Come on Americans; Canada has beaten the US a number of times including in 2016 & 2018; and we play Canadian Football!! It was only a matter of time before Japan would beat you in American Football. The US won the first U20 championship against Canada in 2009, Canada won in 2012 and the US in 2014. Canada also won this year in 2024 against Japan. Going further back, Canada won several of the NFL Junior football competitions held in conjunction with the Superbowl. Canada won it in 2000, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Mexico won the inaugural competition in 1997 and again in 1998 and a European team won in 1999. The US won in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Americans are full of hubrus and believe they are the best at everything and that all their championships are World Championships!! Cut the CRAP. You have very good national teams and club teams; but they aren't necessarily always the best in the world. Look at Basketball and Baseball!! I don't disagree that the NFL is the best American Football league in the world; but then there are very few other American Football Leagues in the world (ex. Mexico, Japan, Austria). For example, Canada doesn't have one; however, we do have the best Canadian Football League in the world; even if it is the only one.
