Oh my gosh!!!! You did all of your Fall and Halloween in ONE video! When you said all of those costumes were going my jaw dropped. And that tossy tossy pile! I'm blown away.
Either these will make an amazing fall yard sale spread or they'll be an entire display in a charity shop 😍 the decor will bring so many other people so much joy.
I have been following you for a good while now. I also struggle, and find your videos incredibly inspirational. I also have to say how amazing you are. I remember, the early days before you even would show your face, and how real the struggle was. Thank you!! Not only for the journey we continue on, but your honesty in what your going through!!
Your home is going to feel so festive when you start decorating. The best part is that you're going to remember that you have such beautiful decor and you were able to let go of everything that didn't spark joy! What a good feeling!
Wow, wow, wow! The progress you've made is incredible! You should be incredibly proud of yourself!!! All of us who've been watching for awhile definitely are proud of you!
Amazing job and what a pleasant surprise! I think with the attic being cleared out you should think about switching so that ALL your decor is together in the basement and something else is in the attic. Maybe your super sentimental things that you don't need to constantly see, just know they're safe somewhere. Maybe a konmari on all of the boys stuff you want to keep soon?
I’m tearing up. You have come so far. I’m so proud of you for all the work you’ve done to get to this point. Thank you for being such a good example for us!!!
I struggle with many compulsive behaviors and psychological issues, and I cannot describe how much you inspire me to recover! The strength and courage in your journey give me so much hope for healing. May Allah continues to bless you with recovery so that you may continue to inspire all those who are suffering. Sending lots of love from Palestine♥️
How is she inspiring? Why are you following advice from someone who is still sick? She is still in the miiddle of the sickness. Follow someone who has actually improved!!!!
As a teacher, I have been busy going back to school so it’s been a little while since I have watched. This video incapsulates everything I love about your vibe! Thank you for being vulnerable and reminding us of what’s possible.
I am SO excited for the positive energy that this is putting in to the universe. Imagine wanting to help your kids and now you can get some great things at a thrift store to help them out.
I think the Konmari method is so helpful when it comes to holiday decor (if you have a ton). Once you see the vastness of your collection, it makes it easier to pass on the joy to someone else. Great job today!
Color me really impressed! I was in awe every time you so easily said «yeah, no. Doesn’t spark joy» and «is it cute? Yes. But I’ll never put it out, so it can go». The hoarded attic must be much less hoarded now 🎉🎉🎉
Wow. That was absolutely amazing. Well done to you Miss Heart ❤️ and your family for letting so much go. Ye are spreading joy to others who will enjoy these items as much as ye did. I’m not surprised Miss Pepper 🐈 is tired after all that work/supervising/investigating. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐈
That's amazing! I feel that most British folk tend not to decorate for each season in the same way that US people do. We do Christmas, Halloween, and sometimes Easter, but that's about it for most of us. My main concession to seasonal decor is one bin for Christmas. I have one vase of artificial flowers that I change out seasonally, and that's it. I love to see US homes with all their pretty stuff, but I could not be bothered to do that myself.
I'm near Chicago. I do one centerpiece each month. Most people I know don't decorate this much. I had one friend who went overboard like this. Tina, Al's wife
People on socal media are not a represenation of what most americans are like. Most americans dont decorate beyond Christmas, halloween, and easter (if that), and most of us have far less decor for each of those things than she does
I LOVE watching your Konmari style videos! It’s SO, I don’t know, satisfying maybe, to see ALL of the stuff laid out neatly and then see what has been weeded out. So much mental weight off of your shoulders! Congratulations! I hope this gave you lots of motivation to propel you forward!!
I love declutterring and didn’t understand how difficult it could be for people until watching your channel. Now I recommend your channel to anyone who has a large amount of declutterring ahead of them and/or is a beginner to declutterring. You make it so approachable.
Your message made me so so happy 🩷🙏🏼🩷 Thank you so so much for suggesting my video, my prayer is that it helps them start their decluttering journey too 🌟🌟
September 2024. My kids ages 50, 47, and 43, always wore homemade costumes. My grandkids did, too. My husband and I wear shirts, hats, and accessories if we go to a party or event. I give pencils. Tina, Al's wife
You can make so many families happy with that much stuff. I'm being an official greeter again this year and I have nowhere near this much. Tina, Al's wife
I would love to see a follow up video of this where you take all this to a donation center or post it on you neighborhood buy nothing group. The joy you will be giving to so many people who struggle to buy decor or costumes. Way to pass on your blessings to others!
