I do love this dress ❤ I am wondering how I can alter it to be More flattering on my hip area. My hips a quite large, especially in comparison to my waist. This pattern seems to emphasize this. Do you have an idea for that? Maybe shorten the corset, so that the skirt starts more in my waist area? Any help is appreciated 😊
Hey , can you tell me please about back size pieces with is elastic trends are, do you cut them normal size details , as if you stitch dress with out elastic , or you adding additional centimetres to those details ?
Because the shirring stops at the waistline and the waistline isn't stretchy (it’s only gathers and sewn with straight stitch). This design helps hold the bodice in place since the dress is strapless, preventing it from falling down.
@@Lizziepatterns maybe, putting an elastic casing in the back could solve the issue? What do you think? I am planning on buying this but either I do zip either I do shirring I cannot stress myself with both 🙏🏻🤣 sorry if I seem lazy but I really hate shirring so if I do it must be worth it
@@Lara-qo8xf You can totally do that, but I would suggest adding straps like in my corset version to prevent the bodice from slipping down during intense activities like jumping or dancing. If you ever try to modify this pattern, please share the results with me! I would love to see how it turns out ;)
@@Lizziepatterns I could also do a corset back, straps version to keep it adherent and putting a zip on the side? Btw love this pattern and love your choice of fabric!!! And thank you for your answers ❤️

Where did you buy the tailors ham ?
Hi! My Mum bought it in Vietnam and shipped it to me few years ago. But I saw a similar one on Temu 🫶🏻
I wish the patterns were free😢
Why the zip if there is the stretch part? Is it not enough for the butt?
