Bro can you teach us how to create game asset using pixel art like eastward or any high detail px art? Im so confuse how to create different things in photoshop I don't know what size of them when they were creating ex. is a tree and the character are the same size or need to adjust it when creating them that's why I'm so confused 😵😵
Hey, how would you write Q in your style of text? It seems like it's too detailed to fit in 4-4, would it have to be 5 long like M and W? ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛
This pallette looks beautiful!! I understand people saying that your Coffe shop is "too colorfull", but is most because in USA the buildings usualy looks grey and "Sad" and they are used to it 👀 Here in Brazil, for example, there's a lot of oranges and colorfull "coffe places", so this Art really feels like home to me 😊 Awesome job as always!!
That makes me wonder: what if he made a simple garden/park image and then refits it a couple of time for different nations. The mixture of stereotype and detail could be quite entertaining!
So many people who put themselves down in these comments... don't compare yourself to someone who's been doing this for years if you're just starting out. Self-pity doesn't make you improve, it holds you back. Watch his videos, study his technique, and try to learn from it. Wishing that your pixel art would be on his level is fine but you have to be willing to work for it.
i can’t believe people would bring themselves down rather than admire this beautiful piece ok that sounded mean but i just love this guys work (especially with the colours) so
I can see how fully rendering one object before moving to the next makes it feel more real because irl, things can just pop up over time, therefore, as more things get added, there's more of a jumble of stuff, making it feel more natural. At least, that's how I see it.
Last couple of days I been binge watching your videos. You inspired me to start making pixel art plus I think it's a wonderful hobby for this quarantine period. Thank you! You are awesome
I love this art series, so happy to see another addition! It's really refreshing too, to see these glimpses of totally mundane things in a cyberpunk world. I know cyberpunk is supposed to be "low life" but I can imagine being happy visiting a coffee shop like this if it were in my neighbourhood. 😁 I wish this collection was available as wallpapers - would you mind if people used it on their desktops?
Thanks dude! I really enjoyed revisiting this series, might have to keep it going from time-to-time. And yeah, I'm always intrigued by the more day-to-day aspects of these worlds; just interpreting normal things through that filter is pretty fun :D

Hi! I just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos, but my faves are these timelapse videos, they have been really helpful and inspiring for me, it not easy to find such quality content about pixel art on the internet, so thank you very much for putting this up.
ten days ago I watched this video. today I've finished my own little side-view shop based on it. it's not nearly as good, obviously. I still have issues making things as small as possible. but it's always good to have a project and this gave me that. thanks Brandon!
Nice job! Also I took the freedom of making an 8-bit song based on that cute chord progression right at the end of your video! I shall be uploading it soon once I get a nice thumbnail for it! I'm also learning pixel art, so I thank you for the timelapse, it's really inspiring!
Hey, you can make some pretty interesting art considering your condition, use what you have as an advantage, because the only thing that matters to make a good composition color theory wise is the value of the colors you're using (basically how colors appear in black and white, how light and dark they are), some interesting art pieces could come out of this, especially if you want a surrealist or fantasy setting and characters, you'll never know until you try, don't give up man!
What got you into doing CRT Time segments every now and then and how do you connect your computer to a cathode ray tube monitor? Side note: I've been wondering what my pixel art would look on a CRT. I always make pixel art so that it respects 8x8 tiles and their multiples, which makes sense, since my pixel art is made for the games, therefore the sizing of things has to compliment the gameplay and the game's resolution (which may change in certain layouts, for example, 320x180 or 427x240 for gameplay and 854x480 and greater for cinematics). For CRT viewing, however, the game's screen resolution would have to be set to 4:3 (240x180; 320x240; 640x480) aspect ratio, and scan lines also have to be accounted for (240 pixels tall - progressive, 480 pixels tall - interlaced).
Oh, that's a pretty palette! I'll have a look tomorrow... Would like to work on a piece now because I got kinda inspired while watching you, but then it's almost midnight. I'll probably do it tomorrow. Thanks for the video! EDIT: Oops almost 2 days already and I haven't even started... Got stuck on the piece I'm working on using AAP-64... Turned out way bigger than I anticipated and planned.
