Good for Athena. Standing up to her entire model line and not taking any of their crap. She truly is the best the Cylon race has to offer.
Athena embodies all the warrior virtues! She IS courage, integrity and loyalty personified! At every turn she STANDS firm and NEVER backs down. I served 8 years in the USN and I would go to war with Athena without hesitation.

It's pretty rich coming from Athena. She's a lot more like the other Eights than she'd care to admit.
@Pale Embers Unlike Boomer, she knew from the beginning that she was a Cylon agent. She doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to condemning traitors.
@@stephenwood6663 She didn't choose to be a Cylon. She picked the colonials as soon as she had a choice.
The other Eights choose Rebellion and then wanted to run away again when it wasn't going well. That is the difference.
@@95DarkFire You'll recall that Athena only defected *after* fulfilling the mission the Cylons had given her - namely, to get herself impregnated. If not for that, she'd have been barely a footnote, strategically speaking.
During the occupation of New Caprica, the Eights were part of the faction which believed that it was possible to co-exist with the Colonials. In the context of the Cylon Civil War, seeking Colonial allies was not a contradiction to their political philosophy.

@@artemsmirnov1134 My comment was made in jest, but since you raised the topic: they are indeed siblings. They are clones. That makes them genetic identical twins. As for personalities, I agree. Most siblings have different personalities. That makes them no different than the Sharons. Some got along with each other and some did not. Certainly sounds like siblings to me.

You know. You're right. The inside of the Cylon Basestar looks just like the interior of a Wraith Hive ship from "Stargate: Atlantis."
