How to make my watermelon tourmaline, gemstone dragonfly necklace.
1. Wire wrap, 26 4 mm faceted round tourmaline stones onto 24 gauge ball head pins
2. Cut 2 inches of open link cable chain
3. Take 1 eye pin and add 2 inches of cable chain and close pin. Add one large spacer bead and slide end of pin through all bead caps. Wire wrap a loop on the top of the Bead cap. This will be where your necklace attaches to the tassel.
4. Open link and add two stones. For each subsequent link, you want to open a cable chain-link add one stone add previous cable chain back onto open link and add another stone and close open link. You want to do this the link of the tassel to form a tassel. you want to have one stone on each side of the cable chain so it is balanced so that way you don’t have stones grouping up on one side.
5. Take 8 mm filigree bead cap and pin, and 1- 8 mm watermelon tourmaline stone. Slide the bead cap and then the stone onto the pin and wire wrap loop closed.
6. Take dragonfly, pendant and curl tail to form a loop
7. Take 6 mm heavy gauge jump ring and attached dragonfly to one 8mm watermelon tourmaline stone.
8. Take a 6 mm heavy gauge jump ring and attached to base of the other 8 mm stone.
** I forgot to add the rhinestone bead in the video. you want to attach the small oval rhinestone bead over the 8 mm stone on one side. *** as In photo
9. Take another 6 mm heavy gauge, jumping and attach both stones to the top of the tassel with one jump ring in between both stones over the top over the bead cap tassel
10. Take pens and create a chain using 5 mm watermelon tourmaline stones.
11. You want 15 stones on the side of the necklace attaching to 18 mm stone.
12. You want 13 stones that attached to the side with the dragonfly.
13. Wire wrap two loops on each end of the stone and attached together by opening a loop and closing the loop around at the previous loop stone and create chain.
14. Cut desired length of regular chain and attached to the top of each side of watermelon termite stone chain.
15. Add a lobster clasp and jumping and the top center of the chain. And you’ve created a necklace!
