I can take losing an old firm game but this wasn't just a defeat, it was a total and complete embarrassing battering from start to finish, on that evidence there is a huge gulf in class between Rangers and Celtic.
Don’t feel bad guys. Celtic are just on a different level.
Rangers won’t be judged in matches against Celtic, similar to like a St Mirren. 😁
I’m a Celtic fan…. I have to say, this is a great channel, this is what it sounds like when it’s me talking to my die hard Rangers supporting mates, we have nothing to hide to each other, we don’t have to put on a front to try and show loyalty to our teams, just honest football fans that absolutely love their teams.
Here’s what I have said all season. If Colak is anyones accepted choice as a number one striker then you simply cannot expect a team with any kind of fluency and free flowing movement, fair play to the big man for getting a few goals but at Celtic Park it starts from the top and he just does not have the speed, movement, touch or speed of thought. A fit Morelos so much better.
3 sitting type mids is a shambles. I constantly debated with my mates that PSV was a perfect tie for Rangers because they themselves were actually a very slow ball moving side, good technicians but absolutely no pace throughout that team. I think it breeds false confidence if you don’t break it down for what it was, it was a superb win over two legs but if we all keep it real, they were any kind of potent or really fast footballing side. I was shocked at their lack of these qualities.
Big Celtic fan here who can't understand how you guys have been so successful in Europe. Huge respect for doing so & all the best for the European campaign coming up but you just can't live with a high pressure, quick movement Celtic side. You'd think comparable or better European sides would have given you similar problems. Again all the best for the CPL. 👍

We are suited to European football better we lost to a better team today who wanted it more showed hunger and desire and have two top quality wingers Celtic are great domestically but sadly in Europe there swashbuckling style gets exposed don't get me wrong Celtic are great going forward but rotten at the back that will be proven in Europe
@@pjsbush5105 I don't entirely disagree. Celtic defensively against better sides do leave the door open. It's not a lack of ability but more an issue of numbers & physicality. Quality opposition will get chances for sure. My point re Rangers in Europe is in my opinion your players are third rate & it's miraculous to me the results you've achieved. I hope both sides do themselves justice. As for your lack of transfer activity. I saw somewhere it may be down to financial fair play.

Celtic fan here, and I have to agree with everything Scott says, Celtic at the moment are well ahead in squad depth, quality and creativity. Celtic with Ange at the helm have an identity and they're football is only going to improve. I just don't see that with Rangers under Gio. I thought Jota was offside at first as he was ahead of Goldson. However, if you look along the line Tav is playing him onside.
I think VAR gives that penalty Kent on Abada as well. Takes away his swinging leg, deliberately or not.
Weird game, Rangers 55% possession. Only shot on target I remember was from Callum McGregor. Rangers need creativity. Lowry and Hagi needed to replicate the Jotas etc.

Rangers are a decent side but Celtic manager is building something really special at Parkhead at the moment. A lot more teams will come to Celtic park and suffer suffer much bigger defeats this year. So it wasn’t that Rangers were that bad it’s just that Celtic are in a different zone from every other Scottish teams at the moment.
Are we forgetting that UEFA are sniffing about regarding financial fair play so did this impact what was done at the end of the transfer market?
You are absolutely right. There is heaps of press in relation to the headline but not a lot of analysis about how it effects the club. I’m thinking there will be no incoming signings unless there are outgoing players sold or loaned out.

I spent longer watching this podcast today than the game itself. Maybe that makes me a bad fan but I refuse to watch a shit show like that. As a Celtic fan I know how hard it is after a loss, I personally thought it would be closer, but I honestly think the board have let you down with the amount of money brought in last year and haven't spent either enough or sensible enough.
Also something I've noticed with Rangers this season is the lack of physicality compared to last year. Bassey was a machine last 6 months and I fucking hated seeing our players coming up against him as he just always seemed to retrieve the ball one way or another.
Top work by you guys. Walter had me feeling like you are now for years so I sympathise.
Kamara £10 million supposedly from Lyon 🤣 I'd drive him back to Dundee and demand the 50k back , Kent is another one, couple of wee dribbles and he thinks he's the bomb , the difference is that Celtic have a world class manager who has picked out awesome players who fit in his style and they're unstoppable at the moment 😁😁

Scott as we said earlier on. We had to keep it tight and grow into the game to get a result. However, we got caught out with a quick thrown in the which ended up destroying our hard work. Gio is a class manager but the fact we weren’t switched on with their quick play says we have learned nothing!

