What you call "erashtaka " is also something made up by man and man alone. Cunning men/women invented these terms to deceive fools like you who would accept anything without evidence or data. Thats how they make their living. If you say something you should be able to prove it with evidence, facts , data etc. Can you even prove this "erashtaka" thing exists? where does it exist? Does it weigh something? can we measure it?
Do you think we are prepared to accept (as you obviously believe )that there are funny looking men(senasuru or shani or whatever you people call it) wearing funny looking hats and riding carts hitched up to birds???Let alone evidence you people cannot provide a shred of evidence that such a joker exist. If he does exist perhaps he will send one of his “erastakas” and break my computer before I can post this. Let us see if that happens shall we?
Your former president Mahinda rajapaksa is a believer of this sort of garbage. He could have easily ruled the country for 2 more years without any trouble. But yet he listened to his astrologers advice and held elections 2 years before the end of his term. Result : Humiliating defeat, loss of presidency, loss of power and many other things he had worked hard for in a life time. Now he is a sad and a broken man. In fact it is dangerous to accept this kind of man made unproven baseless false beliefs in to ones life as the results are not good at all. This is just one example.
There are so many astrologers in your country. Did even one of them predict the Tsunami that struck your country in 2004? It killed hundreds of thousands of men women and children in your country. Did even one of your astrologers predict it and save a few children's lives? Erashtaka my foot!!!
What about the recent corona epidemic? So many people were killed. Did your esteemed astrologers predict its happening?
All over the world tsunamis, earth quakes, diseases , wars , droughts, famine, land slides happen and kill so many people. Yet no astrologer in the world can rightly predict when or where or what is going to happen.
With these examples I can safely assume that I have proven with evidence and data that astrology does not work. That like i said before, it is crap. Very dangerous crap at that. No one should make ones life decisions based on this kind of dangerous nonsense.
Sadly despite all the evidence to the contrary you and many of your countrymen are still blind believers in false faiths, crap like astrology, erastas and what not.
I will close my reply with a quote from author Christopher Hitchens "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence".
