Usually, drive through some plain grass grounds and say they have done some serious offroading off the camera or completely ignore the offroad bit by saying no one is going to take this offroad. finally a guy who knows stuff about the cars and presents properly. didnt get a cringy review with words like 'coupe like' and fake accents. they should let him review all the cars and all others should just write those clickbate articles

Which car to buy around 25 lakhs?? MG Hector - got mixed reviews MG Astor - Falls into mid size suv Mahindra XUV 700 - long waiting Skoda Kushaq - Not a great interior a bit let down @ 21 lakhs VW Taigun - Looks good but same, interior not premium Jeep- Ticks most of the boxed but a bit expensive
Kia : Lets upgrade the Seltos with an 18inch wheel on the X-Line edition unlike the regular 17inch wheel. Jeep : Lets upgrade the Compass's regular 18inch into a 17inch wheel for better tyre profile in the Trailhawk edition.
I think the trailhawk gets more better calibration in off-road modes because there is difference in regular car and trailhawk in tackling the bad roads .....the trailhawk passes over the bad roads quite easily than the regular car
Fortunes has 221 mm of ground clearance which is like 1.5 cm more but it’s a pretty good off-roader, so why not the jeep. And even thar has 226 mm which is again only half a cm more
in case of trailhawk it already gets a diesel engine also its gonna increase the price a bit more unnecessarily, in case of other manufacturers I guess its because most of the engines provided by manufacturers nowadays are are turbo petrol engines, if i know most cars have only NA hybrid petrol engines and dont know if Tubro petrol engine can be mated to a hybrid
@@rajanicn9269 fine NA petrol engine are fine when its hybrid.. but why they are not considering for india.. jeep compass is already 35 lac car its okay for buyers even its 3 to 4 lac costlier with hybrid engine.. jeep owners can spend that much money.. but its manufacturers who are not at all interested to develop hybrids in india
nope. This still is a crossover that has some nice tricks. The main limitation is the ground clearance. Also compared to Thar's 42:1 crawl ratio, this has 20:1 I think
These are modern and luxury cars just bigger than normal hatchback but these costly toys are not SUVs these are just wastage of money for the sake of SUV or we can say that these only good for city users not usefull in village or hilly areas
Just buy a bolero neo or thar or Gurkha and save yourself from 20lacs ,expensive repairs ,poor resale and do I need to say more.Trust me its not worth 35lacs,Youll be dissapointed.
agree, I have driven compass before. Although its a good car and everything but definitely not worth 30 plus Lakhs. You might as well buy a german car.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk has just gone on sale for Rs 30.72 lakh (ex-showroom, India). That's Rs 1.38 lakh over the Jeep Compass Diesel Model S 4x4.

Model S(O) 4x4 is 37 L OTR in Bangalore. So yes this will have a premium over that price.

While offroading one of the important factor is its ground clearance. 205 mm is not good enough.
Fortunes has 221 mm of ground clearance which is like 1.5 cm more but it’s a pretty good off-roader, so why not the jeep. And even thar has 226 mm which is again only half a cm more

20-30% extra on account of taxes is fine, but the price they charge for trail halk is more than Cherokee in US
Also, they downgrade the engine. 30 lakhs for a 5 seater vehicle with a 2 litre engine. Whoever buys this must be high.

it is just a badging and cosmetics in the name of Trailhwak. It must come with 7 seater, 4*4, 200 BHP, 400 plus torque, DCT.
When you go off road you must always have some one spotting for you.
