Thank God you have no pain. Anxious to see what size mine is. Good luck with surgery. Stay away from oxalate especially. Spinach and chocolates and drink alot. Love your channel. Glad to see you are doing better .
Do you keep your phone with you most of the time? You can just keep a shopping list on there so you don't have to worry about not having your list when you're out and about. We have Alexa devices around the house and just tell it to add someone to our list, them we can check the lists on our phone and check them off at any time. That makes it a lot easier to keep track of things - whenever the ketchup spurts when I go to use it or I think "I want to have carbonara for dinner soon," I just have to speak to get it on the list. It's great to have it so effortless and immediate with ADHD!
Praise the LORD! Thank you Jesus, for giving our precious friend your peace, not as the world but, Your ( Jesus) own peace 🤗! You Are constantly in my prayers! Love you 🥰 ♥️
Hey hun just a suggestion, I alway use an app on my phone for lists, especially “must buy”. This way the lists come with you everywhere, you will never get to the shop and forget your list. Also one less piece of clutter to keep track of in the bathroom (potential notebook). ❤
I LOOOOOVE that the voice over matches the video today!! I'm a big fan of your videos and watch them all but sometimes I find it difficult to listen to you speak about one topic while the video is showing you declutter plus written text on screen at the same time. It's so nice to hear you comment about what you're doing in real time. Thank you! And I hope you get well soon!
Yesssss!! I often can’t focus on what’s going on…talking, decluttering and text on screen to read makes me have to keep rewatching sections of the video. Then when there’s all that AND music I lose all focus…. I thought it was just me! I do still love watching though. Just miss the old way of videos.
The notebook idea is good one. I take pictures so I remember what exact brand and color I need. Then I can throw the empty container away right away. Speedy recovery to you! 🤗
I think you have a clear drawer thing already emptied in your basement that had previously housed paper stuff and ribbons. Use that and label what’s in it. I’d suggest you shop the basement for a couple small baskets, too. You had a little shelf as well that might be good for nail polish. Command hooks are great to hold the various makeup bags
Maybe you could put your nail stuff into the larger caboodle and condense the other 2 into one. Before you buy something to organize under the sink maybe check the basement to see if there’s anything there that you can use. Or maybe if your oldest son has some drawers in his closet that he doesn’t want anymore try to see if that would fit
There are also those 3 tier rolling carts. Then you could pull the supplies out from under the cabinet and really have good access and visibility of your items.
For the empties that you want to re-buy, you could have a special little dish/container on the counter that you put the empties in. 1.) When you use something up, it's exactly as easy to put it in the empties container as putting it back in its normal spot, 2.) It leaves a space in the normal spot for the new item to go, 3.) It's super easy to glance at the dish and see what you need to re-buy, 4.) It's easy to throw things away once you do replace them since they're already separated. I'm picturing a pretty decorative painted dish, that way it looks good when it's empty, and not like an unfilled storage container.
2024 and I'm hoping and praying that all went to well today on your first surgery. I will also keep you in my thoughts on February 6th. I hope they can easily get the kidney stone out and that you recover quickly from both of the procedures 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏
Personal preference haha but I wouldn't store items under the sink if possible because it's easily forgotten and makes it hard to clean the floor. Extra soaps etc. could go in the same cupboard where all extra bath stuff goes, extra cleaners where other cleaners go, etc. A lot of the extra makeup could maybe just be donated now before it expires vs. needing a storage home because you might not want that much inventory since it's hard to use up large quantities of bath/beauty products before expiration. A shelf / using vertical space seems like a nice way to keep things you actually use in sight but off the counter for easier cleaning. Hope you heal well!
CHANCA PIEDRA is something I give my dad to take, he had a large kidney stone like you did and they did laser surgery to get it but the chanca breaks up stones. Him and I both avoid coffee and spinach and since 2022 he has been ok, no stone pain. Hope this may help you to try it and hope you feel better :)
i had 2 kidney stone surgeries 6 months apart the pain was unreal. I am thankful for the wisdom of the Doctors & living in our country where we can have surgery & not wait for months as in 3rd world countries .You di an awesome job on your bathroom!
