I love how people say that DB has the least promising, simple and straightforward plot in comparison to other shounens but Masako's creativity in those What Ifs just shows how many possibilities and potential there is in its storylines.
It’s because of how bland the original story is. MasakoX’s What Ifs (most of them anyway) are the only reason I still indulge in Dragon Ball. If it wasn’t for that, I probably would’ve dropped the series as a whole except for the games. And also, potential means nothing if the original source doesn’t use it. Masako does which is why his what ifs are MUCH more enjoyable.

Seriously, last minute out of No Where Krillin comes out; halo above his head, with Fortune Teller Baba and Bulma (Halo as well) coming to the rescue with Senzu Beans brought by Yajirobi. Have it be that, Master Roshi on a whim contacted Babba and told her of the Gravity of the Situation and saying “I will owe you anything, even being that little punk’s teacher over me. Not to mention, think of how much that Brief’s girl will owe you Baba.” See Krillin wasn’t fully corrupted, and offering the chance to come back, set the record straight, and to given the chance to train in a field of fighting that not even Radditz could gain access to, that will have a wealth of powers untapped in Dragon Ball lore… well why wouldn’t the Space Duck bite the Salt and Vinegar Potato Chip and work with the heroes?
I'm very happy that you're sticking with Raditz x Bulma, Masako. We've got Raditz x Launch in "What If Raditz turned good" so in this one it's way better to explore new potential pairing resulting from _this_ scenario, their dynamic and potential future kids instead of just repeating/rehashing the same relationship for the second time.

While Vegeta and Nappa knew it is unclear when they encounter Namekians. It was likely one some mission post their world being destroyed and Raditz never showed any signs of knowing Piccolo was a Namkeian in Z so it makes sense.
Even if Raditz knew of namekians in the original story (I don't know if it's confirmed), it makes sense he wouldn't know in this one. This Raditz didn't spend those decades working for Frieza and exploring the galaxy.

I checked the power level chart on the DBZ wiki while watching the GT movie about Goku Jr, and found out that according to it the king Piccolo arc could have been resolved by the ox king, who was said to have at the time of Dragon Ball, the overwhelming power level of 900.

I think the mastered form is super saiyan. The origin of it was completely intertwined in Toriyama's design process for super saiyan and it was inserted into the movie timeline roughly as an intermediate place as Goku was growing towards that capacity.
.... Nope, wouldn't make sense to "master" fake super saiyan, and frankly it wouldn't make for good storytelling considering what the form's concept is. Better for him to get it unconsciously in burst, and for him to learn super saiyan later on to replace it.
