I am so GRATEFUL for this sermon. I have spent my 28 years in this mental place, due to religious spirit/mindset. Now my eyes are opened for 1st time.... I have never felt inner rest/peace until now. I don't know how to express My gratitude to this ministry. I cry as I type this. Now I know I have to let go and depend entirely on God's grace, while I renew my mind via His word. I just realized that I've been sabotaging my self. Because of old takes playing of I will never amount to nothing and that nobody would want me because I'm a failure.

My strongholds have become very subtle and feelings of guilt hard to identify while God has been guiding me to overcome them.
I've been trying to get so much done every day so those things can become easier and more habitual for me in the long run but one day I'll sleep in and then be bothered by guilt for days. Sometimes God will lead me to sleep in while reminding to relax.
What I've learned is that although I intend to lead a highly effective and proactive life and while God is backing me on that, I can't continue to get down on myself and think all is ruined for every little mistake I make.
I must exercise away unnecessary guilt and become more harmonized in trusting God's timing, will, and grace.

Brother David, I was stuck in a stronghold. In fact, as I woke up this morning, the enemy was attacking with temptation of past sins that was very strong. I prayed in the Holy Spirit for the full armor of God. After we defeated the attack, the Holy Spirit directed me to this sermon. It’s precisely the message I needed to see. Wow! Praise Jesus! Surrendering to the Holy Spirit is the way forward. Thank you for this sermon. Several truths you referenced were directly applicable to my situation, and they were absolutely true.

You don’t need that stuff I went to church and my friend was on the methadone clinic and I’ll put a prayer request in for her to get off of it until weeks later she was off of it. Watching from Vietnam. He's right, average salary here is 200usd/ month. My mom, who had passed, had always been steadfast and taught us to be faithful with our tithe. Looking back we are blessed beyond measure counting our salvation and our encountering of messages such as this to breakdown our strongholds and to be able to say to the flesh: no. Pastor Dave, "He who has begun a good work in you, will carry on to completion until the day of Christ, Jesus."
Good Evening Pastor David. This message brings so much clarity. I am thankful that you have the experience and that you are able to teach it because you lived it. Thank you Jesus. You are very right. It is the Word of God and only the Word of God nothing else. I also struggled with not knowing whether my Heavenly Father loves me. It took me a while to believe that He did. But the Word of God helped me and staying in prayer and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Just before I watched this video I was sitting alone in sickness and depression praying for God to help me. I just heard about everything that was bothering me.
My productivity level has been so low for a couple of months now, literally I was anxious about so many things, worried about the future, had a funny joke about suicide at a point, lost focus on so many things, but here. This teaching opened my mind. Glory to God
I love you! Don't be discouraged because your a perfect work of art. God loves us all, I have really bad depression and anxiety. God gets me through anything. My feet hurt from all the different paths I've got lost on. Not from walking it's from my shoes being to tight because GOD carries me.
Victor O, I was young and now I am old but have never seen the righteous begging for bread. God has given us a hope and a future. The Lord is not a man that He can lie. I have being there and have experienced the miraculous intervention of God. Stay close to Him, pray in tongues and meditate on God's Word. It is powerful even dividing the soul and the spirit. When the world falls apart you who trust in the Lord will shine, it is opposite of the world.

One reason why its hard to take out that certain evil is that it is not accepted as sin or we put reasons to defend. Unless one becomes humble and accept the sin even how shame full it is and ask God for forgiveness, then that stronghold will be gone

I was in a United Pentecostal Church for 13 years and it has taken me years and years to get over the legalistic mindset..I had guilt and shame and spent more time at the altar..I was doing everything I knew to do but felt I was going to hell continuously for I had heaviness from generational curses or they'd preach something else and Lord I go down the rabbit hole once again..Alot of people in church were unhappy and that song climbing up the rough side of the mountain was me all day long..I'm free praise God and thankful I'm now in a God fearing, bible believing Holy Ghost filled church that is not legalistic
To God be the glory I will be free from strongholds soon.keep reaching the people though the Spirit of God.
That legalistic mindset is truly a shackle that robs one's true closeness with Jesus, and it wears down one's mind and body heavily. To be free of this shackle must be an immense blessing, as now you can really breathe, and really feel that wonderful closeness with God.🙏🏻❤️👍🏻

@@celiasleigh2805 I know exactly how you feel, I know one thing thats true: "The things which are impossible with man are possible with God." We can have freedom through Jesus Christ! He said: "I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]." Do you know Jesus? That God loved you SO MUCH that He sent his only son, His only baby, gave him to the world to be born as a human, 100% human and 100% God to pay for our sins by suffering & dying on the Cross for all of mankind's sin. Then like he said he would God raised him from the dead on the third day after. Jesus willingly went on that cross and died for people like you and me who wish we could just cast outselves out of ourselves! We don't need to. Jesus loved us and when we were doing even the worst thing in our lives (Sin) he died in our place and took those sins to death with him.
If we turn away from our sins and ask for him to forgive us, and make Him the boss of our life, His blood will cleans us and makes us brand new people.
Have you ever said sorry to Jesus for your sins and asked Him to forgive you? You can start fresh, all new!
What do we do then?
Enough is enough! I have been struggling through ocd and it has tormented me all my life but today I declare that I will not allow the enemy to deceive me anymore and cast down the strongholds that have kept me in bondages. For god has better plans for us, plan to prosper and not to harm. He has a future and hope for us.
