I love the good honest take on life in New Braunfels. My wife and I moved here from Missouri 6 years ago and we really love it here in New Braunfels! Wouldn't want to live any place else!

I greatly appreciate your honest and authentic videos! I am from the Midwest with friendly people and find that people are even friendlier and very welcoming here. Two of my favorite places are Cypress Bend Park and Landa Park. I also don’t eat meat - just fish. However my husband and son love the BBQ and food here.

Thank you for dropping in Rose. I'm guessing you enjoy the sunshine almost year round. With growth comes more options here. Stay tuned.

Das Rec sure looks like a neat place to exercise. I'm with you with the food situation. I only eat fish, but I can't find cold water, non farm raised, even at HEB and a local meat market. I too moved away from almost all I love, which has been extremely difficult. That is probably the most important to consider. Great video. I don't live in NB, but at least once a week I enjoy much it has to offer.

Thanks for chiming in Tamara. My guess is we'll see more options with more people coming from places that have those options. The family part is never easy and something people should note before moving anywhere.

Been living here for ~7-8 months now. My one and only complaint with the area is just the nutty traffic (especially on 46@35, and over by creekside). It, of course, was never designed with this population in mind, and I hope they can find some good solutions for it. That's something I can just live it, and I love it here!

5:00 I moved from NJ thinking about how bad it was going to be but you're right.. it isn't as humid. I lived about 15 miles west of the ocean and if it was in the 90s it usually was humid. Here it's just hot. Would I like to work in 100 degree weather no. But I think I could do most things, it's not that bad and as my blood thins it will get even better.

Everything this guy is “promoting” is diminishing because people like himself are moving here. New Braunfels has grown from 50K to 120k in less than 15 years because of people like him. The rivers, aquifers, resources, roads, and housing market all suck because of strangers promoting the past gems that are no longer here.