Making a shopping list is a great idea! I sometimes take photos of empties for future reference. It’s convenient to ‘hide’ them using the hide function. That way they are easy to find and don’t clutter up your device’s camera roll. I can totally see how your counters have evolved from your early videos! Well done, you!! 💖✨
Take pictures of things you need to buy and have a specific album for it on your phone. That way it's always with you and if you ever need help remembering what the packaging looks like, or have to ask a store worker where to find it, you can just pull it up! I have ADHD and this is so helpful for me!
The shelf to hold the gems, that you don’t need to declutter regularly, is a brilliant idea. You won’t have to go around it when you are using the consumables on a daily basis either. I also like the in-bathroom recycling bin and the clear drawers. I can’t wait to see the finished project. I hope you’re recovering comfortably from your first procedure and good thoughts to you on your next procedure.
I’m a student nurse on urology - so I work with kidney stones and surgery for kidney stones on a daily basis. I see the way the nurses look at each other when the kidney stones are like 15mm. 19/20mm stone is absolutely massive. I’m so glad to hear that you’ve been pain free
Instead of a notebook, you may want to consider keeping a list of what you need to replace/buy on your phone. That way you have it with you when you are out shopping! I do that for my groceries and it works really well for me. 😊 thanks for your videos!
As you read this I hope that the procedure done today went well and your outlook for the next surgery is just as good. By the way, that bathroom cleaned up really nice. And so quick!
Just prayed that your recovery will go well from this first procedure and that your second procedure will go well also. Prayed that the Dr, surgery assistants, and even you get a good night sleep the night before. God’s blessings on you 😊.
I had a stone around 60 mm in my kidney and needed to remove it by operation, it took over 3 h to do. My last one I hade was 6 mm and it was hard to pass so needed to blast it in half, before I could pass it. So I know the struggle with having kidney stones 🥺 I hope you are doing much better 😊
I had a kidney stone about two years ago. It was only about 4-6mm but I was never able to pass it even after waiting for a whole month. When it broke free in my kidney it was excruciating. I would never wish that on anyone. I had to have a lithotripsy procedure to break it up and I still had trouble passing the sediment after it was broken up. The procedure wasn’t painful but it still took me about a month to feel back to normal. I hope you recover well. Please take your time to heal and feel better. We will all be here when you feel up to making content again. ❤❤❤
Prayers for an uncomplicated and speedy recovery! 🩺 Excellent idea to get the bathroom decluttered before your first surgery - nice work!👏👏👏🦄 From Canada 🇨🇦
A mini white board or chalkboard that you can stick to the wall might be good too if the notebook doesn’t work out! Also, colorpop’s makeup pans are magnetized - meaning if you’ve used up most of a palette but have a couple shades left and are waiting on them to throw it out, you can pop those shades out and stick them on a magnetized palette to downsize faster, just a heads up! Best of luck on the recovery, stay strong and safe!
It’s all about how much we own , I have 3 pencils for makeup lips eyebrows eyes, one bottle body moisture one bottle perfume that’s all I need , how different we all are !! I think I have just made a choice not to keep working for our stuff it now works for me 👍🏻👍🏻
You flew through your bathroom declutter!! Way to go!! I love the idea of a shelf for your crystals. I can't believe the size of your kidney stone - that's insane! Praying for your recovery and next surgery!
I'm pretty sure my husband is a butterfly too. I'm finally figuring this out after 20 years. It helps to know so he can find things in our home and put them away where they go.
so good! great job + great ideas -- divided trash can for recyclables too + the notebook :) you are such an inspiration! + all the best with your recovery - God bless!
