Mai’s Fatal Fury premium dress should be her new outfit for City of the Wolves. I love the iconic kunoichi outfit. But for Garou 2 she really needs a makeover to establish the passage of time. And that dress is the perfect combo of more experience while highlighting her beauty.
I think her alternate outfit from KOF Maximum Impact 2/Regulation A works better as an 'older Mai'

You are absolutely right. Garou did it well, and Garou 2 has to maintain the feeling that time has passed for everyone.
Mai doesn't seem like the type to change drastically unless she somehow becomes depressed or goes Grim Dark.
She's fine as is.

I totally agree with you on that! This should be his new costume on Garou City of the Wolves and KOF XVI. And his alternative costume should be the classic one from Garou.
Much as I despise these Gambling Pachinkos, I would say at least some of these Cutscenes look absolutely spectacular to watch,
The "Fatal Fury: Premium" Cutscenes look absolutely Amazing to watch, but were unfortunately locked behind the Pachinko Machine, but it's Good that there are some Brave Content Creators out there that managed to upload Videos of these Pachinko Cutscenes that can be found and watched on TH-cam.
I mean King of Fighters was the first Fatal Fury spin-off. The KoF Tournament originated in the Fatal Fury games.

Fatal Fury Premium has the best reboot designs I've ever seen. Just imagine how they similar to Mortal Kombat 1.
Premium would have been better if it was a gritty beat em up game like Yakuza games. Terry has that rugged look in his design, which is perfect for someone who have been fighting against the criminal underworld.
A great deal of those MK1 designs are a step back to say it kindly.
As long as they don’t make the chicks flat and ugly like Tanya.
I really like how some of these games included more characters from wild ambition.

"Dominated Mind", the PS1 Japanese exclusive, will always be my all time favorite in the series, the perfect Fatal Fury game
I find it interesting that when people started learning about Alice they wanted to see more of her. After Alice finally showed up in a mainstream fighting game the majority of the consensus never wanted to see her again.

You missed the Garou Densetsu Vs Fighter's History Dynamiter mobile game.
The brilliance of the Garou which has spawned numerous titles art of fighting king of fighters savage reign south town and its various vast great adventures is a lore only of Greatness and the connection with the last blade and samurai showdown brilliant crossovers which has been favorite past forever can't leave the vast multi verse good times the best company syndrome and all lol can't viacom titles the license with the double dragon company which also released gowcaizer ohga the syndrome king the challenge taking down Johan in the rare rage of the dragons was funny as well
To me the maximum impact games are more like fatal fury than KOF.
SNK should've put the Ash Saga aside in 2003 to work on the 4 Maximum Impact Saga games first.
It would kept the years of the series longer-running instead of stopping at KOF 2003.
That mobile ff special looked as good as ye ar kungfu
while i dislike the pachinko machines love the cutscenes for them & especially for garou densetsu make me want another fatal fury/kof anime.(also loved alice and be for her coming back in kof or call of the wolves adapting her story there.)
also think premium would be a cool foundation for a fatal fury movie & love the 15th anniversary special being the furthest we saw of the fatal fury timeline especially blue mary's look(hope she comes back with it/mai alongside an updated version of her usual look has her premium and casual looks as options.).

Imagine if all that money went to developing actual games and not casinos. At least they've helped SNK to stay on their feet until now
It was a different era.
Pachinkos were (and are) much cheaper to develop than proper games, and have guaranteed returns. Were not for the change in gambling regulations in Japan many companies would still be investing in it.
KoF XII/XIII cost SNK a lot of money, they were pretty much forced into the pachinko business to recoup their losses and stay afloat.

All the characters look like characters, pretending to be fighting characters. None of them look like real fighters.
