My son was a believer as a young person, but he went into the military. Now he is disabled and says he does not believe anymore after all he saw in Afghanistan. Please pray for him his name is Scott.
I pray for Scott that the Lord Jesus draw him to Himself. Father draw Scott to You as only You can do in Jesus sweet name.

I been to church as a small child but never knew God and as a grew up I became involved with the party scene. Going out drinking staying out late coming home sometimes 6am ect ect. Then I started using drugs very heavily and it got to the point I skip house payments just to do drugs. Well one day I was doing drugs in my house and I laid on my couch and my heart was beating so loud then I felt it just stop for couple seconds and start back up again. I got so scared and the urge to call up to God came up so strong in me.
This is what I said...Bailing my eyes out...
God I don't know who you are but I know you're up there. Please help me stop doing drugs I'll do anything.
Help me clean up my life. I can't do it on my own.
Now I don't know why I said this I never went to church other than when I was little or let alone pray but that urge to call up to God was so strong.
Well 3 weeks later on Jan 7 2007 I got in a car accident that left me Paralyzed T3 although I was going through all this I had this peace like everything was going to be ok.
This is where things started getting good.
I started walking again with a walker for like 300ft sometimes more then I get really tired and have to sit down.
Then one day not too long after that I woke up and called my parents cause I didn't feel good and they tried to get me up and there was a pool of blood under me.
Apparently because I'm on blood thinners because of blood clots I started bleeding non-stop because of a deep cut.
It was terrible because I needed blood transfusion and not only that they took me off my blood thinner so my stitches would heal and when I woke up a week later after I got home from the hospital my legs was so big full of blood clots.
the thing with me is my blood clots up fast thats why i'm on blood thinner but they didn't think 7 days would make a difference
I had wisdom teeth pulled where I was off of it for 4 days nothing happened. Just so you know.
Back to the testimony, well I spent maybe 2 months in the hospital with a pickline dissolving the clots with strong blood thinner.
After this I couldn't walk again because I was too weak and it's been a battle ever since but you know what.
I got so depressed after that I started drinking, doing drugs and one day I put my keyboard down and a street preacher started taking about Jesus, heaven and hell, repent, Gospel of peace... At first I was laughing at how people were treating the poor guy but as I heard the message and the word of God (Hebrews 4:2) coming from him the laughter turned into conviction then fear of where I'll be heading without Jesus as my savior came upon me. I saw myself in the mirror. a sinner in need of a savior.
Right then and there I believed the Gospel That Jesus Christ Died For all my sins and Rose Again on the 3rd day.
My faith is in Jesus alone, His Finished Work on the Cross.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:2
Through man nothing is possible but by God everything is possible.
What did Jesus do when he was tempted by satan? Quote the Scriptures to Him.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
I don't want to seem like I have all the answers but I do know this being in a wheelchair is only temporarily because I'm already healed!
I believe in an all powerful God that he can do anything and nothing is to hard for him. and for those whom love him.
If you love God and you have faith as small as a mustard seed he can do miracles for you.
Scott you can't give up always fight. Prayer now is your weapon to fight the enemy with...
The Lords prayer is powerful because you are coming to God based on who he is not as give me this give me that seeya bye...

You are acknowledging God the one true God as Holy God before you pray and that His will alone will always be done, in his kingdom and on earth, and you confirm that by asking for your daily bread...
If people always pray Knowing God is in control of everything and knowing he hears every word you say thanks to the Blood of Jesus Christ and through faith in that, Just wait don't doubt.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may "obtain mercy", and find "grace" to help in time of need.

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time"
But you know it goes back to what Jesus said seek and you shall find knock and it shall be given unto you.
Do not dwell on the flesh is my only advice for Scott, dwell on heavenly things give praises to God for everything Good you can think off when you are feeling down and soon enough you will see God's grace in that alone.

@we thepeople it's just people getting the wrong word (truth). I mean I got baptized by the Holy Spirit but there are a lot of people out there that don't. It's not just a carnal mind a lot of Christians out here have a seared conscience. That's why they can't see the truth from the truth. There is no faith Grace Gospel. You either follow the will or you don't follow the will. and most Christians are not following the will of the Father and turning from sin. and if people do send you repent and you confess and you will be found worthy in His eyes. So if the Rapture was tomorrow very few would make it.

It's sad how many people are taught to hate themselves and to the point of such self-destruction that learning the honest truth and not ignoring it is repugnant to them that simply want to believe because it feels good or right. Never going to actually read the bible, just take a preacher's word for it, never going to actually learn something worth learning.

I listened to probably 20 or 30 of this preacher's sermons. I like this guy. Not sure if I'll listen any more though. I was watching a sermon of him on steel waters channel on how he doesn't believe in speaking in tongues. I'm penticostal though I'm not sure what his denomination is.

In the first place like Christ said you have to have the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9 says no Holy Spirit no Christ. And most Christians do not bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. And salvation is not granted to the wicked.

I have schizoaffective bipolar disorder yes I have poor grammar but on June 13th 2018 I scored 200 on a very difficult accurate IQ Test six to eight times in a row my life was in the gutter alcoholic to my bone marrow yes I'm on disability not because of my mental illness not now atleast the deconal in the shot of my medication physically disabled me doctors malpractice I'll be in pain everyday the rest of my life I was a carpenter and I was the best of the best I can do carpentry rough framing math like Beethoven played music and I can play poker like Stu Ungar played poker that I give up something happened June 26th 218 my first day sober given up on AA no one would sponsor me cause I take medication for my mental disorder and a church told me nine years ago to dump my medication down the toilet i did i have been disabled ever since why do Christians shoot there wounded something happend June 26th I can not explain or describe it all I know is I can't settle down I'm in a war for my soul and if i'M GOING DOWN i'M GOING DOWN FIGHTING
Jason Brown I was a drunk and an alcoholic for nearly 18 years. When I was truly saved by the Lord He took it away virtually overnight. No AA no rehab no drugs no support system. I am proof positive that the Lord can take away the evil addictions out of your life. You only need to believe in your heart and call on the Lord and confess Him as your one true Lord and Saviour. Praise the Lord! There is no way I could've done that on my own!

I’m married to a Rebecca. Also years ago we attended a baptist church where the preacher did pull folks from other local baptist churches in a small town. ( using the guise of KJV-onlyism). The church is dead today. Can’t keep a pastor. So the first hireling who started it came out of retirement. And oh by the way, he is divorced while a Christian and so self disqualified in the first place. They had no soul winning while he was there because on Saturdays he sat home and watched NASCAR. Sad. Very sad.

Trump as the leader of Your people and this great nation... Thank You, Father, that We the People came out in droves and elected Donald J. Trump by a landslide, regardless of what their stolen popular vote says. There are those who would contest our votes, contest the Will of Your People...We will not allow them to steal our future. There will be no perfect leader until Jesus returns, we know that. To become a child of God. When is it time for a person to humble themself. To turn to Christ? When does it happen in a mans life? When you are 5, having parents who teach you? It is God using the Holy Spirit that draws you to Him. If a person backslides they must repent and confess to keep the Holy Spirit staying with them. God told me we can lose the Holy Spirit. So there is no one saved and for someone to say they got their life saved at a certain age means nothing if they can back slide and everyone back slides. It was always about turning from our Wicked Ways. Salvation is not granted to the wicked Psalms 119 155.
