Doesn't that make you crazy when you have to re-do work that some body else screws up. Live and learn good job LHL. Glad you are back at it just don't over due it.
Good job larry good man your very talented. Hope things work out for u Seems like your on the right track I’m retired but enjoy your videos. Going too be 65 on the 11 may Feel old.
I recalled in on of your previous videos you asked, was it worth the boss man flying you out for a week at a time to work on trucks. I think you just answered that question. The knowledge and skills are very valuable and not easy to find.
Larry , your talents and abilities never cease to amaze me ! You always want to do any job correctly and expertly……. I could have used you on Friday when I was broke down in Frederick Md !! Keep up the great work!
To be honest Larry I never thought you’d ever be back at the shop especially when you was lying in that hospital bed, you have come along way that’s for sure.
Cool! Great info Experiencing clutch problems in the truck I'm driving. Does have a lot of miles on it but resetting with the pedal might buy a little more time 🤏 Take care of your back Will look for more videos from you Thank you
Just reset a Solo on a Press, Just as Larry said take the intermidet Plate out Put it on the Press Plate side up Press the Center of the clutch aprox. Half the throw and have presser on the adjuster it will relese when you get it depressed far enough once it releases push it to the new possession and let the pressure off the press then follow Larry's instrucctions
My Uncle Larry I'm glad to see you back on here man I enjoyed you all the time hey man your house look good I wish I had some money you could build me more ditto TV I said hi talk to you later
I found out you can reset them by pulling tran far enough for the fork to clear the bearing. Install the caging bolts and reset the lever and remove the caging bolts. And reinstall. It’s very important to install caging bolts for reset , if not it will get out alignment again.
Hey Larry, great video on the restting the clutch part do i push the pedal 5 times with truck running or off? Or does it matter? I have no free travel on my pedal .. Thanks for your help and the videos..
Do you happen to know if you can reset a clutch while it is on the truck? I was changing the clutch brake one day and it fell beside the throw out bearing and got wedged to where I couldn't reach it. Without thinking I got in the truck and pushed the clutch pedal a few times to jar it free so it would fall out. While I did that I believe the clutch adjusted itself to the point where there's no throwout bearing. After I've reinstalled the new clutch break the clutch has about a quarter inch gap between the throwout bearing and the clutch brake. It is still working now but there is not a whole lot free play. It is a hydraulic slave cylinder so there is no way to adjust. Any ideas?
Hey Larry !! You gona get that ""NEW"" seat that you bought out of there B/4 it gets ALL greasy ?? Hope it ALL works out for ""BLACKIE"" !!! Have a good week & Thanks !!
Hi Larry😊 thought you said his place was more junk yard than shop.😋 Was that a evil red Milwaukie Fuel on your work bench?🤔 As much work and sweat you have put into the black truck why don't you just ask to drive that one?
It’s weird with johns truck it doesn’t start squeaking right away it’s only after he gets going for a while then you hear like the brakes are sticking like their at wear marks but comes n goes. Others it sounds like a locomotive 🚂 coming to a stop. Didn’t you just do a set. You can hear them in his current few vids. It’s a Volvo we all say it with John.
You should put the name of the business out in the universe so that nobody goes to that rip off shop. I live not far from Hagerstown. Just my luck, I will get ripped off them.
A Quality Conscientious Mechanic is Very Hard to Find. You are an Overqualified True Professional. 👍

Will look for more videos from you
Thank you
Glad it helped
Thanks. It's good to do that 5 reps with the clutch pedal once a week to keep that adjustment mechanism from gumming up.
The Boss Man needs to leave the “Other Mechanic” at the Junk Yard where he is Qualified. 🤪👎 Leave the “Real Work” to a Qualified Mechanic. 👍

I suppose you could ask John to sit on the clutch to compress it.
Very informative!
Thanks Larry didn't know that about pressing the clutch 5 times. Is that for newer trucks???
Got enough fittings, Larry? Great vid.
Need to ask about 2 pedals or 3 pedals pressure plate
Good content as usual
another great informative video
black truck was black stallion?

Should you have the truck running as you press the clutch 5 times or going in very slow speed, maybe 1stcir 2nd gear
Cool stuff man👊
Thanks

You understand why they take the fairing off when it's blown off in the road or destroyed.
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure
Very de-pressing of not having a press clutch. But very interesting on how to do one with out one.

If you tow it backwards at high speeds they will break I don't take them off I strap them

You talk to much about things that are not relevant 😒
Any advice how to adjust the attitude of a rebellious son? Not sure of the correct setting for a swatting belt! 🫣