Totally agree on the leadership group in the team mentioned at the end. I couldn’t agree more. For me, it’s that nucleus of leaders (I think you know the ones I’m talking about) have failed for years or bottled it in January over a number of years. We had the chance to gut that group and kill it dead. Instead, we’re offering lucrative contracts for what has been one. I repeat one good season in the league. The manner of the defeat yesterday (again) showed me that the leadership group isn’t good enough. As for Gio there is an inevitability about what happens next there. He’ll be gone by Christmas. 🇬🇧

Exactly Scott...what was Gio trying to do? It looked like he was trying to carbon copy of the 3-0 and he achieved it, well almost, this time it was 4-0....I'm scratching my head as to what were we were actually trying to do back then and today...both performances were neither one thing or the other....today all that static stuff, not switched on, was embarrassing....that's got to be that these players were not properly prepared, not properly psyched up.

One of the differences in the teams today, any of the players on the Celtic bench could easily have been in the starting lineup. The Rangers bench looks mediocre.
Ryan is spot on. Celtic have a far stronger first 11 and a far better squad.

Gio came to stifle celtic but it didn't work ,even with kyogo out after 2 minutes we still got stuck in and done the business!!. Already 5 points clear after 6 games is not a good sign 😕 and you lot know it you were battered from pillar to post all day, celtic are flying right now , your lot are running out of steam already ,yes a bad day at the office but I just can't see your lot recovering from this

Celtic fan here. Sorry but you’re fucked with that slow build up stuff. Not the swashbuckling game expected you couldn’t get near. Kent tried, barasic puts a quality ball in for colak to score he doesn’t. Small moments. Speed of thought not there. Game at times was even. Rabbits in the headlights. Been there with other Celtic teams. The amount of money you’ve raked in with no incomings shows disrespect to your manager. As the season goes on you’ll get better.
Thing is gio knows how Celtic play but he got his tactics all wrong 3 goals that could have been prevented but fair play to Celtic they are good to watch and do what they always do but rangers were embarrassing Celtic are very suspect at the back but we never tested them but madrid will expose that .. not sour grapes but Celtic play swashbuckling football that won't cut it in Europe but it will be interesting to see they do ... in jota and abada they are everything we want Kent to be no excuses lost to a superior team superior in every department

think it's down to attitude on the day look at our performance against PSV away, we fought like men possessed for that result, Celtic are never a better team than them so why couldn't we replicate that type of performance today? Tillman not a right winger wasted out there, as fans we all knew how they would play, the way we switched off at 3 of the goals was amateurish these goals could have easily been avoided

@29:46 @Ryan, we're still getting over the financial difficulties of the past, WE NEED THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MONEY, we took in 2 mil for winning 55, what did we take in for Europa final journey? 18 mil? Until we can get back on a solid financial footing we're unable to fully compete, hence the loan deals and free transfer business. David Murray has A LOT TO ANSWER FOR.

Ryan is spot on with his comments about their starting 11 being better. The frustration is that we are not that far away, and we’ve held on to too many players for too long. Morelos, Kent, Goldson, Arfield, Jack, Kamara, Barisic been here too long now. Too comfy not pushing themselves. I would also add in Davis but he’s 37 and a legend so don’t want to be unfair on him.

2 - totally agree about Barasic, no wonder his confidence is rock bottom, all season he's been bursting his arse to run the overlap and nobody passes to him, last season him and Bassey combined so well amd covered a lot up
3 - why not try 2 strikers when we're that bad
4 - Kent shimmy shimmy, looses the ball, passes back or blows it over the bar. Callum McGregor, wriggles past 3/4 players running direct at goal
5 - after the window closes, Gio admits players out to xmas and others maybe back after international break so why not recuit??
