Something that really helps Spiderman is how much hes pushed to people of all ages. There's more kid friendly/ oriented cartoons, more serious comics for older teens and adults, multiple games that are super popular with older groups and then all the live action movies have blown up and gotten a ton of people interested. I remember being really little and seeing Spiderman toys everywhere, seeing the cartoons, seeing the Tobey Maguire movies then seeing Andrew Garfield and playing the old Spiderman games on the wii and while he's never just been my favorite superhero, I think he's the most influential and the most nostalgic.

Absolutely! And a huge part of that is him being around and being popular for so long so he keeps getting re-adapted for the new generation. It’s a bit of a feedback loop where people loved the Raimi trilogy, so Spider-Man gets even more popular and because he’s so popular, let’s create the Ultimate Spider-Man tv show, which people love so let’s make more stuff.
