Sage Francis not only is one of the most talented lyrical genius out there but he took the time to email me back through my battle of stage 3 colon cancer. It was rough for me but he inspired me to keep pushing. His music gave me the encouragement to keep my head held high and push forward. I have super mad respect for him as an artist and as a human being. My bucket list #3 is to meet Sage Francis in person. I hope I live long enough to have that fulfilled. Thank you for this upload.
sage you have every ounce of my respect for the beautiful songs you have blessed us all with thank you for sharing your intellectual genus with us all. you taught me a lot of things that where hard to figure out as a kid growing to be an adult
One of my favorite Sage interviews for some reason. Can't wait for his podcast if he starts one (and of course future ALBUMS and Sick Of boxsets and everything else). Great breakdown of his career/legacy and that's really cool to hear about his relationship to Chuck D.... Oh, and his name is Sage Francis, GET OUT OF HERE!!! *brooklyyyyn ZOOOO*
Sage is one of the down to earth artists ever. I was lucky to meet him in Atlantic City and he was just chill and honest and it just made me like him even more. To be so talented and still just a chill dude. He is the artist that i make everyone i know listen to

A Healthy Distrust is still a masterpiece, no album has ever opened my eyes like that one did.
A certified legend