What an achievement! I am so glad that you allowed us to follow your journey from the beginning because the change in you is so dramatic. It´s wonderful to witness so much healing in such a visible way and it´s very encouraging for everyone. And now you can enjoy your selected items and all the new space 🧡
So proud of you!!! Also a big "shout out" to the rest of the family for making it a group decision. Perfect timing for your fall Yard Sale! So many items, still in great condition!!! Best wishes!!!
You are brave. I just love it when people are open about their addictions, hang ups and issues. I find it very refreshing that instead of denial and hiding it we just admit it and go from there. As my doctor once told me, "everyone has something".
I know! I was thinking about what a blessing all those costumes could be to people at a yard sale in the fall. Costumes have gotten so expensive! Way to go, Miss Heart! That had to have been exhausting to do, and you did an amazing job!
I remember when you didn’t want to be on camera in the beginning. Now you are a professional TH-camr & great famous persona. Did you ever guess this would happen when you first started? It would make a neat video to show your progress on how / why you started vlogging, how your family lived with it- just some cute stuff. If not the content you are providing is great! It’s just that you’ve come a long way being comfy sharing & helping others.
Woooooow. Just wow. You've been saying you were going to get fall decor out of the attic but I wasn't expecting such a video so soon and I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting so much to be heading out the door! It's amazing to see what you've accomplished and how your brain and nervous system are slowly but surely re-setting. Good for you!
You are letting go of so many things which other people will be overjoyed to have today- that must be a wonderful feeling. I know other families are going to wear those costumes and put up those decorations this year and feel so much joy. Halloween is my absolute favourite time of the year (I have 24/7 decorations which would in other homes be Halloween decorations and then 2 boxes of Halloween decorations when I only have one box for Christmas) so I LOVE that you are spreading the joy of the season and keeping the things you are looking forward to decorating with!
Well done! All that stuff made me feel anxious when you started. I’ve never even seen that much Halloween decoration in a shop before! It not a big deal in Australia. Partly because it’s Spring here at the time. I feel like American consumerism has really done a number on you guys for decades, well done on breaking the shopping habit too. It looks very freeing
It is great to let go of stuff. We recently cleared out a 12x16 foot storage shed. This thing was packed with all our furniture and kids' stuff and our childhood stuff. It wasn't doing anything for us. We are now in the process of converting it into a camping cabin or if need be a place for my dad in the future. It's amazing how much space, time, and energy we are taking up with things!
LOL. I loved you in this video and it's cool to see it all laid out like that. Fall decor and stuff is a huge weakness for me too. We have like candles we haven't even burned yet and leftover wax that can't finish burning down that I want to re-melt together and I just. Can't. Ah. I love pumpkins 😭
Sooooo proud of you. I’ve been subscribed to you since the beginning & watching the amount you’ve been decluttering lately, you should be proud of yourself - you’ve come a long way & you’re absolutely killing it ❤❤❤
You will make so many kids happy with those costumes this year. Even the adult ones are good for bigger kids. My son was always so tall and we could only afford second hand and it was hard to find ones to fit ❤
Wow what a great let go!!!! 😊You did a great job about being realistic about what pieces and items you enjoy and which ones aren't working for you anymore.
Hi! I would just be curious to know how many tubs was left after the purge?(It would be great to see a picture of that, just as a cleared space is shown in the end.) it looks like maybe a third of it went? Great job! ❤
This episode jumped to the top of my favorites list! That tossy, tossy pile was amazing! You have come so far and grown so much! Way to go Ms Heart and Ms Pepper! ❤
I love your commitment to not buy any new decor and I LOVE your videos where you craft from your stash. It always inspires me to go look through what I have and make something. ❤
Fantastic work! I've been working on decluttering for about two years now with the help of several TH-camrs! Still a work in progress. I found out about a local Buy Nothing group and have been giving away tons of stuff through that FB group. Buy Nothing takes a bit of work but I am just not up to doing yard sales like I used to do. Last year I decluttered all of my son's Halloween costumes from when he was little (he is now 22). I was emotionally attached to the costumes because of the memories they triggered for me. I realized I have photos of him wearing those costumes and I didn't need to keep the actual costumes. People on Buy Nothing were so excited to get those costumes and many sent me photos of their kids wearing them. How joyful seeing that instead of the costumes being stored in bins in my basement. Keep up the great work, I look forward to watching your videos!!
Wow!!!! You are amazing! I got chills when you said you almost don’t feel like a hoarder anymore! Inspiring for sure!! Keep up the good work!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have two bins for holiday decor. One is for Christmas and the other is for the other holidays. The second one has Valentines, Easter, patriotic, and Thanksgiving. Right now I am ready to downsize both bins. One door item and a few in the house is enough for me! You did well, Mel! Lots were let go. After you decorate, please donate any items not used! Plus I think you have yard items?
