The film called black knight that came out in 2001 is about a guy name, jamal, an employee of the medieval world amusement park, suffers a blow to the head and wakes up in 14th century England. He encounters knaves, peasants, archers and a giant while showing the people some modern dance moves. Tapping into his good side, Jamal aligns with a peasant woman and a down and out-ex knight who are bound and determined to overthrow the evil king Leo and his right hand man sir knolte.

There was a time from the early 90s to the early 2000s where Martin Lawrence was one of the biggest stars in the world.
I can only imagine that was off the back of Bad Boys. I’ve not seen it but people say it’s good. I’m yet to see anything with him in that gets close to a 5/10.

Someone needs to make an edit of the fifth element where instead of leeloo learning about war and losing all hope she learns about this film. Seeing the true horror of what mankind can produce she actively engages in the end of the human race.

Years ago, I remember being in line to see a film at the cinema (can't for the life of me remember what I saw) and in front of me was a family with a special needs child, who was having a tantrum, because they wouldn't take him to see Big Momma's House 2 ; I thought the situation was very apt.@@JayHarangue

@lmmockeries I saw that but don’t remember it. I also never saw his sitcom OR Bad Boys so to me, he’s the guy from this and the Big Momma’s House trilogy.
This kind of high-brow humor and storytelling really elevated a whole generation and race. It truly is an achievement of modern cinema. I love the theme of "He talks and acts like a black person" and none of the white people get it. Absolutely brilliant. This also reminds me of a book written by Mark Twain, but it's shit.

I tried watching this movie years ago but I didn't have a TH-cam channel to support so I gave up not very long into it. In my opinion, Martin Lawrence is like the Black version of Adam Sandler. Generally I'm not keen on either's version of humor.
I like stupid-funny movies but this one is moronic so it wasn't for me. Thanks for at least pointing out the turd so others don't step in it. Best of luck with your channel. Don't give up!

Agreed. I like a lot of throwaway comedies too. Early Sandler stuff, Will Ferrel, the Naked Gun and Airplane movies for example. I can even tolerate the Dumb and Dumber sequel. This really next level awful though. 😂
