Wow did not thought of checking at the coil like that. I'm going to give it a try on my old Honda. Thanks!

That's a nice demo, I like the minimalist, time saving approach.
I understand why you called this inductive coupling, but the more accurate term for secondary voltage ignition probes is capacitive coupling. There is huge voltage, but very little current except for a few milliseconds in secondary ignition wires. So, capacitive coupling is at play. Inductive coupling is more typically seen when current is free flowing on one side, driving current and voltage on the other side, for example in a transformer or ammeter.

Thanks for clarifying the difference between Induction and capacitive coupling. I now need to do a little more research on capacitive coupling. I always considered capture or measurement of the energy or magnetic lines of force that are produced by current flow a measurement of the strength of the magnetic lines of force created by the current flow. Hence they are induced into the pickup tool to be analyzed and displayed on a measurement device. Is that inaccurate? Have I been looking at this all wrong all these years?

Hello there, can you show how to set LIN bus Thanks!

Next time I have access to a vehicle with an easy to access LIN bus I will note the settings and do a short video. I won't have access for a few weeks so it might be closer to the end of the month. If you subscribe you should be notified when I upload new videos.