I am so proud of you!!! I've been watching your channel from the beginning..... I think you have made such a great example of slowly and methodically decluttering... wonderfully inspiring!
Wow. Thats amazing progress! Its been so amazing to see your growth and healing....and huge tossy tossy piles! So proud of you. Im sure you feel so much lighter after these declutters!
That was a lot to work with! I would have been totally overwhelmed too! Thank you for sharing how to overcome this feeling. You are so courageous and so smart! Congrats that you were able to let go so much in such a short time! 👏👏👏👏 I was not expecting this. You are such an inspiration!!! Also your timing is perfect, there is enough time to get these things donated or sold in the yard sale for the upcoming season. Great job! 👍
That was fantastic, well done for getting to this stage that you can get rid of all that stuff. And just think of the amount of joy all that stuff is going to bring to so many people when they discover it for themselves.
So nice to be part of this collab with you! As someone who has hoarder parents it's so nice to see you tackle this. I only wish my parents were this ruthless in letting go. Amazing work!
You did awesome! You rock it Girl! I remember the first time I watched you declutter. You could hardly throw away a piece of paper. And see you now! ❤❤❤❤
1. You did such a great job! 2. When I saw all of the stuff i just burst out "Oh My Goodness!!!" 3. Thanks for explaining how to refocus on the task and reduce overwhelm
Oh Melanie, I'm so pleased for you, that you've got to this place, with soooo much perseverence, where this is a celebration, not a struggle. You, dear one, spark joy in us!
Hi, I'm so happy it's getting easier for you to let go of a lot of things. I wish I was at your level, but getting there. God willing, it will get easier and easier for me too.
Amazing job! Very inspiring to see how much you were able to let go of. I also love the orange bins for Halloween, so easy to see where they are in the attic and know what’s in them. Awesome job! Xx
Ms Heart, you're amazing! The kon-mari in reverse really works for you. But also the original spark joy. You now recognize how many decorations you want in your house. And which decorations you want to use. So when you have set those aside, the rest were pretty straight forward. Great job!
Oh my gosh!!!! You did all of your Fall and Halloween in ONE video! When you said all of those costumes were going my jaw dropped. And that tossy tossy pile! I'm blown away.
Had same reaction!!! Great job decluttering
Thank you so so much my friend 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 That means so much to me!!!
This is huge! Not just the amount you let go (though, it’s a ton), it’s your mindset. You sound so happy and light. Great work!!!
Thank you so so much 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 I do feel lighter and happier!!!
I like how you controlled the chaos by putting away what you knew you wanted to use midway. A great way of dealing with the overwhelm.
Yesss! It self soothed my anxiety knowing I was putting my favorite things in a labeled bin so I didn’t feel so overstimulated by all the stuff 🙏🏼🦄🌟💜
Hating clutter by nature, I truly do not understand how and why people accumulate so much stuff. Good job!
Either these will make an amazing fall yard sale spread or they'll be an entire display in a charity shop 😍 the decor will bring so many other people so much joy.
I'm so proud of Pepper for all her hard work 🎉 ❤ such an amazing supervisor 👏 🙌 ❤️
😂
I have been following you for a good while now. I also struggle, and find your videos incredibly inspirational. I also have to say how amazing you are. Your home is going to feel so festive when you start decorating. The best part is that you're going to remember that you have such beautiful decor and you were able to let go of everything that didn't spark joy! What a good feeling!

Thank you so so much for your loving encouragement, it means the world to me 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
Amazing job and what a pleasant surprise! Maybe your super sentimental things that you don't need to constantly see, just know they're safe somewhere. Maybe a konmari on all of the boys stuff you want to keep soon?
One of your best episodes yet! It really demonstrated the extent of your collection and how far you've come in letting so much go. Be proud!!🎉
I agree 👍
I’m tearing up. You have come so far. I’m so proud of you for all the work you’ve done to get to this point. Thank you for being such a good example for us!!!
Absolutely amazing visual representation of the hard work and dedication you have put into your healing!!
I struggle with many compulsive behaviors and psychological issues, and I cannot describe how much you inspire me to recover! Maybe have a fall yard sale?
That’s a great idea!! Thank you so so much for sharing this with me 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
WOW!!!! I was not expecting such a huge declutter!!! I would use all the orange totes for Fall & Halloween as it colour codes them. Again....wow!!
What an achievement! I am so glad that you allowed us to follow your journey from the beginning because the change in you is so dramatic. It´s wonderful to witness so much healing in such a visible way and it´s very encouraging for everyone. And now you can enjoy your selected items and all the new space 🧡

Talk about yard sale!! Just this stuff would be an amazing .50¢, $1, $5 yard sale! 🤩
I know! I was thinking about what a blessing all those costumes could be to people at a yard sale in the fall. Costumes have gotten so expensive! Way to go, Miss Heart! That had to have been exhausting to do, and you did an amazing job!
