That gimmick hand brake, blue sluggish touch screen, buttons plastic, heavy steering and engine noise inside the cabin. Other side Compass's interior is just beautiful and modern.

Kushaq and Taigun are both just crossovers based on global Polo and MQB platform and not even on the Golf platform. Lots of cost cutting and sold at a premium
I have a Petrol AT Compass Sport - Mumbai I haven’t seen more than 6.8Kmpl till date. Traffic or no traffic, it hasn’t crossed 6.8 in last 1.5years. Even on open roads, at 60kmph - 6.8 that’s it. Only feedback to Jeep is - 1.4ltr engine, c’mon - the mileage can be better. I had a 1.8TFSI Petrol car before that used to give 8-11kmpl (have seen 11 too) in city driving - same conditions. Otherwise the car is great quality for money spent … I don’t have to worry about safety aspect - ground clearance issues 0, rides well… steering could be a bit slimmer … fog lamp option (as rightly pointed out, is an issue the housing for the same isn’t available in the bumper). Apart from some internal rattling noise that comes erratically during cold starts and last for 1-2 min initially and mileage - I have 0 complaints.
There is big misconception that petrol is not fun rather than diesel , This is actually vice versa - Petrol cars are always zippy and more quicker and less maintenance as compared to diesel/

I usually drive in city and Max one run is 4-5 kms mainly in second gear average is dull between 7.5 to 8.5. Highway 120 14-15 kmpl above tat 13. There is always some rattling noise from doors...though get it fixed at service station after some time from some where else noise will come.
As you mentioned, fog lamp option should be there. As roofrail was not available at time of delivery, I install aftermarket one, seems Creta roofrail😊but not bad.

In compass manual page 380 mentions 95 Octane is minimum and 98 Octane and above is recommended. Sir can you help with some reviews and mileage with respective fuels. 95 is still manageable like shell vpower indian oil 95 but 100 octane is very expensive around 160 rupees liter.
Fog lights have no role as a support to headlight. Fog lights should not be used except for low-light conditions like high rain or fog because their throw is downward. They inform the other cars about your presence and avoid situations like reflection of the car’s headlight back into your eyes during fog

Initially, I thought manual version will get better mileage than auto, but it seems JC Auto-Petrol gives better mileage. I understand JC is mileage not good, but dont expect to be just 5-7 in city and 10-11 avg in manual petrol. As my ride is 5k-7k a year, I took JC Petrol manual over Creta, Taigun, Seltos, Xuv300, Venue, etc. accordingly to my budget. Thought, I can get at 12 avg, but 5-7 in city is too bad.

You may ignore that. Fill any petrol above 93 Octane.
Any issues you faced with normal petrol?
Go for Shell V Power Petrol, it is expensive but i get a mileage of 18.5 on highways with AC at 22. I do not fill any other petrol if I get Shell.

Try using ferrtrofit fog lamp u will forget standard head lamp throw.. even will use in night

8-10 in City traffic
14-15 on highway. Ultimately depends on driving style. Some maniac drivers get 5-6 Kmpl too in city 😀
