    I like this guy. He’s as smooth as the whiskey he’s drinking. I have trouble sleeping at night, I will try a shot at bedtime. I’ve never cared for any alcoholic drinks but this may be worth a try. Thanks for the info. If it works for me I’ll let you know.

      @@badeleon07 The most common one you will find for sure is Paulaner, any type, Weissbier, Salvator, Munchner Hell, those are the easiest and most cheap options you can find in almost any bar. Now if we're getting into real Craft beers, that's like whiksy, maybe even more complicated. Because you might only find the producer or said beer in one city only and there's no way you can buy it in other city or internet. Like spanish beer Poch, you won't find it elsewhere, you need to come to Spain LOL. Like Bell's, that's produced in the USA and it's very rare in Europe. Monkey is a really good brewery, they also sell in Europe but only the ''industrialised'' version to put it this way. Beer is a complicated thing, but i love it, if you like whiksy, you'll like craft beer. The tastes, the aroma, the yeast...it's very much like whisky, you will develop good tasting features.

    You seem like a class act sir. However, to me....any whiskey smells like rubbing alcohol to me. and is not easily sipped. I end up shooting it down and chasing with coke. It burns like fire, and has a strong taste like solvent. The Scotch whiskeys taste like smoke, due to the peat, I like the Irish ones, they seem a little more smooth. But still difficult to sip. A scotsman told me that the proper way to drink Scotch was to put 2 drops of water in a shot, then shoot it down.....Its ok, but still ruff.

    • @badeleon07
      @badeleon07  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Tom! Thanks for the feedback! Love it! You're right! Some whiskeys smells like alcohol. Actually, to me it smells like bandaid. A good friend gave me my first Islay Scotch and it is very smoky, peaty and very hard to learn. I played around with the number of water drops and it improved the smell and taste a lot. But I truly enjoy sniffing and tasting Highland Scotch. What I sometimes do is google the smell and taste notes of a scotch that I will drink so that I have an idea haha....is that cheating? :)

    • @roguerebel2023
      @roguerebel2023 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you, Louie. I am halfway through a bottle of Islay scotch (Laphroaig Select) and the smell, to me, is like as the peat smoke was wafting through the malt in the drying process a cow farted through it. I like the taste though. Monkey Shoulder is a good, smooth one and definitely one of my favorites.

      Try different types of whisky, the speyside whiskies taste a bit like cognac, the islay taste and smell like smoke, salt water, peat, highland can be citrus and flowers. Try very small sips rather then gulp it down as that`s always bad on so many levels.

      Who cares,Im here for a good time not for a long one. 22 years old and I drink around 80-100ml of whisky like 4-5 times a week. Enjoying a glass in the evenings while watching a good movie or studying. I was also a heavy smoker,1 pack a day since 18y. Now I barely smoke 2 cigarettes a week only on occasions. Cigarettes are way more dangerous than a glass of whisky.

    • @beyondher

      Not true. Scientific studies show that you will live longer with moderate alcohol consumption compared to not drinking alcohol at all.

    • @smashexentertainment676

      @@beyondher Lie. An actual scientific study tells us that alcohol in any form and amount is harmful to the living organism. How do you even imagine 'scientific study' like that? Did they tested at least 3 generations? Or just cherry-picked some unverified hearsay? I know a few people who never had a drop of alcohol and lived over a 100 years, one of them is a heart surgeon who performed a successful surgery when he was 100 years old. On top of that I got a friend who studied nearly 20 years to become a doctor, I think he knows better.