You are so inspirational! You did a fantastic job decluttering. I love your humor. You are my favorite TH-cam channel and TH-camr.
Knowing myself I would keep all ceramic pumpkins 🥲
I remember when you didn’t want to be on camera in the beginning. Now you are a professional TH-camr & great famous persona. Did you ever guess this would happen when you first started? You are so strong and have made so much progress over the years! I admire you 🙌🏻
This video brought tears to my eyes. I am so proud of you and happy for you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.❤

Putting it all out lets you visually see how much there actually is. I think it allows you to be more ruthless.
Congratulations on making through all of your Fall and Halloween decorations & costumes! What amazing progress ❤
Wow!!! This was overwhelming for me who have been decluttering for years. YOU DID MIND BLOWINGLY AMAZING!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Those costumes are going to be a blessing to a lot of other parents in your community!
Holy declutter!! Amazing success
"Look around me: how many pumpkins do I need?!" 😆😜🎃
I was reading your comment right when she said it!🎉
Wow! That is a great declutter l. Shows how much you are healing.

Wow, I'm stunned, so happy for you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
I loved this episode so much that I had to watch it twice!!! ❤🎃
I am so proud of you!!! You did so good at letting go and opening up more space in your home! Great job! You should be so proud!
Congratulations!!!!! I was glad to see the return of the couch. This reminded me of the early days of the clothes declutters.
I love your commitment to not buy any new decor and I LOVE your videos where you craft from your stash. It always inspires me to go look through what I have and make something. ❤
Fantastic work! I've been working on decluttering for about two years now with the help of several TH-camrs! Still a work in progress. Wow!!!! You are amazing! I got chills when you said you almost don’t feel like a hoarder anymore! Inspiring for sure!! Keep up the good work!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ooooh costumes are so fun! I also get overwhelmed when I get it all out!! Thanks for joining the collab!
Amazing job!!! 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻🤩 well done Mrs Heart!!! 💜 🎉
I have two bins for holiday decor. One is for Christmas and the other is for the other holidays. The second one has Valentines, Easter, patriotic, and Thanksgiving. I've got a chicken named Pepper. I call her Peppy-Pep, too! 😊
You did so amazingly! It's astounding how you continue to grow throughout your journey.
So, so, so, soooooo proud of you!!! You are amazing!!! ❤
Omg you did a great job…..you are doing it so quick…..you are a great inspiration…..😊❤️
Well done! You have come so far! You are a force that can't be stopped ❤
Omggggg!!!! This is epic!!!! I am dehoarding a house and want autumn content this is BRILLIANT
This could be a great yard sale table in the next weeks! It’s certainly stuff that could help other people. Well done!
Great job! 👍
Well done, amazing to only have the stuff you actually use and love, and to have opened up space for easier access in the attic! 😊
That was fantastic, well done for getting to this stage that you can get rid of all that stuff. And just think of the amount of joy all that stuff is going to bring to so many people when they discover it for themselves.
You did great!!!
So nice to be part of this collab with you! As someone who has hoarder parents it's so nice to see you tackle this. I only wish my parents were this ruthless in letting go. Amazing work!
Oh my goodness I am sooooo proud of you! You keep me motivated to let my stuff go. Keep it up!
You did a great wonderful job on this for Halloween and fall declutter keep up the good work.,. I'm so proud of you.
OMG you have a hoarder’s attic?! I take this as a positive because it means more videos of you improving your spaces! Love your channel ❤
Whoa! That's an amazing delcutter.
I’m so impressed!! Thank you for the motivation!! 🧡
You did awesome! You rock it Girl! I remember the first time I watched you declutter. You could hardly throw away a piece of paper. And see you now! ❤❤❤❤
I'm so so proud of you! This was BIG!
1. You did such a great job! 2. When I saw all of the stuff i just burst out "Oh My Goodness!!!" 3. Thanks for explaining how to refocus on the task and reduce overwhelm
What a great accomplishment!
Yes, getting rid of things feels great, such a liberating feeling. I'm happy you now can experience that sense of relief.
Oh Melanie, I'm so pleased for you, that you've got to this place, with soooo much perseverence, where this is a celebration, not a struggle. You, dear one, spark joy in us!
Wow! What a big toss tossy pile! You did great!
Xx
This is amazing, I love seeing your videos and how differently you approach your de-cluttering compared to the start of your journey
Ms Heart, you're amazing! The kon-mari in reverse really works for you.
But also the original spark joy. You now recognize how many decorations you want in your house. And which decorations you want to use. So when you have set those aside, the rest were pretty straight forward. Great job!
