EPS unit replacement is no longer needed!
MS561 simulates real operation of a unit in a car. The device is invented to diagnose EPS pumps, it can be used jointly with hydraulic bench to test mechanical pumps, or separately from the bench to test electric part of a unit. Power steering failure displayed on the dashboard suggests visiting a workshop immediately. Most often, a mechanic dismounts a unit, inspect it for obvious failures, eliminate them, then mount it back in a car to check its operation. If the unit still has failures, the mechanic dismount it again and keep repairing it until all the failures are fixed. This long-lasting process of mounting-testing-dismounting results in poor-quality repair process and further problems with electrical unit.

Very informative. I'm trying to troubleshoot a 2018 Toyota Camry EPS rack. Do you know what voltages are needed for bench test? I'm thinking the controller sees 12v (ign) to turn on but motors need 34v (hybrid battery) to operate? Any help is appreciated.
Thank you for your review. It runs on 12v.

Thank you for the clarification. I think I have a bad unit or I don't have the wiring pinout correct.
