a mic 25 years ago when doing interviews over the phone. I’d stick the plug into the mic slot of my mini-recorder, couch it in the ear part of the phone and record away. That indent on the milk is actually for the filling process. The blow molds that form the milk can change sizes so that indent makes sure you get a gallon. If you need that to tell you your milk is bad, it WAY past being bad and you can smell it as soon as you open it.
Apparently shaving cream is supposed to prevent glass fogging. You squirt some on the lenses, rub it evenly across it, then wipe it 'til it clears and you should be fog free for a while.
You can also use the back of a hamner, the part to remove nails. You can use that to open a bottle of beer. You can use hot water at the opening of a bottle of corked wine to loosen the cork then lightly tap the bottom of the bottle with the heel of a shoe to open the bottle. Just make sure you do this over a sink with the opening facing down.

This is literally the most underrated channel ever
Same as most politicians.
Atlantican Cameos #FAX
Coool.
Promoting your channel on as many Be Amazed videos as possible... So low honestly
I used headphones as mics when I used to record mixed cassette tapes. 80's cutting edge tech 😂😂😂
No one has made me a mixed tape in a loooooong time. I kinda miss that.
I used to always do that with the board marker since the first grade, very helpful
1:03 alcohol removes "permanent" marker quite well also
So do magic erasers!
Anyone else around when their intro was still "AMAZING!"
Yea, I still say "Amazing!" for the intro.
I was expecting it and then thought I just missed it somehow
I can’t believe how big this channel is. I remember when it was promoted when it first was made. That guy that used to debunk pictures as to whether they’re real or not promoted this channel. God I should have started a channel like this a LONG time ago lol
When I was in a band in high school, we couldnt afford backup mics so we used old headphones
I’m Casey Kasem, and this is secrets of the unknown.
I’ll be saving this vdo for ever! All of them I either already use or just learned to use. Chapeau!!! 🙏🏼🤗
Hand sanitizer works really well as a Perminent marker remover
yeah one time i was bored so i wanted to ‘clean’ my wall with hand sanitizer on a paint brush. i scrubbed the sanitizer and it ended up taking of the purple paint and tho i have a white spot on my purple walls.
6:14 Microphone headphone.
I knew I wasn't going crazy all those years ago.
Regular stereo speakers, as well.
the CIA thanks you for those recordings ;)
I've used speakers and earphones as mics for decades. :-)
just like earphones can be used as microphones, microphones can also be used as a speaker, by plugging it into the audio output instead of the mic input,
Also if you don’t have any kind of bottle opener or a lighter to open your beer bottle, just use a piece of A4 paper, by folding it back and forth in a concertina, fan like shape, hold the two ends together, so all the pleats are tightly together, then folding the paper in half, so both ends are together, it will created a strong enough lever to pop open the cap, by using it the same way as a lighter,
👍🏼
FUN FACT : XD. I'm late because everyone is first.
Fun fact : no one cares if you are Late or not
@John Vorasane Nice
I didnt know people still use XD
@@flyingcloud2677 of Course People still do, all these virgins saying they are either Late or first
Not everybody
I am here to say that I knew that the use of the juice box flaps were for handles. This is the biggest achievement of my 16 years of age
The salt & pepper shaker trick boggled my brain, & is definitely one that I’ll be using from now on. Great video as always. 👍
me: 11:32 could work
my anxiety: what if you don't have either of the things
me: *panics*
Just place the cap on the side of a table and slam your hand on it
You.... stupid.
Pliers , screwdriver ect
Use ur ring. Put the bottom edge of the ring on the farthest side of the top, and pull back. It’s better if the ring is a mans ring bc they have more grip and can protect your hands from being cut by the top
Have you done videos of creatires with abilities that you didn't know about?
I know this an old vlog but since I'm new I'm binge watching. For the beer bottle I've seen several ways to open by using a quarter and also the corner or side of a counter while tapping the bottle down. Love your vlogs and sorry for typo was super excited after watching vlog.
Just open it with your bare hands like a real man
When I was a little kid, we thought that when you opened the little handles on the juice box were a little game and if you got something special, like the same pattern you would win a free trip to the juice box factory. I don’t even know how that got started and whether it is true or not.
Using a wrench to get extra torque on a screwdriver is really nice !
The salt and pepper shaker trick is good too. 🙂
The mask one was not a hack, its just a thing to help your face
„put your mask around your headphones”
-cries in AirPods
Bic disposable lighters can actually be refilled with lighter fluid. Take the little hose on the refill can and attach it to the round lighters flame igniter and fill it up.press on the red button to let excess out then quickly light and blow out ,So to burn off extra without exploding do this until it lights up normally again.
Wait, While I've been using using a can opener to open bottles, it was actually a secret? cool x3
I was using an old-fashioned button earplug as a mic 25 years ago when doing interviews over the phone. I’d stick the plug into the mic slot of my mini-recorder, couch it in the ear part of the phone and record away. Or I’d hand the earplug to someone I was interviewing in person to get a better recording in a noisy office. I’m not sure how I came upon this trick but it came in very handy.

