- Give Raditz a main Story role
- Add another player to the Tournament of Power
- Let the earthlings step into the lime light

Honestly I find this story refreshing. As someone who has experienced betrayal by someone who I considered as a sibling, I know how much that stings. I get Raditz is remorseful over what happened, but Kakarot has every right to hold it against him. The deeper the trust and love the greater the anger and resentment. This is one lesson that both brothers are gonna have to learn from.

I know were almost supposed to see Kakarot as the "bad guy" for not forgiving raditz and being stuborn because were following the story from Radtiz' persoective an him being remorseful and all that. But kakarot doeent need to forgive him. its probably healthier form him tho but you can understand where hes coming from

If Raditz's full power gets pretty high, something tells me that might pick up certain scanners from space which could stoke Frieza's curiosity.
How far can I scanner go any way and also there's no friza outpost near Earth's solar system

@@benmackenzie8774 Doesn’t really need to be one, anyone capable of sensing Ki on a basic level can tell when an incredibly powerful individual starts drawing near to the planet. Most Frieza Force equipment isn’t capable of evaluating Ki beyond the 250,000 mark, and that’s with upgraded scanners, because anything beyond that literally causes the equipment to explode. When Raditz was refining SSJ, he likely blew out any sensors pointed anywhere near the Sol System's general direction. Which might have also ended up taking out some mooks as well, but that’s neither here nor there.
Jaco could also pick up on it. He was briefly on earth.

The spat between Bulma and Chichi was excellent. Masako proves once again how deep and complex the relationship between Kakerot and Raditz could have been with Radotz's cowardly nature plaguing him with guilt since childhood and the brothers having to come to terms with his actions: Raditz making every move to make up for it while Kakerot resenting him, feeling he's been lied to all these years. Great stuff as always

I suppose the only thing I'm surprised about is that Kakarot didn't name his son after Nappa, not unlike how Goku did G-pa Gohan. Would've been a sweet gesture in memory of the big lug that was his only true friend back during his younger years.

Honestly I'm just surprised Kakarot and Raditz never had the idea to bring him back to life. Could even be a way for Raditz to at least make sure Kakarot doesn't feel alone as a saiyan, if the rift between them isn't fixable.

Not that I'm much of a what if writer, but I think we can have a similar experience to the Freeza empire finding Broly. Freeza sends out some men, maybe even Vegeta in this case, to find strong people to recruit for further conquest. As Vegeta makes his way down to Earth Raditz is training and his ki spikes blowing up Vegetas scouter. Raditz doesn't notice the ki, but Goku recognizes it. Goku goes to confront Vegeta for a bit of payback himself and Raditz finally notices two ki signatures in the distance. Going he sees Vegeta and Goku fighitng, well really he sees Vegeta losing, and badly, but then Vegeta does the inevitable, "Lets beat Freeza together." The story progresses from there.

I can literally feel the tension in this what if. This is really keeping me on the edge of my seat.
I still think Kakarot will inevitably forgive Raditz. He just has to put away his grudge against him, put himself in his shoes, think about it carefully, and forgive him. It's a long shot, but it's there.

People, I had an epiphany. There is one person that might be able to help out both Kakarot and Raditz. The wise and gentle master himself, Grandpa Gohan.
This has become one of my favorites, along with what if Hercule was a Z fighter, it's been a while for the champ 🥺
This series is my favourite thing, currently.

One question in regards to this story, could we possibly get Ranch in this timeline, but with Bulma as her mother similar to Gohan in What If Goku Married Bulma?

Maybe a good way to take this into space would be if Kakarot decided he wanted to take Frieza out once and for all? After all, his brother may have been the reason it happened, but it was still Frieza who was the source of his misery growing up. Well, him and Vegeta anyway.

I don't think the events of Z would get pushed too far back into the timeline. Earth will still be 'on the books' so to speak with Frieza's planet brokers, so sooner or alter someone is going to come along to claim it. It might not be Vegeta, but could easily be some generic goon or a named one like Cui. That could help nudge things along, get the ol' ball rolling. Plus with Papaya Island and the Tournament arena not being blown up there would still be tournaments every few years. Or possibly some original threat we've not seen before!
True, I see vegeta going to earth even if the circumstances are drastically different.
Not to mention the android saga, and every saga after that.
This what if is slowly becoming one of my favorite, idk if it will surpass the original what if Raditz Turned good, but it will definitely give it a challenge
This is such a tense What If! It's so interesting to have the Z era begin with no Bad Bad appearing to flip things upside its head. Looking forward to seeing what's coming next.

This is one of the best what ifs. I can't wait for the next episode. None of the episodes were a let down and it had some great memorable moments. I just want to see what's planned for next.

