Hi Andy! Never commented, but watching all your videos. I enjoy pretty much all of it, but running along a creek and fishing are my favorites along with fishing on your beauty of a boat! You may be an older me, because you have several things reminding me of myself😂 also love being in the wild and fishing up little creeks. But my creeks are mountain creeks in Switzerland and the fish are beautiful brown trout. I would love to visit Australia some time to fish for all the species you catch! I really enjoyed this, Andy. Had to lie down to watch with my pet rat, Pete, as I'm recovering from haemorrhoid surgery & things are a bit tender. Nice to see the simplicity of the shelter & that it worked. It wouldn't be enough to keep out the elements in the UK. Love that you use the natural resources too. As someone who is really into natural history I love that you give info on the vertebrates & inverts that you see, & film when you can. All of this promotes a connectedness to our surroundings that so many have lost. Thank you.
I hope you recover soon, yes the UK would be a little cooler and probably even wetter I would need a second side on my shelter for sure, the big question is does the rat like my videos, ha ha

Definitely like the survival stuff. That eel was cool too. It was a different one than the usual eels that I've seen in Australia. What I like about your videos is that they are not overly polished or produced. Not like a tv show but a more accurate interpretation of the real-life situation and we all know that is what it actually is.

I watch every one of your videos, Andy. Each one is entertaining, educational and utterly enjoyable and, for that, I thank you for taking the time to make them. I watch a lot of camping, outdoors, bushcraft, survival and fishing videos and this one had it all !, PLUS, an added smoked eel at the end, which looked absolutely delicious. You guys down under seem to live in a beautiful paradise, but, it seems like there is always some creepy crawly that wants to kill you or make your life painful. Who knew that the sweet looking Gympy bush could be so brutal !!. Thanks for entertaining us all with your adventures. Much love from the “Old Dart”, as you guys say. (Great Britain, as most folk know it).

Loved this one Andy! Something a bit different, but i am loving the amount of overnighters you do these days. I honestly have liked all of your overnight videos so far whether it be beach camping or bush. Throw in a few extra videos of you heading out to spots in your glider too. They were pretty cool! Here's a bit of an idea, for your next survival hut overnighter, try making a teepee? That would be good shelter as well, and they are an extremely strong structure.

Great video Andy! I personally like the different type of videos you already make, your videos already have a lot of diversity. For example I loved the videos you made on the sail boat and when you came to the States I loved those videos too. Also you’re not always catching or cooking the same things and you’re almost always camping at a different place or island. I absolutely love the catch and cook part of your videos too. You’re already doing a great job, I would continue doing what you’re already doing. 😃👍

That’s actually a really good idea for a campfire story, the problem is I have to remember it at the time, which isn’t always easy when I’m trying to film and get everything going when I’m out there, but I’ll keep it in mind for sure
This was a really fun video idea! I also love the variety. The bush kitchen is a cool spot to see from time to time because you really get to cut loose on the techniques and recipes. I kept thinking how to utilize those stinging trees as self defense tools or food. We have nettles that really suck to touch, but they can be cooked and eaten!

I think your videos are good just as you produce them. I was raised in the mountains of Utah and I used to love fishing. I live in the desert now, so fishing is hard to come by.

I am a more recent subscriber, but I have been watching for a few months. I have been enjoying the variety of videos more than anything. What got me hooked though was the flying into the hard to reach fishing spots. I'd never seen anything quite like that, before or since. That and the gourmet takes on fresh fish and squid preparation. Squid ink pasta was pretty slick.

I really enjoyed this, Andy. Had to lie down to watch with my pet rat, Pete, as I'm recovering from haemorrhoid surgery & things are a bit tender. Nice to see the simplicity of the shelter & that it worked. It wouldn't be enough to keep out the elements in the UK. Love that you use the natural resources too. As someone who is really into natural history I love that you give info on the vertebrates & inverts that you see, & film when you can. All of this promotes a connectedness to our surroundings that so many have lost. Thank you.
I hope you recover soon, yes the UK would be a little cooler and probably even wetter I would need a second side on my shelter for sure, the big question is does the rat like my videos, ha ha
@@Andysfishing He had his eyes closed for most of it, contented in sleep. Pete is pretty old now, doesn't do a lot, but loves a cuddle.

Definitely like the survival stuff. That eel was cool too. It was a different one than the usual eels that I've seen in Australia. What I like about your videos is that they are not overly polished or produced. Not like a tv show but a more accurate interpretation of the real-life situation and we all know that is what it actually is.

I watch a lot of camping, outdoors, bushcraft, survival and fishing videos and this one had it all !, PLUS, an added smoked eel at the end, which looked absolutely delicious.
You guys down under seem to live in a beautiful paradise, but, it seems like there is always some creepy crawly that wants to kill you or make your life painful. Who knew that the sweet looking Gympy bush could be so brutal !!.

Hey Paul, I’ve actually smoked eels in wet cardboard boxes before you don’t need anything fancy just make sure it doesn’t catch on fire
Loved this one Andy! Something a bit different, but i am loving the amount of overnighters you do these days.
I honestly have liked all of your overnight videos so far whether it be beach camping or bush. Throw in a few extra videos of you heading out to spots in your glider too. They were pretty cool!
Here's a bit of an idea, for your next survival hut overnighter, try making a teepee? That would be good shelter as well, and they are an extremely strong structure.

Great video Andy! I personally like the different type of videos you already make, your videos already have a lot of diversity. For example I loved the videos you made on the sail boat and when you came to the States I loved those videos too. Also you’re not always catching or cooking the same things and you’re almost always camping at a different place or island. I absolutely love the catch and cook part of your videos too. You’re already doing a great job, I would continue doing what you’re already doing. 😃👍
Thank you very much and yes that is what I like to do is mix it up different cook ups different locations in different ways to get there, I just see other people doing much better than me who started this after me and it’s a bit disheartening to only get 30 or 40,000 views when others are getting two and 300,000

That’s actually a really good idea for a campfire story, the problem is I have to remember it at the time, which isn’t always easy when I’m trying to film and get everything going when I’m out there, but I’ll keep it in mind for sure
This was a really fun video idea! I also love the variety. The bush kitchen is a cool spot to see from time to time because you really get to cut loose on the techniques and recipes.
I kept thinking how to utilize those stinging trees as self defense tools or food. We have nettles that really suck to touch, but they can be cooked and eaten!

I think your videos are good just as you produce them. I was raised in the mountains of Utah and I used to love fishing. I live in the desert now, so fishing is hard to come by.
I’m sure there’s a reason why you live where you do, but going from mountains to desert is not something I could do
1) I had to move to find work 2) I don't like to shovel snow. I watch your videos every week.

I am a more recent subscriber, but I have been watching for a few months. I have been enjoying the variety of videos more than anything. What got me hooked though was the flying into the hard to reach fishing spots. I'd never seen anything quite like that, before or since. That and the gourmet takes on fresh fish and squid preparation. Squid ink pasta was pretty slick.