I just watched Dawn’s podcast with Matt Paxton, and you were mentioned! It’s so cool, because the hoarders’ show was what compelled you to speak up for hoarders❤ Take good care recovering, and looking forward to seeing more decluttering✨🦄✨
Best wishes on surgeries!!! I do remember the episodes you made to declutter your girl space. So proud of you for being able to clean/declutter so quickly. I am a big fan of vertical storage space! I thinks your special stones in the wall is an excellent idea. Good luck finding one, maybe spice racks would work??? Thank you!
So glad to hear your kidney is still ok. My husband had a 3cm stone that blocked the bloodflow so he lost function in about 40%. Sending good vibes to you for a quick recovery!!!
I put the empty container in my purse so the next time I am in town, I will remember to pick up the item. It is an irritant so I don’t leave it there very long. Then the empty one and any packaging gets recycled. Also getting a garbage container with 2 sections is a great idea. You are doing so well with recognizing when clutter is starting to creep back in. Love to watch your progress and Pepper’s supervising.
Girl. First of all, I hope your procedures go well. Second, you are a DIYer. Get you some sticky tile flooring for that bathroom. It will be totally worth it.
Use clear rust-oleum on the bottom of the soap. If you use clear nail polish, it needs several layers. I also think stacking clear bins on top of your counter instead would be better than underneath. It seems you tend to forget to look under the sink and might see the things you want to use if you have vertical clear storage on the counter 🙂
Yes, have recycling baskets/bins where the recycling stuff happens! I have one in my kitchen and one in my office. They're both next to the regular trash. Whenever they're full, they get dumped in the big recycling bin in the garage.
Yay! First part of surgery over and done! Half way there!! 💞💐🦄
Yesssss!! The first procedure went well! Very sore and tired but resting home until Tuesday ❤️🙏🏼❤️ 3 more days!! lol
Thank God you have no pain. Anxious to see what size mine is. Good luck with surgery. Stay away from oxalate especially. Spinach and chocolates and drink alot. Love your channel. Glad to see you are doing better .

When you start your list, be sure to date it. And 2 trash baskets is a great idea!
You have some of those little felt sticky things that go on furniture legs. Put one of those on your sparkly soap dispenser to keep up off the counter
I make a photo , and have a folder on my phone called "shopping" 😊
Maybe you could put your nail stuff into the larger caboodle and condense the other 2 into one. 19mm!!!!! That’s huge. My daughter had a 4mm and couldn’t pass it. I hope for a speedy recovery!!!
Dont do pen and paper I write it in my phone so it's on me when I'm out ❤ Yessss bathroom make over new flooring and cabinet with draws 🎉
I am praying for you.
Nice job on cleaning and decluttering your small bathroom...it looks very pretty. 😍 Prayers for healing, strength and peace. 🙏
Thank you so so much ❤️🙏🏼❤️ Your prayers means so much to my heart 🦄🙏🏼🌟💜
We love you! Speedy recovery vibes! Shelves would be great!
Awe, love you too!! Your loving vibes mean everything to me!!! Thank you so so much 🦄🌟🌟🙏🏼
You have gotten so much faster at decluttering this bathroom. Hope the surgery went well!
Thank you so so much ❤️🙏🏼❤️ My first surgery went well, just sore and tired. 3 more days until the next surgery and then we fully recover!!!
Hope todays surgery went well! Sending well wishes for the 6th! Recover and rest all you need 💞
I think if you put a dry erase board up & then take a picture before shopping you’ll know what you need without having to keep empty bottles.

I really like to see the tossy tossy piles. Well done. Praying for you to have a complete recovery from your surgeries.
Thank you so much my friend, your loving prayers mean so much to me 💜🦄🌟🙏🏼
Dear Mrs.❤. So relieved you are on the way to recovery. Wonderful work in your bath!

I use those short daisy baskets for everything!
Laminate flooring that looks like hardwood is so pretty. Would like to get that someday. Dawn the minimal mom has some that is so nice.
