Sorry for the late reply- The bike now has over 18000 miles and yes i still would buy one. I didn't replace as much as upgraded some things that most of us upgrade on bikes and the items get ware and tear. The seat, the head, the carb, directions, all just to personalize the bike. Now brake pads, chains and sprockets are ware and tear items should be checked and replaced every so often
Just bought mine after LOTS of research. Love it that you have so many miles clocked in. I will not do nearly that much. I think people don't understand that these bikes are not meant to be driven stock. If you want a stock bike that runs great buy a Honda. If you want something cooler than fuck, buy this bike.
6'2 may be a bit tight but its preference, I was 225 when i rode to Daytona Before the upgrade hitting over 70 was tough afterwards with the weaver upgrades I cruise ease between 75 -80 passing speed 85 mph and was clocked on Rt 81 doing 97mph
Granted 15000 miles is a nice milestone, but you've had to change everything on the bike pretty much to have it still run. What does it say about the quality of it? (seriously, not trying to be sarcastic). If you knew then what you know now, would you still have bought one?
Hey I'm about to join the CCW family... you said in the video the springs you had were better than the airbag? Which springs are those/ where can I get them? DId Weaver do the bracket or what that your work? Thanks man. Yup tread is still good, only replaced the front once and the rear 3 times

what's the top speed on this bike before and after the modifications? and would you recommend this bike to a person who is 6"2 250 pounds?
