- BMW introduces the all-new 2023 i7, its all-electric luxury sedan. Discover in detail the crazy interior in this video !
Passengers in the rear are greeted by a unique entertainment offering in the form of the new BMW Theatre Screen - a 31.3-inch panoramic display in 32:9 format with 8K resolution which extends downwards from the roof and transforms the second row of seats into an exclusive private cinema on wheels. The driver and front passenger can also use TH-cam video-on-demand streaming on the control display for the first time. A 5G-compatible aerial system takes care of high-speed connectivity in the new BMW 7 Series.

Honestly the interior is better than a Bentley or RR in my opinion. Well done BMW!
I think the Bentley and rolls Roy e are classier but this car has a nicer features
Mercedes-Maybach basically combines High-Tech of an i7 with classiness of an RR or Bentley.
But... you still have to consider the fact that RR belongs to BMW and Bentley belongs to Audi. ;)

That 31inch 8k Amazon tv just seals the deal for me I have to have one but I'll wait until it loses $75,000 in value within 3 years from now and I'll have this precious machine in my garage.

The inside of the car is elegant and gorgeous. The theatre is just an added touch.
Make the brand last 500k miles with minimal repairs. Or you be watching that thing in your driveway it’ll be just a movie theater after 80k miles😂.

😭 real BMW owners know that they have AMAZING quality and last forever if you take care of them...plus outside of the vehicle warranty most of the parts have their own warranty even after the standard. 6 beamers from old school 7 to brand new

When I first got my 2016 BMW X5 my girlfriend and I watched a movie in the car with this amazing DVD player. I can see myself doing that now in this.
I love this car man oh my gosh BMW really really did it Love the whole car but the screen just got my attention to TV beautiful me
I feel like the rear TV thing should be a normal option they should fit in KIA’s for example for the average consumer to use. but it’s a great idea from BMW.
It’s all really amazing but what do you need that theatre mode for? Is the whole family piling into the car for a movie or are you driving around people and being a chauffeur?

This could cause an accident when front mirror will be hidden due to screen addition. Or it has given another feature for safety just to check back cars?
You know all work trucks, box vans, and semi trucks don’t have a front mirror, right? One should not rely on the front mirror. You have two side mirrors that show you all you need while driving.
Plus these cars have reserved cameras. The passengers should only be using the theatre screen when the car isn't driving the road. A degree of common sense should suffice in these situations.

From the looks of it, the driver seat has to be pulled up very close in order to pull the back tv down to watch

8K great idea, since yah know, none of that media content is at 8K. Looks really fantastic though, but zero benefit having it at 8K. Unless the screen is upscaling all source content to 8K.
8k upscale 1080p and 4k content so it's good for now. Plus it's future proofing the vehicle a lottle
They are thinking ahead, youldnt want to release something only to have every switch 2 8k in a year or 2 making it subpar right

The problem with cars like this is they attract thieves and carjackers. Carjacking and home invasions to steal keys and cars from garages are rampant in the city i live in right now, and high end Beamers are one of their most common targets, i'd be paranoid driving it around or parking it in my driveway.

This is be better in an SUV not this car. It’s too small and the sit had to be moved up
I can see a rather limited appeal for the rear cinema screen. If you can afford to spend two hours watching a film while being chauffeured to wherever you need to go, you can probably afford to fly by helicopter instead in 30 minutes. This isn't like the small headrest displays from 20 years ago. Those were for keeping the kids quiet, and weren't costlier than the moon (haven't seen the pricing for the cinema display + top audio but it's surely 8 grand at least).
Gotta be some pretty swish kids watching films in the back of this 7 Series. A case of Be Careful What You Wish For. Also, there is no native content that will fill the screen without cropping (the dreaded C word!) so it feels wasted. Save for a couple of Cinerama films from 70 years ago which doubtless aren't available on any streaming service.

I can see any passenger I have in the back loving it. Family, vacation drives, even if I wanted to do some Lyft or Uber rides, I'm sure that would help with tips.