This one is one of my favorites going right now. This and Bocksa.
Is it possible that we go right to the Android saga? If so, Gero's drones wouldn't be destroyed for some time, and he could study Raditz for a while, making it that much more important for Super Saiyan to remain a secret.
I get that this is the Saiyan race we're talking about here. But I wonder at some point the argument becomes "You place all this blame on a man for a child's actions." And as much as Kakarot can try to bush that off as nothing, his son Kyarro is probably going to have that same cowardly streak as Raditz. I wonder if that shakes things up. Also I have to wonder just how secretive Super Saiyan is here. Because Gero's bots now have every opportunity in the world to see the form ahead of time once it's made public.

I really hope this argument does get addressed. We all understand Goku's anger, and he's right to be angry, but Raditz was still a kid. I mean, good grief he was running away from the destruction of his planet and from Frieza! I feel like that deserves to be recognized.

Does this mean the first big bad will be Babidi and Buu? I doubt Giro's plans will come to pass, unless future Trunks turns up anyway. Another diversion I can see is if Kami somehow encourages them to look for Namek somehow... BUT Goku could also seek 'amends' by asking Raditz to crush the Frieza empire for/with him... A weird Saiyan style trip to make amends. Or we could go filler arc with someone like Garlic Jr.
# 001 Gero's plan will come to pass, with or without someone from the future. He is gathering data and on everyone in order to try to make the Androids and Cell. WHO becomes the big bad out of the androids determines how it all plays out.
@@bulbasaur15 I'll be honest, I don't remember what happened to the RR Army and Gero in this one. I know some of the early part was cleaned up but..
I bet it will still be Frieza. After all, Raditz is a Super Saiyan, and a likely match for Frieza's power. Frieza's scouts will eventually discover his overwhelming power and they'll have to investigate.
After that, Dr Giro hasn't been explicitly mentioned yet, so the Androids could absolutely make an appearance to avenge the RR Army's crushing defeat at Raditz's hands. No Trunks means no Time Travel and no Cell, but something could still happen to make Bulma send someone back, thus giving Cell his road in.
Aww this makes me sad, but I can definitely see Kakarot taking that Piccolo role...here's hoping the bros come together to save earth? Could we see some movie villains? Lord Slug or Turles perhaps? Or is it straight to Androids?
This makes more sense than Vegeta or The Frieza Empire getting lucky to find Earth

The only way I can think of Vegeta getting involved is if some random scout ship from Frieza's forces picks up on Raditz power, and puts the Frieza force on alert.
Earth could easily be the next planet on the list to be conquered. So yeah. Goons like cui go to earth and discover kakarot and then notify frieza since he still has a bounty on his head. And we have the frieza saga on earth

Wow… I knew that there was no chance that Kakarrot would forgive Raditz but I still held hope that there might be a small chance that he would. Though I know that Kakarrot has a good reason not to forgive him. Hopefully their relationship can mend. It looks like Raditz and Kakarrot’s relationship is now the new Goku/Piccolo rivalry.
Yeah growing up in alot of pain and misery its gotta be tough on the dude and I understand why he would be upset but Radtiz knew he was coward and he dosent deny that fact and is willing to own up to his mistakes on trying to protect him using the orbs and yeah Kakarot was safe the whole time but he didn't want it of course and yeahhh holding grudges isn't healthy on Kakarot's end
@@imperfectmyst True Kakarrot’s anger is justified but he needs to see it from Raditz’s side. Yes Raditz had been living a better life on Earth BUT he’d been beating himself up on the inside for years for what he did. The guilt of his actions weighing down on his heart for years, not to mention Bardock, their own Father, beating him to a pulp and ruthlessly disowning him for what he did. And now he’s been disowned again by his own brother, the last blood family he has. Yes Raditz made that decision but he’s trying to make up for it.

@@tmntfangirl4700 like Kakarot feels hella pained in the thumbnail wanting to love his brother again but its that mental struggle is preventing that I think so I think maybe like a majin Kakrot vs radtiz maybe they will eventually reconcile then
@@imperfectmyst True it may have to come to that for the brothers to reconcile with each other. Kakarrot needs to let go of the bottled up resentment towards his brother in order to move on. How that’ll happen is a good question. If it does come to Kakarrot becoming Majin for that to happen… it’ll be an epic fight for sure.
I wouldn't be surprised if their kids are what eventually lead to things getting mended between the two. Perhaps the two cousins discover each other by accident and get along, and things go from there? Just brainstorming.
This feels like of really good story with rabbits I can't wait to see where it comes up in the next part

The cold war between brothers (Mostly on Kakarot side) I wonder how long this will last. 🤔 Since Kakarot grew up differently I wonder if this changes Kyarro's personality some then his canon self like for example Kyarro is more open to training, and is training with Kakarot when not studying of course. Also make me wonder if this will lead to Bulla making the first move to bring the family back together. So no Vegeta or Frieza showing up does this mean the Android Saga is coming, because if so this is bad since this would know about SSJ thanks to the Spy robots lets hope a Future Time Travel or Travels show up to warn everybody about them. Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
Maybe you could add the Garlic Jr. Saga to replace the Saiyan Saga until we get to Namek or something

@@OnyxXThePunch Look the dynamics would be much better if Krillin resurrected and converted into Android N*18 got involved with Tights. That would add incredible weight to the narrative.
Vegeta staying with Bonyu would be much more interesting for the story, as it would bring a new perspective to Vegeta.
Can you imagine several surviving members of Frieza's Armies and platoons on Earth taken prisoner or in space under the command of (King) Vegeta IV and Bonyu his Queen?!

