Oh wow!! Yes thank you so much for that idea!! Yes yes, that would be amazing! I have some copper poly satin which may work, will have to see if I can make binding from it or look out for some. Thanks! 💡 ❤️
I started organising my stash in 2018. Length x width. Fabric composition, price per metre, Supplier, date purchased, where stored in the house (!). Plus a small swatch stapled to the page. Also date used, pattern number plus any alterations to pattern. When I have used any fabric, that page is transferred to another file - completed projects. Fabric left over is remeasured and put on a new page as above and filed. I also have a photo file on my computer with photos of finished sewing projects. Stash hub is good, but you can’t clip a fabric swatch to it!
Wow, you are inspiring!! 🤩 I’m not sure I could ever reach that fabulous level of organisation, but I’m determined to get a handle on my stash. I love the idea of having the photos of the finished garments from the fabric too, although I guess I sort of use Instagram for that… it’s going to take me a while, but it’ll be worth it, I’m sure you never have a problem finding fabric for a project as you have it all to hand. I definitely want to get to that stage. Thanks for sharing!
I love the fabrics you've chosen. The problem with stashes is that they grow so easily and what you once loved your now not sure of.I am looking forward to seeing your stash and what you decide to make.
Hi Sarah. I love how you follow your own style with fabrics and patterns. It's great the vision you have, too. I'm looking forward to seeing all those plans come together next year.
Ah thank you so much! My plan is to try and only use my stash (and not buy anything else until it’s used) as I have so many lovely fabrics which I need to use, but I’m not bold enough to make that pledge on my channel as I’m sure I’m not strong enough to follow it through completely 🫣😂. It’s something to aim for though.
Woohooooo! Can’t wait for this collab! Your cozy white fabric looks amazing as a contender! Can’t wait for my fabric to arrive and get cracking on the pullover 🤩 I am loving that animal foil print for a Heather Blazer too ❤ Chat soon x
I know now you have had your colours done what you think of this stash? I know you pretty much knew what suited you anyway but the bright scuba was such a great addition in among the more muted colours! I have Stash Hub and won’t say it’s helping me get sewing but at least I know what I have 🤪 too many fabrics 😢 I am looking forward to seeing all your plans x
Ah thank you so much! Yes I’m also a bit scared to get it all on stash hub, then I know exactly how much I have! 🫣. I agree, I think I need the odd splash of colour to lift the more muted tones definitely 👍🏼
Go on Sarah 🎉😂. Nice to have a fabric splurge sometimes. Stash Hub will be great for you to work through things! I have the monstera leaves too but don’t know what to make with it! x
Thank you! I’m hoping it will be one of those fabric which miraculously transforms into a garment I like once it’s made up! 😂. I think even I am going to be a bit shocked with the amount I’ve stashed over the years once I start to log it… 🫣😳. It all needs to get made up or de stashed, this is the year to do it!! 💪🏼 🥰
Love stash hub, if the fabrics are still on the website the magic input makes life easy. There is a fb group. Had my colours done, I'm a warm spring and apple shape. 😊 merry Christmas Sarah x
Ah how funny, when I had my colours done about 25 years ago, I was also a warm spring I tend to wear autumn colours more now, so will be interesting to see. Yes I can definitely see that you would be warm spring! 🥰. Thanks for the info about stash hub, will definitely check that out. xxx
Love all ur fabrics
Thanks!! 🤩
That rose decanter fabric would make an amazing jo dress with copper binding xx

I've used that Rose and Hubble swallow fabric before. It's lovely to work with and has worn pretty well.

Love the scuba fabric Sarah, and the quilting cotton, the colours really suit you.
Thank you so much, I’m looking forward to making something a bit brighter!! 😄
I made a Lyra out of the green monstera. It came out really well but the fabric really frays!
Ooh yes I can see it as a Lyra. Do you have an instagram account I can see a photo? Thanks for the tip about the fabric as well.
@@sewsarahstyle I have Instagram but I’ve not uploaded a photo yet. It’s hard to get decent photos in the winter. I’ll tag you when I do.
Best wishes on your goal to get a handle on your stash.
Many thanks, I think I’m going to need it!! Actually quite excited to shop my stash!!

@@sewsarahstyle we can borrow from autumn 😁
Yey! 🍂 🥰😂
xXX👍👍👍
Hi Sarah, who was your quilting cotton from? I couldn't quite catch the name. TY
Hi, sorry for the dodgy pronunciation, it was fleur et ours! 😂 the name of the fabric is Steps above Four from eclectic intuition by AGF studio.
@@sewsarahstyle Thank you so much.
Hi. What was the name of the Fibre old pattern you mentioned.
Hi, sorry, I forgot to add it, it’s the Fibremood Luz cardigan pattern, my absolute favourite to be honest!
