Hello, I absolutely love your tutorials, you are so cheerful you brighten my day. I’m brand new to cricut, is the vinyl for tattoos just regular vinyl or is it a special one specifically for skin? Thank you... I can give you a little tip with applying the glitter ( I’m a face painter) let the glue go clear before applying the glitter, it will still be tacky but the glitter won’t soak into it so will be more sparkly, it will sit on top of the glue , and also won’t ruin and clog up your brush. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos, thank you .

Face Painter and Glitter artist here!. I no longer use brushes for the glitter. I use glitter poofs and apply the glitter way before the glue dries. If it dries clear I find it can rip right off with certain stencils. I get great results with wet glue and a poof instead of dry glue with a brush. Give it a try! I also never apply tattoos to the hand anymore. They fade quickly. I wish this vinyl option looked like more sticky of an adhesive. The duration of the tattoo has more to do with the quality of the glue and cleanliness of the skin in my opinion.

@@dtcaswell Hey there! For glitter tattoos, it's best to use removable or temporary adhesive vinyl made for skin. This way, it'll stick smoothly and come off easily without any irritation. Avoid using permanent vinyl, as it can be too harsh. Happy tattooing! 😊

Hi Jennifer! The adhesive vinyl that is used for this was only lightly applied but since this video, there are tattoo papers for both Silhouette and Cricut users! - Dawn 😊

DO NOT APPLY GLITTER TATTOOS ON THE FACE, PLEASE. Take it from a professional face painter. Glitter tattoos last a few days and you can remove them with alcohol. That is way we only apply it to the body not the face.

Oil or alcohol should remove glitter tattoos without any vigorous scrubbing needed. I am a Profesional face and body paint artist.

Cosmetic glue? Face specific cosmetic glue? Cosmetic glitter? Please do not do this without the correct glitters and glue!