He’s wearing the mask backwards :/
And also the holes on shoes are primarily for ventilation, and not for laces, do more research before spreading this information.
Do more research on converse all stars bud, before you go around claiming to know more than another. Tends to make ya look stupid
Primarily doesn't mean exclusively.
I used various objects so wrong for so long, when I have once read instructions once accidentally I couldn't believe my eyes :D It was kind of funny
Lol, what about this one? ref.moneyguru.co/WaiOut
Have you read it?
You and half the world.
This entire video was fun & informative to watch. I did know about a fast blinking, blinker. I, however, did not know why it blinked faster. I just LOVE 💘 knowing little quirky facts like that.
Students: how early will school start?
School: Yes.
Is it just me or that mask metal wire thing is known by everyone since the pandemic began ?
I've seen a lot of people who didn't know about it.
@@TM-wm7om Idk man , it just seemed obvious to me from the time masks were made a necessity .
I have known it for years.
That indent on the milk is actually for the filling process. The blow molds that form the milk can change sizes so that indent makes sure you get a gallon. If you need that to tell you your milk is bad, it WAY past being bad and you can smell it as soon as you open it.
Maybe the iron in the mask is meant so it will comfortable to wear the mask, but it certainly does not prevent steam from covering your glasses 😒
I feel the same way my glasses still fog up every time. i had to buy a custom mask to reduce the fog but mine still fog a little with the custom mask
@@brittyvegas9482 it's annoying
Apparently shaving cream is supposed to prevent glass fogging. You squirt some on the lenses, rub it evenly across it, then wipe it 'til it clears and you should be fog free for a while.
The drain on the padlock is less for rust prevention and more for preventing it from freezing in the winter.
How haven't I come across this channel sooner? Love it! 👍🏼
I knew the first one because I used permanent marker on my desk to troll my teacher and showed her that you can erase it with an expo marker
From England: thx
Is this far enough
Wow..this video was amazing!
The first one we’ve been using since we were grade 1 lmfao
It was anusing to see all the other kids panic when the ink of the dry erase marker fade
I'm sure you didn't
0:57 I already knew that lol

1:49 For all the Karen's who Complain that they can't wear there mask over there nose cuz there's nothing to hold it
They have the mask upside down and inside out lol!
0:47 literally everyone already knows that

Oh my lord....do people actually not know most of this stuff!!
Good for you

I have never seen a milk jug like that to begin with.

If you stop breathing, your glasses won’t fog up. I learned that trick months ago.
Suicide part 69 the no breather
I don't feel any smarter for having watched this.
Then you are a hopeless case. Lol jussssst joking.
The glass bottoms on the salt shaker is made that way. It’s how you make glass bottoms. It’s a cute trick but not intentional