This one, I really like. Its more down to earth and different than other stories that involve raditz. Cant wait for more in the future
I don't know how to feel about this bitter version of Kakarot. It just feels wrong somehow. Although I suppose trauma can do terrible things.

I’ve had a rough week and this Raditz story helped a ton! Especially because I had a similar experience with my younger brother. Aside from the abandoning him to Frieza
The cover image gave me chills. And had me humming the Tournament of Power theme from Super
I dont blame kakarot for being upset but I think if he continues to hold on to that grudge it won't be a healthy mindset to carry
I imagine the main hindrance to kakarot forgiving his brother is that he thinks things would have been better if they had stayed together.
Unfortunately chances are neither would have ever got to the point they are now and would have just both been under the boot of a galactic tyrant with no supportive Nappa either I imagine.
I think we're about to get a dark ending unless Raditz decided to try convince Kakarot to help him take down Frieza but I'm not sure if even that would work

perhaps the catalyst for space travel and z shenanigans could be kami wanting to find out more about his origins as a nemekian? although frieza wouldn't have knowledge of the dragon balls, namek seems be a planet with quite a bit of water and resources for farming- conveniently vegeta could be making a visit to prepare the planet for frieza as he has no reason to go to earth?

Ooo, It would make for a good twist if vegeta during his missions or interstellar travels stumbled upon yardrat and perhaps trained there to unlock more of his potential? Perhaps during his mental traning under pybara he would grow more and more disloyal to frieza, And start to plot against him? Since in his mind he is the last of the saiyans, He may see this as something has to be done, To give himself personal satisfaction and closure after his life long servitude to the galactic tyrant?

Bulla and Kayarro could meet each other if they get to Orange Star High School. Bulma and Chichi would definitely want to have their children to get some form of education. They won't know that they are related to each other until the 25th World Martial Arts Tournaments were they challenge each other, starting first as a friendly competition but becoming a battle that for who is right between their fathers. This could be the point where both brothers starts agreeing that their problems with each other are starting to affect there children, and should find a common ground. Though I could see Babidi turning Goku into Majin Goku before things starts to get resolve between the both of them.
I think it would've been beneficial for Raditz to allow Kakarot to just go to town on him, and just let it get it out of his system. All the hurt, the sadness, the resentment, the anger, everything. Just get it out, because if it stays there it could turn him into something ugly. Raditz is the source of his brother's pain, and he has to take on his brother's wrath, if they're going to start over again and move on, and then when Kakarot begins to wear down, he hugs him.
I don't think Kakarot would be happy with that. He doesn't want Raditz to hold back. Remember, they're saiyans, not humans. He got mad when he could sense that Raditz was holding back against him.

I binge listened to this, while at work all today and it lasted most of my shift. Was a hell of a ride. Nice twists and turns. Was a very pleasant way to spend a dull shift XD.

I predict that Vegeta is gonna show up being WAYYYYY more powerful or maybe even Frieza will show up. Does Frieza still have Kakarot's ship? Maybe he decides to look into it and sees the coordinates for earth?
Maybe instead of Picollo Jr. They'll need to release king Picollo, and have him fuse with Kami to become the super namekian inorder to have a chance in fighting them.

Hey Masako, I really like this What If, and I just had a (imo) BRILLIANT idea to remix the Namec saga accordingly to the themes of this story: what about adding Cooler to the mix, somehow? Having the 2 pair of brothers fighting tag team style against each other? Especially considering Kakarot have many bones to pick with Frieza (many more than Raditz, who barely ever saw him), while Raditz VS Cooler would be a nice touch to this brotherly tale. There is another impetus to start DBZ. Either the Galactic Patrol shows up again, or a Frieza Force scouting party shows up. In fact, the possibility of a FF scout ship showing up to evaluate the planet and catching the huge energy signatures, might be enough to send some of the other strong FF members to the planet. Not necessarily Vegeta, Zarbon, Dodoria or the Ginyu Force. But maybe Cui or someone else in roughly the 20K power range?
Vegeta could still visit Earth. Mind you that Vegeta's whole ordeal in the beginning is the defeat of Frieza. Kakarot DID mention the existence of Raditz and in pursuit of his revenge Vegeta could seek him out. When he finds Raditz, he also learns about Kakarot's survival and the two brothers have no option but to work together to defeat him. Surely Raditz as a Super Saiyan has the power, but Kakarot has very important knowledge about Vegeta and the Frieza Force. Vegeta just might be the catalyst for the brothers to reunite.
Where's Nappa Junior? I wanted Gohan to be Nappa Junior considering his close connection.
